when people say "wish i could see more of this side of Laganja during the show", do they realize that this side has ALWAYS been there but the Producers wouldn't want it on T.V because it's not entertaining enough? This calm and nice side of laganja does not pull ratings for the show, therefor the producers weren't even going to show it, they want drama, so all you see is Laganja's break down and kiki voice. All the other parts were edited it out.
Thank you so much for pointing that out! It seems that a lot of people don't realize how heavily the show is edited. They can make any queen or any situation look pretty much any way they want. The viewers need to realize that, and not be so hard on these girls. People need to give Laganja a break!
See, that is something I don’t get. I for sure would watch more reality tv (and more drag race for that matter!) if there was less drama. I don’t know why everyone is so convinced that drama is good for the ratings.
+Tsion Ford I think it was heavy compensation as well; she was a new girl in a big show with a lot of very high calibre, so she turned up all those mannerisms. Withdrawal from her marijuana for her anxiety also turned that up, so the mix of anxiety with compensation blew her character completely over the top. But I live for it; Laganja's trainwreck tendencies on the show made that first half of season 6 so amazing to me. Laganja and Gia were a flawlessly over-the-top pairing as well.
i know the way he handled everything, and how he spoke about his breakdowns made me have sooooo much more respect for him, he don't give a fuck and he's learned from the experience, love ganja♥
I would say the since Jay has been a pupil of Justin since high school, yea there is a personality mix there. They are close, and when they say family they don't mean drag family but real family. They are as close as anyone can get without sharing the same mother. Alyssa and Justin has taught Jay and Laganja everything, albeit Laganja has grown creatively on her own with her own special talents. They will always share alyssa-isms.
i like that laganja really owns her part in rpdr and isn't ashamed or bitter about anything. i really respect her and think she's wonderrrrrrful. okurrr?
I sorta get it how Adore said on the show that the Laganja she knows wouldn't speak like that (Okurrrr, Yes Mama, and all the over exaggerating things) and it freaks her the fuck out. Like it was all different off camera. I didn't understand because I felt like it's how she had been speaking since episode 1. But hey, Laganja here is very cute and sweet and just nice.
He just admitted his behaviour and eccentric attitude on Drag Race was fake: "I have other sides to me too, but they don't make for good television. Okurrr *snaps fingers*" I knew it. Right when Bianco said 'when I talk to you behind the scenes when the camera's aren't rolling, you're a very nice person" Fake Gawd!
I think Laganja might've been referring to the editing of the show. They film 14 hours a day, there's a lot that "isn't good television", so there's probably footage of him being calmed and nice but it never made it to the final cut.
Seems like a nice and sweet person though. So a personality she threw on because she felt like acting that part "feeling her fantasy." Cut people some slack, people grow and change. Also weed is fabulous.
That's not what he was saying, he was saying that he has his crazy side and he also has his normal side, and both are present but the show was edited so you only ever saw the crazy.
I'll say it again, I wish she was like this on the show cuz she is still slightly extra but it's not forced so it's cute, like it comes out in bursts instead of one never ending explosion of overness lol. She seems cool and she's a dope performer so it's a shame it went down how it did.
This is why I think she would be a great candidate for All Stars or another regular season of RPDR. She left Season 6 on such an ugly note. She's grown a lot since then, and I would love to see her get some closure/ redemption and blow all the haters away. (That's assuming that she's interested, which may not be the case.)
Laganja and Phi Phi are not in the same category. Laganja was never a bitch and did not undermine anyone. She was just irritating in a Mimi Imfurst way. Phi Phi approached drag race like a ruthless sociopath so it is unfair to put them together. With that said I still like Phi Phi even with her egomaniac personality traits.
yes, they are in the same category because they were both extremely annoying on the show... and that how I grouped them together... I don't care how they approached being on the show, if they got on my nerves, they are going to be grouped together.
do u think it was real heavy editing tho to make the final three look better? (in both case scenarios, like i know phiphi was top 3 but i feel like rp edits in favor of fan favorites)
Loved her then, love her even more now. Ganja has grown quite a bit and seems to be more at peace with herself. Props to ya, mama! Always and forever my queen :'3
I so wish Laganja was more like this on the show. She's so endearing, and more... relatable? She doesn't seem so forced. A little of her extravagant manner is still there, but it's not so overpowering and it's really nice to see. Wishing her an even more successful post-Drag Race career :)
He's so chill here, I think RPDR was just a bad lens to see him through. And he seems to have a sense of humor about the whole affair which is really mature and good to see.
