    This video should have more views. It's very well done and it clearly demanded a lot of work to make.
    And sincerely, it makes me wanna go live in that town 🙂

      You used to want to live in that town. Now, not so much. It went from a village I went to for 45 years, to a "resort destination " and everything went from reasonably priced to exorbitant and ridiculous. A little house is a million dollars. I actually heard from this show that Mammoth has 1 million tourists a year.

      Ya I just came across this video! Thought omg it's amazing there! Looked at house prices....... low end $1.6-7mil!!!!!! Seriously?!

    OMG I just realized how much I love you for making me see bears as they are and love them but be wary of their wild ways! I have watched your show so many times but forgot to subscribe and click the thumbs up button but now I have. Thank you so much!

    I’m sitting here laughing off my bed, because of the way he talks to these bears. It’s so funny, because he talks to them like a bunch of teenagers who gets an attitude sometimes!🤣. I love it, even though I know it’s all serious! 😳

    When they talk about the kids after school harassing the Bear in the drainage tube they don't seem bothered that the kids do that every day.almost like they've accepted the kids doing that.. Where's the parenting on teaching the kids not to tease the poor animal, that its not OK and will not be accepted. It always takes something bad to happen before something's done..one day if the kids keep teasing the Bears there's going to be a really bad outcome.. Come on parents, teach your kids and warn them that its bad to tease animals and it can get you killed.

      This exactly. Thank you. I have 4 young kids- first thing we learn besides basic life skills is healthy respect for people and animals. My kids are quiet when we observe animals at wildlife sanctuaries, at the zoo, at National Parks. We keep our distance and shut our mouths, and just watch. I can’t tell you how much it infuriates me to go to a sanctuary or zoo and see people letting their kids bang on glass, yell, throw things, or get too close.

    Steve is a really amazing guy. It's incredible that he can do what he does. It's wonderful that he cares about them as he does. What a great man. I wish everyone cared about wildlife as he does. The cops have a no nonsense attitude towards them. It's good that they can back him up, in case something goes awry. I can't believe how all these bears are all over the place around these people. It's

    • @lydiamcpherson7925
      @lydiamcpherson7925 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's uncanny. It's also frightening. No bear should ever be going into someone's home. That's crazy. He smelled dinner and decided to come right in.... SMH. I sure hope nothing bad ever happens to Steve or any of the people that live there, OR the bears. Steve has quite a unique approach with them. But, these are huge bears. They have their own minds and instinct. I sure hope nothing bad ever happens. Prayers for Steve, the town and the bears. I hope Steve stays healthy for a long time so he can do what he does for a long time. I wonder if Steve remembers the story of Timothy Treadwell..... I hope it doesn't end up like that for him.

    • @marjorjorietillman856
      @marjorjorietillman856 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lydiamcpherson7925 I don’t think it will, because he was in an area where he had NO access to help. And all Treadwell had was a skillet as a weapon. And he usually has his bear spay and his gun and vehicle nearby. Treadwell had absolutely nothing! Lastly, Treadwell was sleeping outside with bears and there’s an extra person on the camera with Steve, and that person probably has a weapon or has access to one!

    I hope your teaching others to do what you do because someday you will not be around to be able to care for the bears. Please teach others the way you do it so they can carry on your work with the bears.

    plant berries in their place and nourish the rivers and water ways with fish, build a carp lake , those fish can be food to keep them away from town.

    Great video but why wasn't the woman with all the bird feeders reprimanded for putting out the dinner bell!? Seriously!! You can hang up bird feeders in bear country. That's a big NO NO!! Also.. I'd have decorative grates on my windows like they do in the city.

    It's really hard to know what to do because these bears are adorable but they are really dangerous and there's been plenty of deaths due to bears not in this area with Steve but in other areas yellow stone actually not that long ago and Alaska but those are the grizzly and polar they are more aggressive for sure. I think population control is very important you know unless on a island where it's essentially just bear habitat. In areas with people unfortunately you don't have a Steve in all those areas it would be great if they did that. Steve you need to teach a class for people all over the world to do what you do in different areas. I think that would save lives of people and bears that are not aggressive and looking at people like happy meals. I think that education could go a long way. So Steve if you read any of the messages or have people that do think about it. Ty for what you do out there God bless 🙏💯 praise Christ Jesus always.

      Grizzlies are man killers ...Black Bears, unless injured , typically move the opposite direction when people are close by...unless there’s food or a cub they’re protecting, they won’t stand their ground! And normally, the humans are at fault for leaving food around!
