Friar Edmund Cass stays busy helping the people of Greenville. A Franciscan since 1975, Friar Edmund was Ordained to the Priesthood on January 17, 2000. Today he’s Archbishop of the International Old Catholic Churches.
But his story is unlike any other. Bishop Friar recently added a new role to his job description…Uber driver. He has quite the reputation around town, as well, as the Uber Friar who “drives for Jesus.”
Bishop Friar says that when people ride in his Uber, they are, in essence, helping to feed the homeless and the community around them. It all goes back to the ministry. And there are some funny stories he can tell, too.
But if there was one message he could spread to the world, it would be "to love each other."
