I wanted to ask Sir, why you had connected a 10k resistance to ARef and 3.3v?

@@akshayr.madrid3923 its important to make a conection to Aref and 3.3v on arduino board to work animation of the spectrum of MAX7219 DOT MATRIX,then the 10k resistor is optional to put it or not between aref and 3.3v, sorry for late reply hope it will help
