I don’t know what I was thinking when I bought gentle fluidity gold. I paid so much and don’t love smell but you described it perfectly. I’ve started pairing it with vanilla body lotion and that makes it work. Great video by the way!

My Elemental quad arrived yesterday and it's everything I wanted it to be! Muted and delicate. My coloring is very similar to Angela van Rose (expect my eyes are green) and I'm trying to add softer eyeshadows to my collection. I can achieve a smoky eye with little effort on my part, and am loving Elemental in that it's super soft - total opposite of smoky 😉
Warm Memories is too warm for me, but you pull it off beautifully! And I'm glad you're keeping the "Fragrance of the Day" in your videos. They're a fun touch!

I think the cooler palette would be more suitable for me. Those tones would definitely make my mature eyes even more tired looking. It is pretty, though. Enjoy the holiday. BTW, I love the color of your blazer.

Lourdes- the Silver smelled a little too much like GIN to me whereas the Gold had a bit more warmth and coziness to it. I love both the BR540 and Oud Satin Mood too! I hope you have an amazing holiday season! xoxo

So glad you did this review early! I have to get at least 2 or 3 things in there especially one of the eye shadow quads, I think the Elemental. Your eye look turned out to be beautiful on you and no it did not make you look sickly. I know what you mean b/c I have had to take a couple back (not Chanel) for that reason. I too am afraid that this one would not be flattering on my complexion...going to wait and hopefully try on when they arrive in store. Ive been looking for a really nice vanilla and did some research and i ordered a sample of Gentle Fluidity Gold and i put it on about a 45 minutes ago. It smells on me instantly baby tushy powder scent and its fresh and its not offensive but it smells like my work i work in a nursing home and its smells like the residents after they are showered. im looking a nice vanilla that is sweet but not a alcohol or tobaco smell too and nice for the winter. Everyone loves this scent but i have to wash it off ☹️ let me know if you have any recommendations

I ran to Neiman Marcus to try Baccarat 540, and it does not work with my chemistry at all. It smells of burnt sugar, like I was dropped in a flan, but not in a good way. The dry down just smells kind of moldy. Definitely not like Benevolence. The SA gave me samples of Gentle Fluidity and Aqua Vitalis to try. I think I will like this more. I will stop in Dior next week to try the Gris and Bois fragrances next week. Thank you for the recommendations!!

Carolyn- I am so glad that you got a chance to try those out! I find that Baccarat 540 is kind of a polorizing fragrance and it smells amazing on some and on others it does get that moldy dry down. It is so funny how fragrance can smell great on one person and not another. I have learned to NOT buy on the spot but get samples and try them out for few days before purchasing because some fragrances can turn on my body chemisty. I love Gentle Fluidity and the Aqua Vitalis was my first MFK fragrance- clean and crisp!!! Emmet found Beneovolence a bit SUGARY and SWEET upon first spray but liked the way it dried down. I think I really like Benevolence as a layering fragrance. Which sounds weird but it makes many of my woody fragrances - pretty and bright! Keep me posted on the Dior journey. I also love La Colle Noir and Amber Nuit. I am curious about Belle de Jour and have a sample on the way! So let me know if you smell that one too! xoxo

I’m curious...how does Warm Memories compare to Blurry Mauve? I purchased both the Warm Memories and Elemental, but never purchased Blurry Mauve. It’s still on my list, but I wonder if i “need” it now. What do you think?
That is a good question!! So I would say that the Elemental is more similar to Blurry Mauve. Blurry Mauve is a deeper version of the Elemental. The Warm Memories - seems a bit more warm neutral versus a cooler mauve. I don't think you need Blurry Mauve if you have Elemental unless you want a deeper version. Does that make sense?? xoxo

Hi Abby: I have a quick question. Could you do a video on the Cle de Peau highlighter pen, the Sisley pen of the same and the Chantecaille pen. All three of these seem to be similar in what they do so seeing them perform side by side would be very informative. Thanks for considering. :)

I got this quad too and am on the fence about keeping it- I love the pop of peach tone but the dark mauves almost makes me look a bit ill?
I definitely don’t like the mauve liner - Michele used it in her video too and I thought it made her look “sick” I think a brown tone would look better with this quad. I’m waiting for the Elemental quad as I ordered that one, as an afterthought and I think I will like that one, overall, more. I wish that one had the beautiful peach pop in it!
If you had to choose which one do you prefer?
Yes- I was worried about this color story making me look ILL too! There is a fine line and I think you definitely have to ground the mauve with a brown liner as well. I think if you are on the fence - you might want to return and maybe get the liquid shadow in Rising Sun for the pop of peach. Not worth keeping a quad for one shade. I was surprised how much I liked the Elemental! It is soft, muted and SO pretty! Let me know what you think once you get it! xoxo

Merry Christmas Abby! Thanks for the video. I love to see you using Chanel products. May I suggest that you feature less perfumes in the beginning of next year. It's becoming hard to understand what you really like that way. You're showing too many lately and to be honest this is not the most interesting content.

@@claudiapomerantz9271 totally understand! And I have a love of ALL things beauty related including perfume. And I included this perfume today because I truly love it. I purchased it myself with my own money and just sort of fell in love with it again over the weekend. I am a true fan of MFK perfume : ) I appreciate your feedback and I am a people pleaser and was nudged to show a little bit more of my perfume collection. And the ramp of perfume has also been because I received some recent gifts due to the holidays - so I promise they will chill out in the beginning of the year or I just won't share. xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite Maybe you could do a top 5 perfumes of all times and then it will be easier for me. Because I purchased one and the next video you showed another and I returned the first lol Then came another... I have similar to your taste but I don't need more than 2 perfumes.
@@claudiapomerantz9271 oh Claudia! I am so sorry! I am a bit of a perfume junkie - so I have a rotation of perfumes that I truly love! But yes- you DO NOT need to be a junkie like me and am sorry you had to return a perfume because I shared another one. I feel bad. What did you end up keeping?
Just FYI- My family members also like perfume so that is what we gift each other - thus the reason I have a bunch of perfume. We also swap from time to time- so I will share my TOP 5 Current Favs and again- this holiday season - I got so many perfumes that I even am having a hard time testing them all. LOL!
