- In this video I go over the best early weapons you can get in the Demo :). Some of these trivialize key threats that make some early game expert fights difficult.

Nice stuff, i’ll give you a tip so you don’t need to switch tactics depending on what you are facing with the unwavering spear.
Just add this above your current tactics
Tactic 1: True thrust, Target scout
The Target condition will skip using the attack if the target isn’t there so you will use the next tactic attack you set up. Great way to not have to switch it in and out all the time

@@jonijuuso7296 tactic 1 true thrust, only scout, only flyer. Tactic 2 assaulting lance, prioritize low HP. I notice he will just use assaulting lance against scouts
@@vert8426Don´t mix Target only conditions, either it will try and target a flying scout wich there isn´t in the game AFAIK or it will look for both targets before activating.
Put
Tactic 1 True Thrust, Target Scout
Tactic 2 True Thrust, Target Flyer
Tactic 3 Assaulting Lance, Prioritize Low HP
Switch Tactic 1 and 2 around if you prefer to hit Flyer over Scout in case they show up in the same team.

As a tip for Clive and how I build him so you dont have to mess with tactics too much is set True Strike to priority 1 and set to only target scouts and fliers. There is a prioritize setting or a only target this or dont use skill setting. Then set Assaulting Lance to priority 2 with lowest HP rather than lowest %HP. Only way this might not be optimal is if he cant kill the frontline but they are stacked up and he could have killed the backline which this situation is very rare. Also if you use the PP up shield from the walled city and the Pursuit Bracelet he can get 2 extra attacks per battle which is super nice.

Damn I kinda wanna watch ur videos because they are always fun to watch, but imma wait until I beat the game because I want my first run to be as blind as possible, including just ways of playing, but good job covering this game, looks awesome.
I got 8 hours of gameplay which was cool. When I had 1 minute left I jumped right into a long battle since it lets you finish the map before the demo ends 😅

I recommend selling the gold egg for 30k to get these weapons early. I plan to replay during the full release so if you are like me and just trying to get through the demo efficiently you are not going to be gold farming really so the 30k now is better than potentially more money over time. Other than the Runic Sword, Sanguine Sword, and the True Strike lance I don't really buy special weapons much but the accessories are very good and also quite expensive. Pursuit Bracelet is amazing on Clive for example.
Selling the egg could be fine but if you beat a boss and get 2x you tend to get several thousand gold in early maps. I have seen it produce around 15-20k total from several boss kills (when dividing the boss gold amount by 2) in just a few early chapters so for the duration of the demo selling it is fine, but if you reload the save file when the game launches it could hurt if there is only one of these in the game.
The best weapon you can get in the demo is probably that sword you get from those stone carvings. Pretty good sword with high damage that gives 5 to all stats. Pretty hard to get really early though.
I know we're getting elves werewolves and angels but are we getting dragons giants etc... ?

The demo actually gives you 7 hours, not five. There's a countdown you can see. My first save went to 7:04.
It's five hours starting from the battle after you meet Clive. Your 7hrs includes prologue and pause menu time while the demo timer does not.
So you wouldn't recommend using the Recruit's weapons?
It should all depend on what your fighting and what the squad is rolling with. Speciality ones to switch to magic and bypass evasion tanks, will save you wipes at higher difficulty.
They can be decent but ultimately I prefer saving for better things from the new towns
