- The LA Clippers won’t win the Summer League title, but that doesn’t mean good things didn’t happen! Adam Auslund talks Jordan Miller’s great run, Kobe Brown showing out, and Cam Christie ending on a high note
Twas an exciting series. So close! But those guys look great!
Kobe Brown should play the 4, has the weight to do so, and can spread the floor. Kawhi should play the 3... not 4 like he has his whole career. Amir Coffey, Jordan Miller, Kawhi Lenard, Kobe Brown would be a crazy small ball line up. Each one is 6'7 and can shoot. Also, Kai Jones and Mo Bamba are athletic and can shoot then slow Zubac. If Diabate had a jumper, it would be over bc he can switch on guards. This offense could be fun if Ty Lou plays the right people, but I doubt it. The reason why the offense was slow and boring is bc of Harden and Zubac. Replace them with energy/athleticism and then this team would look way better. More fastbreaks
I'll take slow, boring and you forgot to mention EFFECTIVE over fast, exciting and ineffective and unproven, any day
@aauslund We'll see how effective that is when they play teams like the Thunder and Minnesota. It's already proven that Harden gets blown by, and the back side help is vulnerable. There's a reason why they struggled against those teams last year.
@@nnaattddoogg teams that *checks notes .....everyone struggled with? smh. You want someone else for backside help than Zubac who's routinely top 5 in rim protection? lol.
@aauslund I'm not saying Zubac is not a pretty good defender but when he encounters athletic bigs/bigs that can spread the floor (make him step outside the paint), it's a problem. If he is off defensively, he doesn't make it up on the offensive end. No mid-range (pick and pop) or three pointer like a Brook Lopez/AD/Al Horford/Sengun. The offense would look way better if he didn't clog the paint all the time. This is why the Clippers were imo great offensively with Ibaka and Hartenstien bc they were versatile in 2021.
@@nnaattddoogg the clippers had a better offensive rating with zubac on the court AND a better defensive rating with him on the court. you're just yappin' with less than zero facts.
Moussa, Kobe, Jordan, and Cam need to get some run this season, they look ready to set sail.🙌🏻🛥️

Until I see Kawhi healthy and at a top 5 level again for a sustained period of time, I'm not talking contender.

Ppl forget the stretch after the all star game where both PG AND Harden were in a slump and Kawhi had to work extra hard to make sure we won games. He was doing most of the heavy lifting this season so I’m not understanding the memory loss from some of these ppl smh that’s probably why his body gave up on him. He had to play hard to even win the sixers B team lol. I don’t get the kawhi hate
Kawhi had 1 30 point game after the Grammy trip in February. He was already starting to break down after the asb sadly
Kawhi Leonard playing the 4 is a contributing factor to his injuries. It is not a single factor but one of several.

Kawhi is physically not present in the playoff. But equally, PG is mentally not present in the playoff.
