You were visited by the Sage Kittens of the River? That's good luck.

Based on the thumbnail I'm guessing you've given up on using a fishing pole and now use the force to bring fish to you.

Im from Arkansas and that was my first and only time being there. You saw how pitiful my results were.

The dam area is best from a boat but anywhere is decent for the most part. Fresh bait is best. Shrimp, liver, and worms for catfish. Crappie use minnows. Stripers and whites tend to like fresh shad from a cast net but so do the blue catfish. Earthworms for bream. Dough bait for carp. Goldfish or big shad shallow under a cork for MONSTER gar. Lures for bass and rooster tails are great for white bass. I hope that helps.

@@AwfulAngler Great to see your fishing video. I will give you a little history. That spillway used to spill about 25 years ago and when it did the fishing was exceptional. It always held white bass and crappie and you could catch 25 of each species with no problem which is a limit for each respectively. The second area you fished near the broken boat ramp has always held white bass. The last area you fished is catfish and gar territory. BIG GAR when they are biting. Sometimes pro gar fishermen roll up to that spot in their boats tagged with sponsors all over the side just to gar fish. In 2015 we had a monster hurricane and flood and probably again in 2017. The massive amount of water caused the dam officials to release over 100,000 cubic feet a second and the river area has never been the same since. It ripped and destroyed many banks, boat ramps, houses, trees, etc. They were actually worried about the dam holding. I'll attach a short video for you to see all the area where you walked underwater. You did great for a first-time visitor and actually hitting some good spots. th-cam.com/video/OEvfmFi0uy8/w-d-xo.html

I've been fishing at browder since I was 13 years old I'm 40 now nothing's the same as it used to be in the fishing used to be way better before they redid the dam and put all that concrete below used to have a giant wash out there it was 700 feet from the cable to the dam if you could cast 650 ft you'd catch a blue cat every time usually a good one a lot of guys used to have barges with raised x so they could cast off of with long rods me and my grandpa and grandma wood cast 15 foot 12.6. .and11Foot rods with Shimano open face reels with extra reel Incase a of back lashes started around 9pm until day light then back home to Richard's TX man I love those trips where you're at now though we would tear the white bass up in that overflow and then just around that point where it goes back towards the dam everything around that point in about fifty yards up towards the dam all that would be white bass. City probably still good if you go at the correct time you can call the people up there at browder store and I'll they will let you know if the fish are biting from the customers or guides I've seen some good ones come out of that hole below the dam back in the good old days I haven't been there myself in probably 10 years but the last time I went it just wasn't the same!!! I went downriver seen about a 12 ft Gator dead on the got out and looked at it no visible marks! We were up there to catch whites that day we caught US a good limit each but I've been there where pet spoon and Poppin Cork rig or little George!!!

There's Clearwater All over and there's a muddy water all over if you're in a river some rivers are clear depends what region you're in and what type of dirt the water is running through obviously Clearwater means Sandy or rock bottom dirty water means muddy silt bottom bottom or deep water
