I think we could discuss HMT collecting in 2023/2024 as I feel that is a topic close to our hearts and everyone else in India who loves watches. Also it wasn't easy either. I've bought and seen many nos hmts. Here are my observations,they've immaculate dial and case and hands too but you should get serviced it in local watch store bcz they've been kept unused from a long time. So the jewels,gears and many minute parts remain unused and unwinded also the oil in them gets dried. Also the box you received is original,hmt used to make such boxes. Also when you're buying nos watches online,pls check the batons,hands,scratches on glass,placing of lume dots and movement. Cheers for having your first mechanical watch sir🥂keep loving watches!
Yeah you are right. These watches need to be wound and kept running regularly. This one is working well. However another one i have was old so i have given to my watch repair shop to get serviced.
