Yet again brilliant
You're documenting history here. Keep it up.
And a very interesting history it is! Yeah, amazing to see the change in music in such a short space of time from the end of the 60's through the 70's. I suspect that the next one - 1979 - will be interesting, the first sparks of new wave etc
Love these, great memories.
Slight typo, Mary’s Boy Child was the 1978 Christmas number one, not 1977.
Thanks for the correction!
And thank you for the education. All these years I never knew that Substitute was a cover. My 10 year old self loved that song. Went straight off and listened to the original. As great as the Righteous Brothers were it’s not a patch on the Clout cover (although I suppose I haven’t been listening to it for 46 years).
And Lucky Stars is still one of my favourite tunes.
Wooow!! Just relived my 1978 childhood. Thank you. 😂❤ Looking forward to the rest of the years. 🥰
Very Therapeutic, I must say.. X
Glad you enjoyed! Have a look at the other videos - currently at everything from 1970 to 1981 and its fascinating to see how music developed over this period of time... 1982 on the way soon, hopefully there by Tuesday!
Thats the plan...I was born 1970. My plan is to play the tracks whilst I do some sketching. I love revisiting my childhood. ❤ Thank you..x
