Brilliant podcast, love listening to your aspect of the race. Bradley an inspiration, has an earthy view to it all. Love him. In fact you three and Johan are my all time favourites
How many countries in the world do you know where the muslims help build a church and the christians help muslims build a mosque ? That is a norm in Eritrea. Speaking of human rights - yes , there is a lot to improve - but the human rights ranking by the west is just rubbish -- look how they are treating people like cockroaches in the middle east by the same people who feign to uphold human rights.
Good to see Sir Bradley. I met Wiggo chasing the 2010 tour around France. I was doing tech support (repairing wheels) for Highroad and Sky. Talked to him after his coming back from his rest day ride. An adventure of a lifetime!
Wiggins has earned US Citizenship with his time on the sho he should never leave. I’ve always loved the show but not looking forward to the day he’s not on here. Great personality and hilarious.
I don't know if it works logistically for y'all, but can you please keep Sir Brad until the end of the tour. His insight and banter elevates the podcast to another level
Awsome Podcast Lance - Thanks for the great insight and also for have Sir Brad with you this week - very insightful and informative. Question : Give you were such a demon in YdF time trials and Sir Brad is TdF Champ, world and olympic time trial champ; world hour record holder - would really appreciate hearing how on earth you go about preparing for the last day TT given the day before us a horrendous nountaiun stage..... How do you find a way to save your bullets for that day and not fire then all in the mountains the day before :)
Yall make watching the Tour/ recapping so much fun to watch. I almost forgot the road cycming is such a fufu sport. Wiggins certainly add flavor to the show. I can now picture the entire The Move team doing live TdF coverage commentary
You know what the town of Pau is known for? The royal house of Sweden. In the early 1800s, Sweden was without a king. They decided to bring in an outsider, a man reputed to be the real military genius behind Napoleon's conquest of all of Europe: General Bernadotte. Bernadotte was from Pau. His little home there, a two story deal about the size of a modest middle class American home, still stands there as a museum. He became the King of Sweden and to this day his descendants are the royal family of Sweden. Pau! One thing I love about the official French coverage of the Tour de France is that, as the tour passes through different localities, they always take time to tell you something about the people and culture of that area. :)
All the talk of Pog being vulnerable, Pog looking stressed, Pog looking tired.... Jonas this Jonas that Jonas is amazing, God bless Jona's little heart...blah blah blah. Jonas doesn't have Roglic, Kuss, or a 2022-23 Wout. I love Matteo but he is going to pop in the high mtns. Pog is way stronger than he's been in the last 4 years and he has a monster team this year built for the mtns. Pog wins TDF by 2:30min.
Respect for your defiance and prediction, i will go the other way. Not bcuz the podcasters say so but bcuz i think Jonas is the better GC man in grand tours.
Counterpoint- Jonas doesn’t need those guys to win and tadej doesn’t have anyone that can ride as hard as Kuss could. Jonas has already waited until UAE has tuckered themselves out and has been able to respond to every attack tadej has thrown
Time will tell. Tadej is much more enjoyable to watch. If he doesn’t waste energy attacking, eats, and follows Jonas, Pogacar has a great shot at pulling off the double. Both are great champions. To suggest that Jonas is a better grand tour racer than Tadej is absolute nonsense and factually inaccurate. Danish arrogance.
You mean the almighty Ayuso? Or the unstoppable Sivakov? The limitless Adam Yates who is being reduced to serving as bait? Oh no of course Jonas is shivering from the sight of Almeida who is obviously a lot better climber than Rafael Majka ever was😂. It will be a man v man fight as it always has been. Jonas did not win the Tour because of Roglic or Kuss or Wout, he won because he is just better in an attritional three week race with planets of difficult mountain stages. Pogi is the overall best rider in the world, but he is not the best GT rider. If anything UAE is doing Jonas a favor by making the race harder on days like today. By the end of the three weeks Pogi will be again exhausted and all his devoted followers will once again come up with reasons why their deity did not win this year. Unfortunately for Pogi, him and his team seem to be just as convinced by his invincibility as his followers are. Which makes them unable to come up with the right strategies to actually help him beat Jonas.
@@tomshebell8087 When to eat and when not to attack are pro-cycling basics that both he and his team got wrong too often in GT's. Plus Tadej could not follow Jonas these last two years. And you might want to check on your stats, in the GC ranking Vingegaard has been nr 1 these last two years. And i don't really care about your boy crush on Tadej, let's stick to facts instead of who YOU like to watch lol.
There is an Eritrean embassy in London apply for visa and the airtickets are to get to Qatar transit and to Asmara or to dubai and Asmara Sir. Its Easy dear!❤❤❤ proud Eritrean here.
