yeah its sort of annoying. it would be really easy to simply give a phone or tablet to each judge for these matches that are recording the life totals as the game goes, and have that upload to the camera computers to automatically insert the life totals to the live feed.
But they are talking about how zoo started putting in creatures with bigger butts in to counter act it, plus that deck doesn't have may graveyard interactions any way except Tarm might be smaller. I do understand that Wrath is better because it exiles.
Dr.Wobbuffet its strictly better cause it exiles if they die. not all decks reanimate sure, but wouldnt you rather have Anger just incase you face a reanimate deck?
They're just really not up to date on their Modern knowledge. Randy and Zach know quite a bit about the format, which shows in their commentary (and I obviously like that), but they're by no means experts of the format and always lag behind several months - can't really blame them, a lot of the pros do aswell, especially if they are Standard/Legacy/Limited specalists. For them, Anger is a "brand new, never seen before card", when in reality, it's pretty much a Modern staple ever since Theros came out a few months prior to this Pro Tour to combat Melira Pod (usually out of the sideboard) and was sure to see main deck play with the unbanning of Wild Nacatl. They were also in shock and awe about the "Amulet Deck" (I like to call it Kangaroo as the thread creators over at mtgsalvation did - it refers to the bouncing and the Karoo style lands used), while in reality, that deck had been making waves for at least 5 months at the time of this PT - Dickmann said he has played against it several times and considers it a good match-up, for example. But I don't blame them, it's what makes Modern such an exciting format, imho, that you have so many "old"/returning decks, sometimes with some sweet new tech, aswell as completely new ones like Blue Moon (which I think almost nobody saw coming before this PT),
this Zoo deck can play creatures once in a...
...wait for it...
*blue* moon.
I love this deck so much.
VERY CHEAP TO MAKE (CHEAP FOR MODERN)
Oh my... no. Please no. I'll actually haave to remember that pun. :P Love your videos by the way! :)
This is absolutely fantastic. Blood Moon in that deck? Oh my gosh. Beautiful.
3:25 Shadow of Doubt most likely, also Trickbind and Squelch.
Anyone know David Ochoa's decklist?
wtf, gamingetc puts up ads at the pt? damn didnt know they had that much reach. Play modern there every monday.
Why don't they show the life totals for the "live-look in"?
Because they don't always know them, I think and also they don't know how long they will be watching the side matches.

Teferi in modern, I love these guys.
This comment aged poorly.
A Singaporean went with Blue Moon and is now 5-0 HOT DAMN!
I came for decklists
pussy shit
Why are they talking like Anger of the Gods is such a new card, when its effectively a reprint of slagstorm
Because it also exiles the killed creatures, which is kinda of a big deal.

Blood Moon sucks, it is an enchantment and it dies to removal!
+Breathe1234
such stupid logic
+MrGarruk123 ...its sarcasm
This is hard to watch.
Hard for us to watch, absolutely painful to play against I'd imagine, lol. You prolly know you're dead about 10+ turns before they actually kill you.
