Well, he definitely looks like he thinks he's in trouble, because it's illegal to buy alcohol for people under the age of 21. Other than that, i can tell that he genuinely didn't know that the decoy was 12. When Hanson said that she said she was 12 his reaction was not the same reaction as Sebastian's, not even close. Instead of "Oh shit, he knows the truth and I'm definitely in trouble" it was "oh shit, am i going to be in trouble?" His obvious nervousness before that point was surely because he did commit a lesser crime. After Chris says the age he is first hit with shock of the fact, but because he is already trying to maintain composure, his smile freezes momentarily before the realization that he will most likely be seen as an accomplice to an even greater crime with greater social repercussions. But because the assumed authority figure was engaged with his friend and not himself, he was able to calm himself down without an overwhelming sense of dread. He most likely imagined that his friend wouldn't lie on him and proclaim his innocence, building a strong case. When Hanson did start to question him he had already calmed down and was completely willing to face the music about his lesser misconduct.
