This is great timing. I’m currently working my way through the A path in Knight of Lodis after playing Lawful path in Tactics Ogre: Reborn a couple years back. I really enjoy this character and how far we get to see him change. He easily became my favorite character in TO so it was great to remember he has an entire origin story to play on the GBA. I’m about to make it to the Ostoera Castle battle with Rictor and was able to catch up and know the story in-depth thanks to your videos on Knight of Lodis recently. It’s cool to see this series still relevant and popular all these decades later. Thanks for the videos and the help
That possession theory is fun, I like that. Personally, I think he's sedated due to his eye during Golyat, and that Ozma seems a tad self righteous for how much she looks away at the absolute monstrosities her brother pulls constantly. I think he's always trying to play the bad guy while defusing most situations he comes across, largely similar to Neutral there. He's the player character on a repeat playthrough. Also, B Route KoL is the best ending, and that's just a fact. (Side note, I think their relationship was more trauma bonding and quietly just needing someone there. No big romance, just needing someone to share stuff with. He's fine until he loses Rictor ...and then the magic gypsy isn't his friend ..and the mermaids think he's the worst....shoot, time to go back to the one nice person on this island. She's alone and isolated with an abusive priest caretaker....so he's her escape. They're exactly what each other need. It ain't traditional, but I think it's a believable angle. It always resonated with me growing up, being isolated from friends on the road for a few years, kind of when that sort of clicked.
Thinking about it this way, the "romance" between them makes much more sense and seems much more true! Thank you for making me bite my tongue about this subject hehehe I like the idea of possession too, Shaher proved to be very strong in this regard, even possessing those who did not agree (Rictor)
@WarrenReport ...which immediately makes me think of this one FF uhh...16(?) in a Nutshell video of someone asking for possession over and over until apparently resorting to bribes. Anyhow, it's fun to think about!
For Eleanor is the only reason that makes any real sense. I still stand by my theory that once the empire starts the next Ogre Battle, the gods will be forced to send assistance and one will be Eleanor, who was made an angel after her sacrifice to redeem Shaher. Around the point of the route split in a future game, Eleanor will confront Lanselot and try to redeem him. This will lead to 3 different outcomes depending on the route: Law: Eleanor succeeds and introduces Alphonse Loeher, one of the most wanted men in all of Lodis. He joins with his exclusive Champion of Lodis class and while you can obtain Ambicion in all routes, This route would exclusively allow you to obtain Longicolnis. Neutral: Eleanor succeeds in turning Lanselot against Lodis but will not join the players army and works on his own. He will end up sacrificing himself to kill a demon and protect Eleanor. Chaos: Eleanor fails to turn him for he is consumed by anger at the gods and it ends with him getting angry at her for not agreeing to turn on the gods. He would then at some point turn into a demon. His last words before dying would be Eleanor. If Eleanor is his reason for turning on the gods, i think this is the only way it could end.
IMO Lancelot was trying to take advantage of being called to a foreing conflict on the Valerian Isles he had 2 main objectives: -To kidnap abuna in order to find the true heir to Valeria and use him/her as a proxy to expand the Holy Lodissian Empire, freeing the islands of internal conflict. -To find Brunhild to open the chaos gate and use that power for the Holy Lodissian Empire? perhaps Now all of this was too easy for the best Knight Lodis ever produced BUT on the other side is Lancelot Hamilton to opose you and so it's Denam's army. conflict confirmed.

Thanks! Glad you liked! If it's up to me, Ogre Battle will never be forgotten here!

Lol love how you just throw in some prequel shade for good measure
;-)
Dude!! I was thinking about this after fininshing theTactics Ogre Knight of Lodis Reborn run, great video!!
Thanks friend, glad you liked it!
Great video! Such an amazing character. Hope that someday we can see his history to the end.
Let´s hope!
Pope Sardian is Emperor Palatine and Tartaros is Anakin/Vader.
Who is Luke then?
@@WarrenReport Denam?
Did the old video got taken down or something?
Very well noted! It's just a repost...I had to change one thing or another in the original!
I have my own theory as a long time fan of the entire Ogre Battle series as to what exactly happened to Alphonse to turn him into Tartaros
Speak! Speak woman! We have no time to lose!
I missed the Warren Report intro. Alphone / Lanselot is easily the most influential and controversial person in the TO lore
Me too!
Either you die as a Hero or live long enough to become the Villain.
You speak truth in your words miss
The '' for eleanor '' story makes most sense to me, why else would he turn power hungry and bitter?
Brainwash... especially in the matter of religion, which is the case in Lodis

Dude, you need to write a full script for this story after this idea! Congratulations!
@@WarrenReport Thank you!
Didn't you already make this one?

I think you might be right, good one!
New version?

Shaher was last seen ahorse?
... Or was he the horse?
Good question ⁉️
Yeap

Good luck over there!
Calling the prequel trilogy of Star Wars the new trilogy is based 😂
Hahahaha
