    I heard your 1st 1312 demo and was hooked on Black Mass and your demos ever since. Really great sounds 👏

    Killer demo. I’ll probably have to catch this one on the next run, but it will definitely be mine. Kaden is hands-down my favorite builder, and he knocked it out with this one.

      Still use this pedal? Thinking about picking one up secondhand since they seem to be discontinued

    Awesome demo. I'm getting a massive Floral Green feel from the riff in the EQ Controls chapter. So good!

      Hahaha that's probably because it's from 'Be a Toy' off Spring Songs! Been revisiting that EP and just had to throw it in 😅 and thank you!!

      @@ambienttrash5234 Ha! I didn’t even realize that. It’s been a while since I have listened to that EP. It worked really well with the pedal.

    Love it! What IR are you using on the Captor?

    • @ambienttrash5234
      @ambienttrash5234  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! I believe this one was with an IR I made of my Marshall Origin speaker, though I'm actually using the Science Amps IRs lately

      @@ambienttrash5234 very cool, thank you for replying! If I can pick your brain further with two more questions:
      1) what are you using for your interface?
      2) have you been pleased with the Captor X overall?
      Your tones are always so tight here and on your IG videos, definitely an inspiration! I’m trying to figure out a tube amp recording solution which is compatible with living in an apartment, and I figured your are in a similar situation being in Seattle, but your guitar always sounds huge!

    • @ambienttrash5234
      @ambienttrash5234  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ChristianTimn thanks again, I appreciate that. I use a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6, and yeah I really love the Captor X. I'm fortunate to be in a house with a studio room away from the main living areas, but it's a small and ringy room so miking the amp isn't my best option there, and it's nice not bugging anyone cranking the amp.
      I don't know that I needed the Captor X specifically in retrospect, the regular Captor would have done fine, but it's certainly convenient to have the presets available on the Captor X.

      @@ambienttrash5234 Would you have any advice on writing original riffs like that? lol

    • @ambienttrash5234
      @ambienttrash5234  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lionofnaples I guess there's no real short answer to that haha ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but always a solid start to sit down and listen *closely* to players you like, and identify the specific things you like about how they play. I'd also seek out music that's maybe outside of what you normally play or listen to, and do the same. Original works are all just composites of the art we consume-the more you consume, the more pieces you have to put together something of your own.
