This demo has more content than most AAA games

Heres a little tip to make that comp even stronger, as far as having the lord block the thief hit, change the condition to only activate if the thief has no pp left, that way you arent tanking hits from anti armor units like the sledgehammer guy(forget the class name) were its better for the thief to use his passive for it. You can also add another row of priority to make it active anyway if enemy has an archer to protect them from true strike. I love how specific you can get with the conditions
My sense of time passing has ground to a halt after playing the demo. March 8 need to hurry tf up.

In all my years of gaming, I don't think a demo has hooked me as much as this one has. I didn't even care about it and now I can't wait for it.
Demo done right for such a magnificent game.

btw on that Auxiliary map, it's an easy way to level up super low level units, make a team of low levels geared with as many xp boosting gear as you can on them, and put them on a catapult, and let them kill as many groups of enemies as you can and you'll easy super boost levels.
I'm running a very similar team with Alain Sharon and I replaced Travis with Ochlys as my dodge tank and Clive with Berenice as my carry. Cleric active heal is so OP because it ensures your chain kill carry will always activate.
I have Berenice with battle cry and +pp amulet. She hits really really hard. And she can chain kill.
I'm not going to lie. While it might not be the most meta comp, I'm thinking of putting Alain with just a bunch of his love interests as a unit.

Some of the strategies here make me wanna go for another run and I've already done three. Man I am too hype for this game...I'm devouring all content I can find for it, march 8th can't come fast enough!
To be fair it feels like every single class can be op under certain circumstances thanks to how gear can grant you crazy good effects. And also the fact that overall each class has pretty powerful specific actions.
Fantastic team comp. You can replace Alain with Josef though, he doesn't guard and instead halves damage. They have to hit Travis though so the odds are in the players favor.
A party I’m messing around with focuses on Berenice dealing insane damage while a cleric heals and gives her extra AP so she gets to attack up to like 6 times in one round, if she kills whatever she attacks. I can’t wait to continue the full game
keep in mind this is a 4 person setup that is being used against teams of 3. Of course it would look good. I also think pp steal > poison throw.
But I think it's more the fact that it seems like you can "over level" you squad meta progression by dumping all your honor into one ubersquad. Doesn't seem to be any drawback to using larger squads yet. Can probably cheese the game this way until lategame

In theory the drawback to one powerful squad is stamina drain. But you can just spam smoked nuts. I will probably play this game without using items, seems easy enough already.
@@theflyingsamuraiithere will be literally infinire farming spots in the game, so you always can overgrind and bash your head into enemies.
How did you get to level 17? My demo timed up when I was around level 10.

Does this game have piles and piles of missable stuff like Ogre Battle? If you missed very, very minor things in Ogre Battle it became impossible to do things later in the game. Does Unicorn feel like that as well...?

There is an item that gives you the skill "follow up attack" I would maybe gives this to your thief along with the poison dagger to poison the entire enemy team.

the holy knight shield is in the divine shard shop for 15 shards.

Can anyone explain me how is he lvl 14? I rushed the entire demo and by the time I finish the last mision I only had 30 minutes left and my units were at most lvl 10
Make good use of Alain's XP Boost skill, doubling XP earned. Using on boss kills especially can sometimes make units jump a whole level or two

To be fair, my conclusion post demo is: if you set up a knight well, they will clean and it will be disgusting, but fun ha
Something tells me this strategy will backfire when you hit max level.
This kind of team kind of kill the game because you are suppoes to change strategy on each map, relying on the same staregy just makes the game boring to play
Yeah, all my excitement is gone. I knew I shouldn’t have looked up stuff for this game. Guess I’ll just start looking for something else to play.
This works in the demo, don`t expect it to work on later fights in the full game.

clerics were OP in the original games too. Used to have one in every group, made the game way too easy but I was a kid lol. I don't use the anymore so I can have a fun challenge.

Wow, totally lost all desire for this game now. Just use one unit and you can steam roll on expert, fun.
What other Turn-based strategy RPGs have you tried?
It took some time to create this and also this is early game we don't know how hard the game gets long term
just dont do this then. it's easier to do this in every other similar game without even having to find specific line ups.
