Never played the game but always watched the original gameplay you posted from time to time so it's nice to see you uploaded the remake! Definitely going to buy the game for the switch 👍🏼
With the addition of two new worlds comes 34 new levels: 8 each for the main worlds (16), 7 each for the plus worlds (14), and 4 more Expert levels. And because this doesn't run on a score system like MVDK '04, you can basically speedrun just collecting the presents instead of worrying about the time limit or enemies. A lot has changed with this remake. Moreso with the neglection of the score system. Here are the things present in MVDK '04 that are either not present here or have changed: • Every second left on the clock counts for 100 points each. • The presents count for 10000 points total. Red is worth 2000, yellow is worth 3000, and blue is worth 5000. • Killing an enemy with a hammer is worth 300 points, which doubles and adds up with each successive kill. (300 + 600 + 1200 + 2400 + 4800 + 9600 = 18900 points for 6 enemies killed with the hammer in one sitting) The hammers also don't respawn in MVDK '04, so you had to make sure every single enemy hit with the hammer is meaningful within the short time frame you have after grabbing it. • Throwing enemies into other enemies nets you 600 points for taking them both out. • In MVDK '04, you can actually get stunned from a fall or die by falling from a high place (Mario bangs his head on the ground). This doesn't affect Mario here. • The death animations have mostly changed from the original. • The minimum score you get for beating the MM stages is 11500: 500 each for the T O Y letters for a total of 1500, 1000 each for the first 5 Mini Marios and 5000 for the 6th. • The minimum score you get for clearing a DK stage is 15000: 5000 for DK's defeat, 1000 for each of the first 5 Mini Marios heading into the DK stage, and 5000 for the 6th. If available, any objects that Mario deflects with a handstand is worth 50 points each. And each block destroyed by a Bob-Omb is worth 100 points. • At the end of each level you clear where you get all 3 presents, a bonus game will be played where you can get more lives, up to 99. This can be one of two: Stop the Arrow or Swap Boxes. Two of the boxes will always contain DK's head (no extra lives) and a 1-Up Mushroom. The third box will contain a 2-Up Mushroom, a 3-Up Mushroom, or a 5-Up Mushroom. Stop the Arrow acts like a roulette. Press the A button to stop the arrow over the box you want. For Swap Boxes, Mario has to move the boxes around (by moving left and right when there's 3 boxes and pressing the A button to swap) while getting the prize he doesn't want squashed by DK's fist. • In the MM levels, the box is solid in MVDK '04. You have to jump on top of it and press the B button to lift it and complete the level. Here you can just press the B button when near its detection box.
now this could be a Death Battle see Kong hates Mario so guys make this a brutal harsh fight ok we want blood gutts make it tough as ya like and have fun with this ok .
I don't think GameStop is selling GameCube in 2024. You can buy it online at Amazon or eBay. If you're asking me to buy one, I already have access to GameCube games.
