Dude goes from stun man to director, what a legend
Lmao you never heard of Stunt man to senator? yeah only in the Philippines
Literally what Chad Stahelski did with John Wick, except this isn't as good
Jackie Chan yo
@@AonyjsViolmlar05 lol
@@danyhocine , well to me Hargrave is the more visceral action director. In the long run I've grown a bit tired of the overly stylized fantasy world approach that John Wick represents. Extraction 1 and 2 feel more real and more relatable to me.
Extraction Director is the real meaning of Hard work pays off.👌
He's the only director whose hard work paid off, right?
@@blackdynamite_5470 Nolan, bro literally made a nuke
@@blackdynamite_5470not said at all
Agreed
Crazy how he was Evans' stunt double in the first Avengers
Huge Respect to the helicopter pilot for not killing anyone.
ahahha fr
very2 dangerous moment in their life
Fred North (copter pilot in the movie) is a legend in Hollywood as a stunt pilot.
The Vic Morrow incident is a shining example of how that can go super badly.
Sam Hargrave honestly deserves a nomination for best director at the next Oscars. Regardless of genre, this movie is incredibly well directed.
Never going to happen. Oscars love rewarding trauma movies. The easiest way to win is to make a film about slavery, war, mental health
Chris Nolan has made several films that would be considered to be a masterpiece but he's never won an Oscar in director categories. He's not won before because most of his films are in the science fiction genre.
@@kingmatolo8381The thing is emotional movies are winning the most because they cause big emotions into humans and thus winning. The actors also can show their best abilities and what not that’s why those king of movies are at the top
The Academy is too stuffy to do it, but you're absolutely right.
This is a delusional fantasy about unmotivated aggression, stupid people and immortal operatives who have a "Deus ex machina" at every turn. Or as we say a РОЯЛЬ В КУСТАХ.
@@thocka5144 the issue is *genre bias*.
There are many actors who've had amazing acting performances in superhero, action and sci-fi movies BUT get snubbed.
How did this movie not get a theatrical release? The word “worthy” doesn’t come close to describing this film and all the work that went into it.
Theatrical and physical media too!
Streaming brings in global money to netflix streaming is just as good as movie release
Seeing this on the big screen would be unreal!!! Maybe if we all push for it, it could come to theaters. Just dreaming but hey, it worked Snyder to get his real movie made.
@@brentpeddy4223Snyder has a huge fan following, which is why Rebel Moon is getting a limited theatrical release. Extraction doesn't really have that luxury, which is a shame bcz i love the Extraction movies and how grounded they are compared to John Wick which is more fantastical.
Fam. That one shot sequence was stitched really nicely. They need to let stuntmen direct more action movies. They know what they are doing
Never knew I’d go down bad for these guys. Their passion and talent was shown here a lot. They care for every element in the scene, everything seemed relevant and flowing, characters were all balanced and well written… list goes on. I would not be surprised if others feel similarly as well. We’ve been waiting for some good ass film, this is one of it! Love them both and honestly all the people involved in this film.
when you speak English by stringing phrases together in a chain
You right
This movie has some of the most epic single-shot scenes in cinema history. The DP and team deserve just as much praise as the stellar acting 👌
The section from the prison to the train section , was literally 30 mins of non stop action . I never seen a movie like this 🍿🍿🍿
Sam Hargrave is officially my favorite director. He’s not just “directing” behind the camera. He’s actually in the middle of the action carrying the camera itself. LEGEND.
So did James Cameron
@@idjlesor Micheal Bay i think sam its the New Micheal bay
Hi, cuteface, i know this is like a dream to you.Thank you for being a fan

