If I earn $100k per year, I shouldn’t have 58% tax to pay $58,000 per year to just take home $42,000.
To then have someone who makes $42,000 only pay 38% in tax, to pay $14,000 and taking home $26,000.
It’s simply not fair.
No taxes are fair. They are squabbling over what level of theft is allowed.
I don't find it is fair that as a plumber working hard to make my way in the world, it is my responsibility to pay for the poor choice of others. my money is mine, and if the government would leave me alone, there would be more for charity and not a safe injection sites but rehabilitation like what makes common sense!