Omg anyone notice the way laganja looks at the people she does videos with? It's like she puts so much effort into the conversation she's having by leaning in so dramatically It's like....idk...it makes me happy to see someone who puts so much......love into a conversation love you boo
Love seeing more Laganja! He's so sweet and chill and loves giving fierce, hoochie mama attitude. I'm into it. And his sense of humor over the whole rupaul debacle is awesome. I never would have guessed. I always loved his aesthetic and talent but now I'm a fan of the guy.
I always loved Laganja even before drag race. She's an amazing performer and she is such a sweet person. I do feel that she may have been portrayed in the wrong light, I mean we all know that drag race can make or break anyone with the editing. She did a great job with the makeup and I'm glad we can see the more toned down personality of Laganja!
Ganja looks so refreshed! The way he carries himself even makes him look more handsome. He still has some of his "okkkkayy" but I can take it, it's who he is. Happy for him and all his new projects
Laganja is so charismatic outside of the show. The editors and producers really didn't do her justice. And I love the Haus of Edwards influence peaking through. She's great.
i love Langanja so much, she is just so chill. When i first saw her on RPDR, I didnt get a proper intro to her; because she was so new and anxious. But seeing her in these kids and her vids with Jeffree, it gives a more comfortable intro to who Langanja Enstranja is. 💜💜
Laganja is the ONLY person so far on this show that can look James in the eyes while having a conversation! Finally they have a guest who shares James' disregard for personal space.
I have to admit, I didn't like her at all on the show, but to see her admit she wasn't perfect and move on is great. this is the laganja we needed for the show. at this rate with her improvements since the show and her personal growth, I think this queen might be a serious all stars contender. you gained a fan with this video ganja :)
I was never the biggest fan of Laganja, but this video really made me like her more. Plus that look was giving me Mermaid Madame of the brothel, which I loved!!
This is really one of the best transformation looks, because unlike 90% of them it actually pulls together into a cohesive look at the end. Way to go ganj
I love how much Laganja has grown since drag race, she may still be young but she isn't like annoying or anything anymore and you can obviously tell that Alyssa Edwards is her drag momma like all them damn tongue pops and dem shenanigans
You know as someone who competes a lot with friends, sometimes you have to give it up to your friends when they are right. And Laganja is right, her look was so much stronger than Adore's. Based on looks alone Laganja has Adore beat. Sorry bout it.
Yeah I can agree on this tenfold, but sadly adore's personality became her trump car and she became top 3 cause of it. Adore knew her looks weren't good so she relied on funny and personality to get her through which is hard to do but she managed. Adore is my favourite queen however, I would actually rather have laganja for top 3 instead of Courtney, atleast laganja knows how to hype up the party while Courtney is boring and can only stick to one look and that's it. If laganja didnt act the way she did I have high hopes that she could've made it far.

Everyone was so quick to say that she was a mess and acting a fool, but she said herself she had to detox to be on the show. That's not easy, so Props to ya Mawma!
I really love how far Laganja has come since drag race and she's actually so sweet and fun, the best part is she can take all that drama from the show into a place of humour
I love it when drag make-up uses costume/sci-fi make-up techniques! The scales effect isn't anything new, I've seen it before on a "How to look like Alien Flo" youtube video, still love seeing it incorporated into a drag look! I wish more queens would combine their basic beauty make-up with a little sci-fi twist like this! Laganja scores major points with me for going outside the box!
I love Laganja as a person. Honestly, I wish Logo hadn't made her seem like she was this out of control, emotional wreck. She's so sweet in all reality.
Langanja is such an all rounder like she's handsome as just Jay and she's absolutely beautiful as laganja. All the change from RUDR to now is really tremendous. I love her. Hail the queen ❤️❤️
THIS is the real Laganja, not what they showed on TV. LUV HURR. For those of you saying she's acting like Alyssa... Alyssa didn't invent those mannerisms, they've been around for ages with queens. So, next argument please.
