Duuuuuude; I saw this video around seven years ago, but nowhere in my memory was this sick OST at the start. ...and it now occurs to me that You Yoshinari and Hiroyuki Okiura animated this same swordsman. Cool.
Funny thing. I took my Ipad out and used the app Shazam and played this video and it quickly identified the song. I also identified a bunch of other songs that played in theIGPX anime.
For those who aren't sure of the real names Haley Joel Osment ( you might know him as Cole Sear (the Sixth Sense kid)) voices Takeshi. Steve Blum (who voices Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop, Mugen from Samurai Champloo and countless other voices in anime and video games) voices Cunningham and the announcer is voice by Tom Kenny (or as you may know him: Spongebob Squarepants).
I may have found the songs used in the igpx episode. including this one. However, to find it, it is a tedious task. The real reason was ratings I believe. It's the same reason why other shows like Gundam Seed and YuYu Hakusho were taken off the block. Swearing had little to do with it since there were already some in prior episodes. I think people underestimate what can or can't air or be edited on Toonami. For instance, Princess Mononoke had beheading and limbs cut off on occasion, but that didn't stop it from airing as part of the "A Month of Miyazaki" back in March, 2006 for Toonami's 9-year Anniversery.

Of course a google search on that yields nothing. And even then, that would have been of no help in identifying the song at the beginning of this video. Still not sure how Shiro did it lol. I've been looking for the music everywhere. I'm pretty sure the orchestral, non-ninja tunes songs are just kind of generic trailer music, since I've heard them in lots of commercials too, like the Michael Bay Verizon commercial.
