- I found “Cha-kun” the red tabby which I created in 2018 in my hands again.
The owner who asked me to create “Cha-kun” had another cat called “Koh-chan” who recently went to heaven. I decided to create Koh-chan for my new project.
I wanted to see them side by side and make small adjustments so I asked the owner to send me Cha-kun.
They were both stray cats.
Both cats were taken in at different times but were both suffering severely from starvation when they were found.
With the much love and care from the owner, both cats found themselves very happy together as a family till their very last day.
Cha-kun and Koh-chan were very fortunate to have such a kind-hearted and loving owner take them in.
I had the opportunity to create such cats.
I don’t really know what role my cat portraits have but I hope that they somehow help these cat owners who have lost their beloved pets.

My 20 years old cat died yesterday. She was my dearest companion and a true friend, and losing her was like parting with a piece of my soul. You've no idea of the comfort your videos bring me, knowing that a complete stranger can put so much talent and care to commemorate someone else's beloved pets.

The cat frames are artisan goods, and can sell for hundreds of dollars because of how much time goes into them. I don’t think the creator cares about how many likes the video gets, this is just an advertisement to sell more frames.

This was an amazing watch. At first I was so confused about the severed cat heads (I did not know they were felt art originally).

I started crying the moment she started shaping the ears. My cat is only turning 3 this year, and that's pretty young, but the thought of her growing older much faster made me sad.

I suddenly remembered my cat. Her name is Chi Chi. She's a sweet cat who loves nuzzling her face on my foot. She loves cuddling with me. We assumed Chi Chi died because a stray cat attacked her. Next thing we knew in the morning, she was laying lifeless on the ground. I really miss her.

Outstanding, I'm blown away by how realistic these portraits are. I know my daughter would absolutely adore one of these of her very precious first cat who we all loved and still miss him now, especially his big brother Dex (Siberian Husky) and Belle his feline little sister. Amazing.

Imagine creating a whole exclusive needle felting museum and featuring as many known furry animal heads as possible. Lynx, cougar, cheetah, fox, tiger, wolf, ferret, monkey, beaver, gorilla, platypus... Then there's the prehistoric furry section of the museum, and fictional or pop-cultural furry section as well. I can imagine the fictional furry section being the most popular one of all sections, because we do love popular references. Just a museum full of felt animal heads.
Well great now I need to look up how to wet needle felt because I cried all over my wool while watching this. Beautiful portraits, the owners are lucky to have such lovingly crafted memorials.

This video made me cry, because the concept is so beautiful, and I as a person would love to be able to see my passed little ones again, but the thing that made me cry was that the one I was petting while watching this video decided to give me a forehead boop, something he rarely does, and that loving gesture along with this amazing video just had me bawling.

I thought exactly the same thing and I don't know how this copy would satisfy the owner who lost his cat. This could be very traumatic. Better is probably a photograph or a film, like light frozen in the time of time, which until now only projects with the attribute of that past with life, than a real tangible imitation that exists in the present as a corpse and may not be good for memory - the cat was part of the family , as a family member. This is possible with a hunting trophy, because the relationship was not personal and the trophy is a reflection of the art of hunting rather than a tribute to the life of the animal. I don't want to dishonor an artist who is very professional in what she does.