Glad to see Ganja's real personality come through, I knew there was a calmer/sweeter side we just never got to see it on rpdr. I believe in Alyssa & maybe it's blind loyalty but as her Daughter I really wanna see her do well in the future #DragRaceAllStars2
I've been watching for the past few days and this is so fun - thanks for posting and having a good time with your truths of flamin' love... sweet Uncle Fester...
I didn't know Laganga was capable of a make-up look like this? I keep seeing her do all these dope looks now. Where was all this creativity on the show?
Laganja's voice when she's not in character is so soothing like I just want her to read me bedtime stories
Same
she sound the same.
Me too!
when people say "wish i could see more of this side of Laganja during the show", do they realize that this side has ALWAYS been there but the Producers wouldn't want it on T.V because it's not entertaining enough? That's how all reality shows operate. It's why reality show is something of a misnomer.
RigoStarr Actually, yeah you can. You can do a lot with editing.
No, they wouldnt let her smoke weed on the set so that let to mood swings
See, that is something I don’t get. I for sure would watch more reality tv (and more drag race for that matter!) if there was less drama. I don’t know why everyone is so convinced that drama is good for the ratings.
I think Laganja was just put in a bad light on RPDR. I enjoyed Laganja here a lot, one of my favorite transformations.

Laganja seems more down to earth and real in this, it was nice to see that.
They wouldnt let her smoke weed on the set, so that led to mood swings. Now shes just really high
I like Laganja. She went through a lot on a show. I like that she's being classy about it. I can't wait to purchase some jewelry!
sacreblue@me.com for discount code!
i know the way he handled everything, and how he spoke about his breakdowns made me have sooooo much more respect for him, he don't give a fuck and he's learned from the experience, love ganja♥
I'm so glad he's found himself, but still has those Alyssa-esque mannerisms about him. He's really come a long way as a person since the show!
It's infectious... Have you seen Vivienne Pinay recently? lol
Eve Summers Viv looks absolutely fabulous. Love her makeup tutorials.
jerickzane
Oh yes she does lol I'm just referring to her newfound "personality..." Alyssa's mannerisms are contagious.
I just realized your last name is the same as mine. LOL we may be related. : ) Jamie Summers here.!
I would say the since Jay has been a pupil of Justin since high school, yea there is a personality mix there. They are close, and when they say family they don't mean drag family but real family. They are as close as anyone can get without sharing the same mother. i like that laganja really owns her part in rpdr and isn't ashamed or bitter about anything. i really respect her and think she's wonderrrrrrful. okurrr?
Saj Ali plus she's a sickening performer! The shoes that she wear GURRRL she makes it look effortless.
i dont know how she doesn't break her legs, she's SO thin and the heels are HUGE
Is it just me or does laganja look so cute as her boy self in this!?!
Yus Laganja is very cute out of drag
+JANOSKIANATOR 4LIFE ABSOLUTELLLYYYY! -gia gunn
+Kokona Haruka XD HAHA
He is my boy crush with brown hair
I sorta get it how Adore said on the show that the Laganja she knows wouldn't speak like that (Okurrrr, Yes Mama, and all the over exaggerating things) and it freaks her the fuck out. Like it was all different off camera. I didn't understand because I felt like it's how she had been speaking since episode 1. But hey, Laganja here is very cute and sweet and just nice.
+lisadalia i think adore was just mad that laganj was getting more attention then he was
+Rene S eeeeh maybe, but it wasn't just adore who pointed it out.
I mean who really talks like that ALL the time?
It's the weed
+David James Lee Lol you don't speak faster when high!
I just realised James was talking about Kennedy Davenport when he was talking about the queen that does flips and stuff omg
That was my first thought too
That was my first thought too
I THOUGHT THAT TOO!
This turned out really good and I like how Laganja kept changing her mind- in a good way.
He just admitted his behaviour and eccentric attitude on Drag Race was fake:
"I have other sides to me too, but they don't make for good television. Okurrr *snaps fingers*"
I knew it. Right when Bianco said 'when I talk to you behind the scenes when the camera's aren't rolling, you're a very nice person"
Fake Gawd!
It's an edited reality show. Don't take things so seriously.
I don't think another side of you means fake, so you shouldn't think that way for Laganja as well
That's not what he was saying, he was saying that he has his crazy side and he also has his normal side, and both are present but the show was edited so you only ever saw the crazy.

