Steam engines are such a rare sight these days and that Jessica has a beautiful horn. Also the African landscape is so beautiful. I love how well you put this video together. These are the kinds of videos I like to do and this video is a perfect example of that.
Too bad that they didn't give the whistle at the end but it doesn't take away from the video. That is an excellent video and beautiful scenery! In 2017 I want to see more steam. that is my resolution. lol. Great video Reese!!

The driver (engineer) wasn't that friendly...strangely... he worked for the South African Railways (later Spoornet then Transnet) for a long time and now for Ceres Rail. It shows, he loves trains, but that whistle and a wave would have made a big difference!

Reese Lourens Yes, and sometimes in Russia and Bulgaria too. The only true steam activity left in Romania is the narrow gauge that we have in the mountains. I have a video on it (only pictures so it's kinda meh) and I can tell you that it's a very nice place. Also, you can call me Andrew if you want to say it in english.

Very nice that you still have events like this in South Africa. In Europe, such things are very, very rare.
