Extraction 2 is a 2023 American action thriller film directed by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo, based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando León González, and Eric Skillman. It is a sequel to the 2020 film Extraction, and Chris Hemsworth, Golshifteh Farahani and Adam Bessa reprise their roles, with Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, Tinatin Dalakishvili and Idris Elba joining the cast.

I was honestly sad that Yaz got taken out, such a good character with a ton of potential to add to the story and dynamic of their team. Would have loved to see more of the trio!

We need more Iranians, middle easterns, Indians and Latinos in movies period !! I love seeing this Female Iranian actress and Tunisian who played Yaz. Absolutely sucked that they killed him off. But this movie was too damn good ! I need part 3 already. It beat all the John Wick movies, because it felt more realistic. Chris is a bad mfer !!!

Well all your hardwork (from cast to crew) has paid of. Extraction 2 for me is THE action flick of 2023 (thus far). Absolute masterpiece. 10/10 in my books. Loved every second of it. Can't wait Extraction 3.

I agree. The John Wick films are fun, but they're nonsensical fluff. Extraction not only had the better action scenes, but were more intense in general. Everything had such weight.

Watching Extraction 2 is like joining an intense workout session from the comfort of your couch! The action scenes are so adrenaline-pumping that I'm breaking a sweat just thinking about them. I mean, if even Thor himself wished for a shorter shoot, you know it's next-level! 💪🔥 Kudos to the entire cast and crew for pushing their limits and delivering an action-packed thrill ride. Can't wait to see Chris Hemsworth kick some serious butt again, and with the addition of Idris Elba, this sequel is going to be pure awesomeness!

Extraction 2 was much better compared to Extraction 1 and chemistry between these actors was fantastic.
Extraction 2 was great, but I actually preferred Extraction 1, India and Bangladesh felt more cut throat

21-min one-take action sequence? Omg! Huge respect to the actors and crews behind it!
I don't know if you've seen it yet, but they do have some masked cuts in there... however, that doesn't stop it from being the greatest action sequence since Raid 2.
It's rather a sequence made to look like it's one take, with a bunch of well hidden cuts. I'll say it would be impossible to pull off this sequence in one take. Still a very impressive, well made and cool sequence tho.
this is legit an absolute awesome movie, that almost 30mins of action sequence is breathtaking

The extended action scenes were fantastic! That's a 10/10. Must have been quite exhausting. Very immersive.
Teh "One-er" was awesome, but to see the clip in this interview where the camera gets passed from one cameraman to another, that is magical right there!

I was singularly impressed by Farahani's screen performance. Safely can I say in the 2000's, she is the only (non mma background) female who could convince me about a screen performance which so many woke females and fake she males have tried to do.
It's rare for an action movie sequel to top the original, but damn Extraction 2 pulls it off.

Man iv loved Sylvester Stallone my hole teen adult life..but since extraction1 hemsworth I must say after watching 2 got to be top 5 in the world the skill craft and ability to lure the viewer into the moments are phenomenal his emotion dynamic he is not just action packed genius along with director hargrave he is the modern Stallone he also seems like a normal humble man proper gangsta bruda
