Fantastic footage, I liked the shots of 3322 from 12:12 on, what a classic image that was. Nice to see that the lines to Prince Alfred Hamlet and Malmesbury are still usable, didn't know what happened with those in recent years with the downfall of branchlines in SA.
Absoluut fantasties! Beautifully filmed record of this excursion. It makes me totally homesick I remember working steam in SA during the’90s I’ve not been back since 2001 - I must address that. PS. Loved the VW Karmann Ghia waiting at the crossing.
Nice memories, especially the scenes from Monday to Malmesbury! We were all stills photographers so this brings the day really tio life!
