- The cat that I created this time spent a long life of 22 and a half years with his owner.
His name is Blue.
Blue was a kitten who was injured and bleeding when he was taken into care.
At that time, his eyes were a beautiful kitten blue color.
This is the origin of his name.
The color of his eyes turned yellowish green as he grew up.
In the spring of 2020, cancer was found in Blue's gums, and the disease progressed to the point where he lost half of his face.
Because of this, the impression of his last appearance is so strong that there is not a day that goes by that his owner doesn't think of Blue, but somehow only his face is vague in her memory.
Blue's owner said, "Even though his appearance changed, he was still very cute to me until the end."
That's what she told me.
I wanted to deliver a work that would remind her of Blue.
Also, to those who are in a similar situation
May there be healing and comfort in the midst of painful times.

ブルーちゃんの写真や作品を見て｢虹彩メラノーシス｣では無いかと思いましたが｢病気で顔の半分を失った猫だった｣と知ってそれに近い病気だったのだと思いました。
わくねこさんの｢私は 痛みの無かった頃のブルーちゃんを届けたいと思った｣と言う気持ちは飼い主さんに対する素晴らしい思いやりだとおもいます。
わくねこさんの作品は思いが溢れ出いる心のこもった作品(何故か作品とは言いたくありませんが､､、)だから感動するのでしょう。
２２年半の生涯の元気だった頃のブルーちゃんの表情、涙が出るほど素晴らしいです。
飼い主さん久しぶりに会えて嬉しかったでしょうね😭😭😭気持ちがわかるだけに涙が出ます。わくねこさんが思いを込めて針をさしている姿。本当に素敵な事をされていると思います😢

When you showed us the pictures of Blue and your finished piece, I burst into tears! Maybe in part because I already knew what kind of a reaction would such gift make the owner of the passed cat evoke... Or maybe because the beauty of it touched my heart. The video of people opening the box made me even more emotional. I am sure that this memorial of the pet will be very precious to the owner. 💖

１年前に天国に旅立ってしまった我が家のウサギを自分の手でニードルフェルトを駆使して再現出来ないものかとずっと考えていましたが、この動画を見て一度挑戦してみたくなりました。

Oh, I'm so sorry! Know how you feel, I hoe she has come back! There are Animal communicators that are really good at tracking them, try that! There is a video on You Tube about it too . 🙏🏻 I lost both my furbabies this year in one week time after 15 years together, I am still grieving

After watching your videos for few months and the Netflix interview. I brought all the tools and wanted to make wool sculpture for my furry kids. I dont think my work can be like yours. But i will keep trying until successful.

昔最愛の猫とお別れした時、湿った鼻と小さなオデコにキスが出来なくなってしまったことが寂しかったのを思い出し、涙が出ました。
本当に素晴らしい技術だと思います。
泣けました・・・ひとつひとつに「わくねこ」さんの魂を感じる作品。

貰い泣きしました😢羊毛フェルトの教室に通い、亡くなった飼い猫をモデルにして作りましたが、なかなか上手にできませんでした。羊毛フェルトの製作は、とても根気のいる難しい作業です。
最後に亡くした愛猫も鼻腔内悪性リンパ腫になり可愛いかった顔が変わってしまったので、ブルーちゃんの飼い主さんの気持ちがわかります。
家族ですからね。私も3匹天国に送り､いま3匹の保護猫の世話をしてますが､可愛い我が子ですよね。

うちにも他界した猫がおりました。こんなふうに再現していただけたら、まるで生き返ったように思います。ブルーちゃんの飼い主さんは、元気だった頃のブルーちゃんにまた会うことができて、もちろん嬉しかったでしょうし、心が救われたと思います。
