Call Phil, Ian, Dave Ford & Pete Hammond. And start to make new 'cheesy' 'bubblegum' pop songs. This sounds better than the original.

The mode and chords are relentlessly dark, and while you can strip away all the ugly backing, there's no getting rid of that irritating "robotic harmony" on the vocal. Maybe 'Padam' might fit a more EDM PWL style like Opus III?
I remember hearing this at a secret listening party in 1990 for leaked tracks from the Kylie 'Shocked' 'What Do I Have to Do?' era by a friend who had connections to the music industry at the time. Baffled why it never made it onto the Rhythm of Love album. It should have been the lead single. So glad it's being heard now though. Still sounds just as good if not even better than it did back then. Thanks for bringing back the memories. Those were the days!

I knew as soon as I heard the premiere of this that you'd have a crack at it pretty quick! For me, this is a more electro-pop style of Kylie with in it's original form has a very hypnotic almost Middle Eastern/Indian sound which is in your head the moment you hear it! It's the key elemnt to the song. So, whilst this mix adds the customary excellent PWL sound if I'm totally honest it kind of takes away that hypnotic sound that I thik makes this track. I'm just being honest becuase if you look back at all my comments of your mixes they are always 5 stars all the way.
