I'm Neil and I am a triple amputee, bilateral below knee and partial hand. I'm now forcibly retired from Fire/Rescue/EMS services so I spend my time training jiu-jitsu and traveling as much as possible with my 2007 Silverado Classic tow vehicle (with my motorcycle loaded in the back) pulling my hand built grasshopper style teardrop camper.

Awesome video Neil. Tell you a quick story about Whataburger. They started where I live. Every location has a picture of the founder standing in front of the original location. Back into the left is a neighborhood my aunt lives there and my mother said she walked to that original Whataburger many many times. I always ask them 4 heavily toasted buns . Whataburger is the largest independently owned restaurant chain in the world if I'm not mistaken . You're very welcome to come down Corpus Christi. Padre Island National Seashore and the best Tex-Mex in the world USS Lexington port of Corpus Christi on and on come on down
It's on my list for next winter's trip!

You are in New Mexico you really need to try Lottaburger which is a New Mexico chain. If you like spicy ask for Green Chile on it. About 50c extra. Out standing.
Whataburger used to be really good, and lived up to its rep, but as with most of the big chains they have cut corners and just are not as good as they used to be. Now they sell flat greasy burgers that look like somebody sat on them. I grew up in Houston so i know how much its changed. I hope you found a decent location because that does matter too.
Hi Niel,, Fort Hood is pretty close to the area where I grew up. Just a chukle,, back in the 50-60's the soldiers from FH would travel over to my little town of Marlin and steal our girl friends,,, I have family,, Father 96 yesterday, and two half brothers,. They all live at Lake Somerville, which is south of FH and about 90 miles east of Austin. There is very nice State Park on the lake, just FYI. Enjoy your Texas time see you down the road,,,NLNP

Take the Trans mountain loop on the north side of El Paso, off off I 10. You pass around the military post, and miss all of the crappy traffic... and there are Whataburgers!!!! Dumps you out on the east side of El Paso, past the mess.
