Quick little rv "hack" for ya. When you need to heat up your sleeping area, try and have some kind of divider to seperate the rest of the bus from your bed area. A small space heater can heat up a small area better when its closed off. Also for your bed, try 2 single cots topped with thin plywood, then get a nice foam 8+ inche mattress on top so you don't have to worry about an air mattress deflating on you. Have fun!!

A good homemade heater is to use a blower fan from a electric dryer and use the heating element to blow air through.

That heating element would be 220 volts, no?

@@theskoolielife you could use it either way 120 or 220. My generator provides both.

I'd been wanting to build out a bus for decades, but had put it out of mind because it was so far fetched. Then circumstances aligned in a way to make it possible. Perhaps they will for you one day.

Old ? I am 81 and a widower, and I'm converting a flat nose rear engine 2002 International bus to a fully self contained camper.

I'm old too but I bought a used school bus off of Facebook Marketplace and I'm in the conversion process to make it simple convenient and comfirtable, a fully self contained camper, a 35' rear engine bus..
