Producers actually orchestrate when the girls get to go talk to the lead. It wasn’t Maria’s fault that Jess didn’t get time, it was the producers fault lol (and they were clearly not giving Jess time just to rile her up).

I couldn't understand why the girls are obsessed with Maria, but then I looked at their ages when it popped up next to their name. Lea is 23 and Jess is 24. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW. Maria is 29, Madina is 31... both mature and well spoken women. These girls are still communicating as their high school selves, brains still not fully developed. Maria is one of my favorites, very intelligent. Hope she goes far.
Yeah, they are! they had the same opportunity as Maria to cut in but did not. So what that she got a rose; Joey needs to spend time with ones that he has a connection and not waste time such as with the one he was with when she cut in. Maria needed to preserve that. Later on Joey, says, WE always have fun. WE always laugh. This is the kind of girl he wants. He made a big mistake eliminating her.

What’s funny is that Jess out of all of them sitting her had the MOST time with Joey that day after her separate paint date with him in which they spent well more than 10 minutes together. She’s triggered by Maria’s existence lol. She absolutely could’ve gotten up to try to talk to him but she felt more justified in confronting Maria with her master Lea sitting a few feet away.

I don’t think Maria is a mean girl. She’s bold and confident and has been super respectful of all of the women until they give her a reason not to be. She’s never wasted her time bad mouthing another girl or tearing them down. She interrupted someone to make sure she got time with him even though she had a rose. So what. I would actually think it’s proof to Joey that Maria is there for him and is being intentional to get time with him regardless.

But she wasn’t in the wrong at all, rose ceremonies are to talk to joey and further their relationship, never before in other seasons has happen that because you have a rose you cant talk to him. Not having seen ANYTHING else of the bachelor, Jess could have stood up but I’ve also been SOOO insecure so I get that side too:( it’s conflicting. But it seems like she was waiting for him to come to her??? And I don’t think that’s how that works.

I haven't watched this season, but just watched 3 clips from it. I love Maria's confidence. He's attracted to her because of that and she's very alluring and charismatic and articulate. Jess is an insecure whiner and doesn't have a chance because she takes no initiative. Maria is the reason I'd jump in midstream and watch the show. She and Joey have mad chemistry.

Whew! Projection is a MF! And that’s what we just saw Jess do! Katelyn didn’t even have a problem w being interrupted by Maria, bc she’s not grappling w insecurity, but of course, Jess being Sydney 3.0, had to insert herself in order to blame Maria for her own inadequacies. Apart from Jess completely losing it out of sheer envy despite having had the MOST time with him outta all of the women that day during her paint date, Rachel does too much talking to Maria for me while pretending to be Switzerland.
Why did she address Maria at the end to seemingly stop her from talking to Jess when Jess got up to leave during her tantrum and was the one in the wrong? She never called Jess out. Rachel has a problem with holding her lil friends accountable and if it something I h8, it’s a bystander.
She did something similar in the previous episode when she made sure to tell Maria what she “thought” aka knew what Lea was outside telling Madina about her having a problem w Medina being nice to Maria, all to make Maria ultimately feel bad and create mess. When Maria asked her if that was a problem, Rachel didn’t answer her, she just shrugged and looked away bc she can’t form her own opinions. Very much high school mentality.
She tries to hide her hands though and choose her words carefully to not make it seem as though she has a problem w Maria when i believe she does due to her being besties with Lea and Jess. Jess Edwards is a native of Erwin, TN. She's in our local newspaper, she's "famous" here...where the paper is printed once a week on Wednesday. I love this town, I married my husband in this town, yet I've come to know so many "pretty girls" from here. She moved to California, instead of finding a nice down home country boy like I did. If you truly loved your home, your background, there are so many good jobs, so many good people and men within a 50 mile radius...yet she's on the bachelor interrupting other women's time? I personally have a hard time meeting and becoming friends with women from this county, as they either are rude, have seven kids with three diff dads, or just simply sleep around. The girl I work with who is a nurse states that Jess was a sleep around type of girl, who initially moved to CA with a boyfriend, then things didn't work out. I don't know her, but I've heard tons of bad stories,and where I live...they don't spin out for nothing, not even jealousy. I hope she wins, but I also know no one is who they seem until about five years in. That's why my husband and I waited six years to marry, and have been together a total of 12....and we are from where Jess is from

She probably had a producer telling her "they are finishing up, go grab him", it happens every year. You could see how apologetic she was about it. Also, imagine yourself falling for someone - wouldn't you want to spend time with them, regardless the situation? I would. I 10000% think she didn't mean anything by it towards the women. She's not there to pet Jess on the back, she's there to get to know this man she might get engaged to.

Just started watching this show and am probably older than most. Trying to be objective, I don’t think Maria is an angel, I don’t think Lea and Sydney are diabolically mean. I think they were trying to make things fair.

I personally dont like any of these women, and I don't think Maria is attractive in any way except her personality. I don't think she's a bad girl or mean, but I wouldn't spend any quality time with her because I think she's beyond weird. That's just me and I have no clue who this man will pick but I hope he's happy no matter what. It takes a lot out of these women and man to do this, and a lot of emotions are in the moment which makes them look shallow. We are all shallow and mean sometimes, and reality TV doesn't help that fact.