Stephini Jars Quite the opposite, she wasn't allowed weed which is what she's prescribed for her anxiety.
Ganja seems so sweet and pleasant. Wish we could've seen this side of her on the show.
Jasmine Ackridge I know, I love her so much
no matter how bad she was on the show... I will still always like her more than phi phi

You got your 31+ likes. You happy ? Now have several seats :)
lmao, I have no idea what is going on with this conversation anymore...
THAT WIG IS AMAZING!!!! and wow, that mermaid outfit is incredible!! Laganja is super cute right here, dang!!!!
Laganja's little sailor boy outfit at the end is so cute!
So cute when she goes "welcome to my face!"
Can we please talk about the little "Welcome to my face!" at 5:48? It was adorable!
Loved her then, love her even more now. Ganja has grown quite a bit and seems to be more at peace with herself. Props to ya, mama! Always and forever my queen :'3
PLEASE DO ANOTHER ONE WITH LAGANJA MY MOMMA!!! Her makeup skills is a lot better now ♥
I love how clean the base makeup is! Overall, good job Laganja!
I so wish Laganja was more like this on the show. She's so endearing, and more... relatable? She doesn't seem so forced. A little of her extravagant manner is still there, but it's not so overpowering and it's really nice to see. Wishing her an even more successful post-Drag Race career :)

It's like....idk...it makes me happy to see someone who puts so much......love into a conversation
love you boo
Love seeing more Laganja! He's so sweet and chill and loves giving fierce, hoochie mama attitude. I'm into it. And his sense of humor over the whole rupaul debacle is awesome. I never would have guessed. I always loved his aesthetic and talent but now I'm a fan of the guy.
can we talk about how Ganja sounded like she broke her body in that deathdrop?
ganja is so cute and creative and i love her aesthetic. seeing her outside drag race is what made me love her
I LOVE Laganja, he's so adorable out of drag
Wish we had seen more of this on the show. Props to ya mama.
james you are not overweight !! you look fantastic just as you are
I highly doubt he is reading this comments, this video was posted on June 2014, which is over a year ago
+Faith Anne Being overweight and looking fantastic are not mutually exclusive..?
+kitteh131 spill the tea
I like this laganga! and I really liked the transformation!!!
Oh, I love this!!! Really proud of Laganja for moving on from the portrayal on DR, and getting out there. He's really charming here.
THIS is the Laganja I've been wanting to see!
4:09 Her chains hitting the mic sounded like several bones breaking
ikr
I literally thought they added a breaking bones sound effect omf
Ganja looks so refreshed! The way he carries himself even makes him look more handsome. He still has some of his "okkkkayy" but I can take it, it's who he is.
Happy for him and all his new projects
LaGanja is such a sweetie, and that really shows here. A lovely person, truly!
omg the laganga clap at the end I CANTTT (also that look was EVERYTHING GURL)
Its hard not to like the way laganja speaks lol Yass Gawd!
she's a lot cuter here :-( if she had been on rpdr like this i would have love her
Laganja is so charismatic outside of the show. The editors and producers really didn't do her justice.
And I love the Haus of Edwards influence peaking through. She's great.
according to Adore on a FoF podcast, the editors were kind to her in the edit...
She's so relaxed and sweet here. It's nice to get a sense of what she's like without so much biased editing and in a place of less vulnerability.
hes talking about kennedy davenport when he brought up the queen who does the flips and shit lol
I gotta say, I actually really love this look! She seems more herself. She really has come a long way! Yas Laganja!
I'm gonna sound like an awkward preteen girl (I'm not), but Laganja kinda looks like Ryan from High school Musical
I'm such a kid
HOLY SHIT THATS EXACTLY WHAT I SAID
i love Langanja so much, she is just so chill.
Ganja is amazing, idk why a lot of people hate her, she actually is a really cool person,
Omg I love this one. And I love Langanja!!! That Deathdrop was everything
Omg this one was so fun :)
Love it
I have to admit, I didn't like her at all on the show, but to see her admit she wasn't perfect and move on is great. this is the laganja we needed for the show. at this rate with her improvements since the show and her personal growth, I think this queen might be a serious all stars contender. you gained a fan with this video ganja :)
Laganja is so personable in this video, it was so refreshing to watch!