How are you doing my dear how long have you been my fans
Extraction 2 is my favorite movie this year. Excellent!
"Learn to do what the best do first and your voice will emerge from that." Love it, thanks Sam for this advice
Thanks for your love care and support may God continue to bless you, where are you chatting from?
One of the best action movies ever, starring the best actors, such as Chris.
Props to the director by the way👏🏼
Yeah, The helicopter scene was worth it. It was the scene that blew my mind the most. Big kudos to the pilot too
the movie was fun to watch, and this “behind the scenes” is beautifully edited because it captured the essence of the movie
Hi
Hi, cuteface, i know this is like a dream to you.Thank you for being a fan
Can't wait to see how awesome the 3rd one is. This dude deserves all the money
Hargrave is incredible. Not just as a director, but as a person. Hopefully on Extraction 3 Netflix puts his name front and center, because he deserves all the love and credit for his insane work.
The scene was so amazing to watch. I love those 'one take' scenes. They really ground the action, making u walk with the person and story rather then watching a bunch of clips of people hitting eachother at random untill the story continues that sooo many other movies do. Amazing work. Thanks to everyone involved!
No green screens or LED for the train/helicopter scene just blow my mind. That's crazy and really impressive.
Thanks for your love care and support may God continue to bless you, where are you chatting from?
OMG ! I NEVER SEEN SUCH A FIGHTING SCENE BEFORE
I had the opportunity to finally watch Extraction 2 and I am so impressed with Chris Hemsworth Acting he already is my favorite Actor and real life Hero and Inspiration and I hold the highest respect for him he really went all out in this Movie and he certainly played his parts to perfection.
Chris you are an incredible Human Being L❤️ VE you like a Brother
❤ hello how are you doing
Man extraction 3 should get a theatrical release,it would be 🔥🔥🔥
Hi, cuteface, i know this is like a dream to you.Thank you for being a fan
The dedication of Sam is just amazing, he bought a real helicopter for 20 sec scene when one would easily choose cg over it.
This is why I alway love to see Tom cruise movie and now Sam movies cuz I know, there's a element of realism in this movies, may not be in stories but in the moviemaking process.
"What if he was on fire" 😭😂😅 had me we weak, the director wasn't settling for less
Chad and Sam are probably now considered to be the best action movie directors of all time like from being a stunt man to a director is a gigantic leap to both directing some of the best action movies of all time
100%!! And the fact that he jumped out of helicopter and did handheld camera is even next level from Chad Stelinski
Sam created a master piece its incredible. I feel inspired He deserve an Oscar
Extraction 2 is very powerful movie i really inspired by there style and how they shoot it like i watched all of there behind the scenes and this was amazing 🔥🔥
Me as a viewer never felt flowing with action movie ever since Raid1 and Raid2. That one shot action scenes were dope and makes you go flow with it which made so thrilling and entertaining to watch. Thanks Extraction team for this dope movie this year. Can't wait for part 3
Sam is a genius. I knew he started as a stuntman and worked in the Avengers franchise but I didn't know he was Captain America's stunt double 😂. Well based on this we can say that Tyler Rake's stunt double might someday venture into directing 😂
Hi
This is a delusional fantasy about unmotivated aggression, stupid people and immortal operatives who have a "Deus ex machina" at every turn. Or as we say a РОЯЛЬ В КУСТАХ.
Nobody can beat that 45mins powerpack action scene of #Extraction2!!! Thankyou Sam & Chris for nonstop badass movies ❤🤯😱🤩👏🏻 waiting for future projects

