I kinda felt bad for Solomon. He seems like such a nice guy and it's a shame really that he didn't get much of his plan down on paper. He had it all up in his head (and on his phone), but I think he was a bit too confident about selling his plan, which is why he didn't write it down

Just like last week with Katie, what is the point of candidates to go through the process only for Alan to fire them on their business plans? If he's never going to invest in that business, why are they accepted for the show? Candidates with ideas Alan won't invest in shouldn't be accepted. Roisin was fantastic throughout, but if her business plan wasn't for Alan, what was the point of her being accepted? Her performance was ultimately futile.
I've been thinking the same thing since the format changed. I still love the show but I definitely preferred it when they were applying for a job rather than to be business partners
This is because they have an idea of a plan, but then over the course of the weeks the plan develops, thats why at the start of tonights show we saw them have 24hrs, if they already had them they wouldn't need that time, it enabled them to change/re-plan their ideas and plan for business.

Kade Beadman Well I'm not sure on the details, but I assume they will submit their full business plan with their application to the show, and the '24 hours' is just for the show and dramatic effect.

Well if Bianca wins, the whole show up to the last 2 episodes were pointless. She has done nothing and been carried through each round. Her only quality is she has an idea that may be succesful as she found a potential gap in the market. As a candidate, she was by far the weakest of the top 5. It is sad the other's business plans were so bad.

No it doesn't. It means her business idea could have made A.S loads of money. My cat would have finished second with the same idea
She worked so hard unlike your cat she has so much talent ans worked hard to br there but people like you probably judge thinking you could do that but couldnt so do you your self a favour and actually think how hard someone had worked before comparing your cats talent with it

LOL. I worked for a company who were trying to achieve an industry standard and had to write a business plan for part of it. They had two years to do it and the MD handed it off to a part time marketing manager a week before it was due. It ended up 3 pages long and the auditor looked like claude just did when he saw it.

After Roisin had been fired I could just picture the riots going on in social media. She should've at least beaten Bianca, really. Solomon going first was the right thing to do, but I didn't want him to go :( I hope mark wins, otherwise I'm not watching it next year.

The sad thing is Roisin's idea is a good one she's just not selled it correctly. The product she's making is only available in health food shops, she wants to make it commercial and mainstream. That's what she should have been aiming for.
It's not a new idea and is easy to copy.
CRW5252 The idea of making it mainstream, i.e tescos, asda, is new. She's correct that in a few years that brand will be taken and she's attempting to get there first.

What a load of rubbish this presentation has become Lord Sugar. There is no consistency re the series (which I was beginning to enjoy from abroad). I have lost interest in trying to find series x with episode x as they are not in order... Very shabby... Not the series but the location thereof on utube... Byeee
