You know, this whole "we don't want to check sylas for every champ" thing is really funny in hindsight, you know with the sett bug that locked players positions onto another character model.

I think it was a good oppurtunity for them to remove a lot of technical debt from the past, by uncoupling the way the abilities of old champions work. props for the tech team :)

as a learning developer, sylas has intrigued me so much in game since its so obvious how many challenges there would be. Congrats guys on making it work!

I don’t think so, many of the developer asks for feed back on forum and posts. As someone who follows their social media process, it’s kinda awesome to see some of the feedback making it into the game. A good example would be the new walks went through many fans feedback and iteration before they upload it.

So what you're saying is, this champion had been *_chained_* next to every back burner idea that probably never went into development because it was likely going to take alot of work to redo everything. I know you are just jk but let me be the Captain Obvious here. The only thing they saved is making his ult casting animation cycle & the ult vfx. While the technical nightmare is probably comparable to making a few dozens new ultimates at once.