Hi, prettyface, i know this is like a dream to you.Thank you for being a fan
❤ you are right
How are you doing my dear happy new year 🎉
Jackie Chan is a legend in the fine arts of crafting
I was already impressed when i came to know that the director himself shot the car chase scene from the first movie.. Now this is on another level!!
These movies are amazing. The work put into these scenes was appreciated by everyone who has seen it.
I was so baffled on how they did the camera work for the car chase scene. Some of the coolest action shots I've ever witnessed.
"middle of Prague" looks wildly
The way he described getting into acrion film making is how the best rappers developed their skill.. they listened to the greats recited their songs wrote them down bar for bar & recited rhem all till it was pitch perfect
then eventually u start to formulate your own style &that repetition from practicing high quality material pays off.. it becomes a muscle
Best movie of the year, i would have loved to see it on the big screen!!
One of best action movie ever 💓🎬
I am such a fan of Hargrave and Hemsworth. They are both young so I look forward to many more action movies with both of them.
Thanks for your love care and support may God continue to bless you, where are you chatting from?
No words I have to this movie deserves oscar for best direction, stunt, acting
Sam Hargrave is a special director, I hope to see his name on movies for years to come, absolutely love his style.
Sam Hargrave is a master of his craft. I’ve been so jaded by modern Hollywood sludge, and Extraction 2 was a joy to watch.
Everyone did a fantastic job. What a movie.
This most magic to see action like this
The action in this movie was shithouse insane! No obvious wirework, no willing suspension of disbelief, no cheese... everything was seamless and gripping. Watching the stunt work on this, I kept thinking "That's an injury! That's an injury! That's a grievous injury! He's hurt! She's hurt!"... so epic. Hargrave evolves into master class here. After this movie I went straight to bed and slept deeply.
Thanks for your love care and support may God continue to bless you, where are you chatting from?
one of the greatest scenes that is closer to reality...I salute the director
Hi, cuteface, i know this is like a dream to you.Thank you for being a fan
Fantastic movie. This is how you make an action movie.
This movie should have been released in the theatres in 3D, the whole team was just out of the world
Chris Hemsworth is the new Rambo and Arnold action star he needs to fight a predator
This director must work with Tom cruise
the best ever action movies i've watched ever.... Extraction 1 & 2... Heads off to SAM
'' Don't try this at home '' Do we look like we have helicopters at home!? 😂😂😂
badass director, badass casts, badass movie
...best action movie ever... watched it 3x
Tbh....they really really carried the audience through intense scenes...big 👍👏
I literally got mind-blown for the first time experiencing that beautiful Oner shot, I call it a Master shot.❤
INCREDIBLE technical and theatrical achievement! And a REALLY fun movie. Well done team!
Thank you for sharing this
definitely one of the best action films ive ever seen. really enjoyed both films. that oner was otherworldly.
Al time best action movie. Period. The badass scenes. Awesome. Really loved it. Watched the action scene nearly 10 times. Can’t get over it.
*They literally light five stunt players, and Chris himself on fire for that prison yard sequence. The director was and director and stunt man. They landed a helicopter in the rooftop of a moving train in the freaking cold. The director even walked into the downdraft of the chopper to take the shot. Can this get more badass?? Neftlix set the bar really high with this one, & and i don't think anyone will ever beat this!*
Thanks for your love care and support may God continue to bless you, where are you chatting from?
Finally watched it. My heart has never raced so hard during an action movie before. That was some next level stuff.
Man! I looooove these kinds of movies.🔥🔥🔥
This movie has some of the best one shot scenes iv ever seen
The Extraction franchise is proof that the cameraman never dies.
Extraction made a legacy🎉
Superb action from the moment the movie starts .. great job 👏
The most realistic moments are Tyler Rake seeking cover behind a ladder in the train sequence and the group seeking cover behind a drywood kitchen counter, both of the times they manage to shield themselves from bullets which are probably 30mm caliber. LOL.
As realistic as John Wick’s bullet proof suits? All movies have some BS in it. Nobody cares!
Hail the directors! Shooting continously without cuts! Incredible.
Hi, cuteface, i know this is like a dream to you.Thank you for being a fan

Oustanding orchestrated action sequence. Mind-blowing.
scene the guy using ladder as cover is great.
aand the helicopter scene was also 100% authentic. 🙂 o. my. god. these guys are crazy as hell
This movie rekindled my love for the action genre
Stunt coordinators are making the best action directors
"Don't Try at Home."
Me: I don't have Helicopter at home (•_•)
those action sequences are awesome
That one shot gotta be one of the best scenes ever
Handmade Stunts Rules! THX for that!
So basically he's Christopher Nolan 2.0 .Kudos 👏
the helicopter scene can go really wrong. mad respect for all of yall

perfect shot and scene
Huge respect
Loved this film, best action film I’ve seen in ages
this movie has the best action scenes I've ever seen. its amazing. Great acting too obviously.
Fantastic sequel. Was worried the first movie set the bar too high but was blown away. The hotel skyscraper setpiece deserves its own feature. Roll on part 3. Can't waitvto find out who the new "gnarly" employer is.
a pleasure to listen to this summary of passion, tenacity and sacrifice to achieve the best. Congratulations!
It should have been released in theatres.
Both movies were a smash hit with me looking forward to another.
Excelente vídeo 👏🏻
Hella dope! Amazing people fr

Hats off for both of you...❤
One of the best action movies of 2023! Well executed guys!
Okay I'm surely not gonna try a stunt at home where a helicopter lands on a moving train 😂
the contanewiry in this film 1&2 is second to nun.every time from wonds matching to bulit numbers everthing was top notch.thes guys diserv ever acalide .thanx so much for all ur hard work .master piece !
THAT WAS OP
EXTRACTION 2
This was real nice, it doesnt fully come into realization just how difficult a scene like the helicopter extraction on the train with words, awesome stuff
Thanks for the advice for us young filmmakers
What I loved about both Extraction films is their huge set pieces are in the middle of the film and then the deeper, intimate, character battles are at the end. So many modern action films think they need to keep turning up the spectacle until the end so by the end it's absurd. No. Film should always be about character.
