I bought mine used so there were no instructions and a couple of missing bolts. I went to Home Depot and they had the exact replacements. While there I blew another $5.50 on a long 1/2 inch socket which made the assembly much easier. I'm a big guy so getting that last top bolt and climbing grip on was an adventure as you have to get inside the critter.
I put this together myself last year. I was 95 lbs at the time. It took me 4 hours. I agree. This is NOT a one person assembly 😂 I cried a couple of times but I did it dang it! If you don’t mind challenges go for it… if you are not challenge oriented get help. This thing is awesome.
I cannot believe that you did it solo! That's an amazing accomplishment and at least you only cried =) Assembling this thing solo would lead many people to drink! Our daughter loves it and we had to ASSEMBLE IT AGAIN, after we moved. Unfortunately when we reassembled it we misaligned a few pieces and need to reassemble some aspects of it. It still works but is too pointy after reassembly because we made a few minor mistakes. Three of us performed the reassembly.
@@IrixGuy AWWW man! We're about to move and I'm searching for the 1/2 socket to begin taking it apart XD. Definitely going to have hubby help me reassemble it! It's so sturdy! I think I enjoy clinbmbing on it as much as the kiddos do! Is it a one person deconstruction job or is it a two people deconstruction job? good toknow about the pointyness after reassebly too thank you! Also, how did you transport it? I'm thinking either a long box or just roll the pieces up in that huge plastic wrap stuff lol. Thanks for all the help! Will be referring back to this for reassembly when we get to where we're going woot!
I put this together myself today. It took 2-3 hrs. I used a deep 1/2''' socket and a portable drill with a socket adapter. It would have taken an additional hour if I had used a socket wrench instead of the drill. If I had not used the deep socket, it would have taken much longer -- at least three more hours I'd guess. I found the included written instructions straightforward to follow. Contrary to claims made, the assembly does NOT require two people.
Thanks to your comment and the video from Lifetime, I did this by myself in 2 hrs. Ordered an extra long socket and socket adapter for my drill. Arrived just as I was sorting out the poles.
@@IrixGuy I just did it all alone in two hours. My wife said since I made the comment on your video I had to try. It helps that I’m 6’5” with long arms.
I appreciate the review, but please don't listen to this guy about needing 2 people. I put this together yesterday by myself in an hour maybe 1 1/2 hours. Just watch the Lifetime assembly video. Put each piece on one at a time on the screw, not all 4-5 arms at a time on a screw. So again YOU CAN easily put this together by yourself.
Congratulations! That’s a major accomplishment. I’ve assembled my home gym, furniture, etc. by myself but this was too daunting for me to assemble solo and I had to engage the wife for assistance.
I would probably be divorced if I tried that. Assembling the single unit was tough enough....LOL. It has held up well once assembled and is definitely built like a tank!

Superrr helpful thank you
You’re welcome! Assembling this climbing dome was a major undertaking but it’s very sturdy and our daughter still
enjoys it!
Great job, Irix Parents!😁👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

That’s quite a feat assembling it solo. Congrats!

deep well socket won’t work?
i wonder if I can disassemble one of these. other people say 90 min to 2 hours
Maybe but reassembly will likely take much longer.
Man, now I want to try assembling mine alone even more. 😂. I ordered the red and blue one. I wish I’d seen this color first. Oh well.
LOL it took patience but it has held up super well. It’s extremely sturdy!

@@atcdan133 Wow, that's an accomplishment for the Guiness Book of World Records! Congrats!
Tim Walz would have gladly helped you
No thanks! Then he’d make me pay him to fix everyone else’s climbing dome too!
I’m good at assembling things and tried to assemble this on my own and failed
It's a two-person job for sure!

I just assembled one alone, I used saw horses. The instructions that came with it were terrible.
That's a cool technique and assembling this solo was one heak of a test of patience I bet....LOL. Good job!
what is this used for?
Climbing
Challenge accepted 😂
LOL let me know how it goes =). Link in this video's description, should you decide to order one LOL
Google deep socket!. Just saying...... Great video tho! Big help thanks.
Will do and thanks!