Jay is so so cute. You can see that under the dramatics he's a very sweet, thoughtful and talented person. Bless his heart ❤️❤️
I was never the biggest fan of Laganja, but this video really made me like her more. Plus that look was giving me Mermaid Madame of the brothel, which I loved!!
omg this is the laganja that adore was talking about. a real normal person.
This is really one of the best transformation looks, because unlike 90% of them it actually pulls together into a cohesive look at the end.
Way to go ganj
Ganja is my fave season 6 queen! COME ON TRANSFORMATIONS!!!
3:08
Was she talking about Kennedy Davenport?
OMG!!!! This is amazing!
Good job girl!
I love how much Laganja has grown since drag race, she may still be young but she isn't like annoying or anything anymore and you can obviously tell that Alyssa Edwards is her drag momma like all them damn tongue pops and dem shenanigans
Laganja did a good job with the makeup, and she's just so cute! What an adorable smile :)
I love pie And that's why she would've done well to get to top 3 but Courtney...my god.
When James said 'who's the queen that does that flips on stage in the heels?' He was talking about Kennedy Davenport
I have LIVED for Laganja since I saw her on the revealing of the queens before the season aired. I knew she wasn't just clickity clack and Yes Mama. Everyone was so quick to say that she was a mess and acting a fool, but she said herself she had to detox to be on the show. That's not easy, so Props to ya Mawma!
Loved it soooooooo much! And such a great touch to dress like a sailor. One of the best transformations imo.
THIS Laganja is soooo great!
Soooo who else tried the death drop with her?
Guilty, lol
My fucking elbow hit the floor first. Ugh it hurts lol
you guys got bruises then bless yas :)
hated laganja on the show but have a new perspective of him in these vids!! living for it x
You can definitely see the influence that Alyssa has on Laganja and I’m here for it
I really love how far Laganja has come since drag race and she's actually so sweet and fun, the best part is she can take all that drama from the show into a place of humour
Probably the best transformations episode yet
I love Laganja as a person. Honestly, I wish Logo hadn't made her seem like she was this out of control, emotional wreck. She's so sweet in all reality.
Here lies James St. James
"Welcome to my grave!"
I don´t know, but most of the video made me feel kinda awkward cause James and Laganja seemed like they were about to make out any minute. e_é
Well... now that you said that.
+Victor Thunderfun totally. they flirted quite a bit
this episode made me realise that I actually like Laganja... :)
Glad I watched this.
I love Langanja's outfit at the end, and she was really lovely the whole time!
What if they got Chad sell on transformations and he did his art style on james
laganja's boy outfits are zlways so cute !!
And this is the moment where my love for Laganja has been reborn. YAY.
Langanja is such an all rounder like she's handsome as just Jay and she's absolutely beautiful as laganja. All the change from RUDR to now is really tremendous. I love her. Hail the queen ❤️❤️
YEEESSSSSS MS ESTRANJA!! I loved this transformation but i wish Laganja would have let loose. :( Loved her in season and love her now!
I liked when Laganga was about to apply the foundation to the lips and James said something loud and Laganja got scared lol.
Have adore pleaseeee
omg. when did Laganja get so nice & relatable? Laganj-girl, i like this queen i saw. Live grrl
THIS is the real Laganja, not what they showed on TV. LUV HURR.
For those of you saying she's acting like Alyssa... Alyssa didn't invent those mannerisms, they've been around for ages with queens. So, next argument please.
Just got off the boat you know. Just landed like fresh talapia
This was really fun. And Laganja was surprisingly likable down to earth personable and seems sweet. James St. James is Amaze as usual. Xo's
James St. James is such an engaging host. He should have his own show!
I feel like this was the Ganja that Adore wanted everyone to know and love. She's so sweet and so smart here. Totally diggin it!
Love Laganja! One of the BEST Transformations Yet! #teamGanja4Life
probably one of my favs. laganja was like super chill. james was like stressing out the whole time.... or was that just me?
Glad to see Ganja's real personality come through, I knew there was a calmer/sweeter side we just never got to see it on rpdr. I believe in Alyssa & maybe it's blind loyalty but as her Daughter I really wanna see her do well in the future #DragRaceAllStars2
Ganj did a really good job! It looked really cute :D
So far this might be my favorite transformation! Great job Laganja!1
I ♡ you laganja!!