Thought yesterday was a over reaction, as much as Pog burnt matches, Jonas did the exact same to haul him back. UAE have the stronger climbers, Pog wins this
Lance you should visit eritrea when biniam lands there after the tour. You will experience all the love and the celebration that cycling mad nation shows their love to their hero. No celebrities or head of states get such a reception.
Super nice episode, and a lot of good insights Sir Wiggo rocks! Love watching the show. After hearing the question about Vingegaards personality, what came to mind was: Guess George and Lance already know some of the Jutland personality culuture if they remember Mr. Peter Meinert-Nielsen (Georges team mate from 1997-98 and Lance in 1998). From the interviews could they see a comparison to how he would have done interviews if Meinert was in the shoes of Vingegaard?
In 1997 the day before the Time Trial at Euro Disney, Jan Ulrich woke up with a 104 temperature and finished the stage and kept the yellow Jersey. That was a difficult stage through the vosges and Virenque had escaped twice or three times that day
Bjarne Riis had an interesting take on the Pog energy drain on Vingegaard win. The adrenaline rush from his near crash on first descent could have made his body release and burn too much of his stored energy.
The impersonations by Bradley are always hilarious, and if anyone hasn’t seen the interview series with Matt Stevens they are all incredible. on the sigma sports channel.
Abrahamson gained a bunch of weight and got faster. GCN has an interesting interview segment about his early days and training and nutrition. He's the new Thor 😀
Great show guys. Watching from South Africa. Maybe have a discussion on riding with or against different nationalities!!! South African riders? Cheers JP
Tomorrow is the first real test for Evenepoel. It was precisely on stage 13 of last year's Vuelta finishing on top of Col du Tourmalet that he completely imploded. I look forward to seeing how Remco fares against Jonas and Tadej. I wonder who of the two favorites would close the gap if Remco were to attack preemptively, especially if there were no teammates involved.
First: I started watching cycling when Lance made his comeback in 2009(I was 13 at the time)and I’ve been addicted ever since, even though I have never learned how to ride a bike. My question: I didn’t know that the needle ban included IV fluids. With a GI bug going around, how do riders stay hydrated when all liquids and nutrients are being expelled at a higher rate than normal? And what do riders do during the race if their GI bug has more coming out the back end? Do they usually have to abandon or is there an innovative diaper for cyclist?
Love the show as always, however the sprint stages are 50 points at the finish, not 100. It would be nearly impossible for Jasper to take green unless Biniam doesn't finish the race.
I dont rally understand the criticism of pogacars tactics. Its thanks to him that recent editions are so watchable. Unlike the boring editions with froome etc. So what, maybe the first overall cold calculated GC victory isnt the ultimate goal. Instead it is riding with hear, passion and joy which keeps cycling to be so popular these days and that is also a reason why all of us are riding, to have fun.

Brilliant! Sir Bradley..... Fantastic addition!
Best TDF recap show out there. Sir Bradley makes it EPIC!
Brilliant podcast, love listening to your aspect of the race. Bradley an inspiration, has an earthy view to it all. Love him. In fact you three and Johan are my all time favourites
Armstrong , We love you from Eritrea,a country of tolerance!❤❤❤❤❤
It is? I heard alot of Christians suffer persecution there.
Isn't Eritrea one of the lowest countries in the world on the human freedom index and human rights watch?
😂
How many countries in the world do you know where the muslims help build a church and the christians help muslims build a mosque ?
That is a norm in Eritrea.

Love this. Can’t believe only just started watching. Love the chemistry of the guys. And the insight of the tour
I didn't know Wiggins was this funny man ahahaha he cracks me up every show
haha right? isn't he awesome!??
I watch the adverts because Lance delivers them like an absolute BOSS- which is damn inspiring in and of itself-
Wiggins, great addition! This show gets better and better.
Wiggins has earned US Citizenship with his time on the sho he should never leave. I’ve always loved the show but not looking forward to the day he’s not on here. Great personality and hilarious.
Lance is totally unique in a good way!! I’d say he was an animal in his youth !! Totally got the X factor 👌👌👌
I don't know if it works logistically for y'all, but can you please keep Sir Brad until the end of the tour. His insight and banter elevates the podcast to another level
This years TDF coverage has been on 🔥
Great show with a happy ending.....😆
That impersonation of George was class 😂😂😂
Wiggo should be on all these from now on he adds a touch of class. 🏴
where the hell you get a TDF commentating with a stand up comedy ?????? Nowhere .....foooookin love it !!!!
Pogi all the way 🇸🇮
Must watch every day! And do not skip the commercials!
I have a couple of Bradley Wiggins books and they quite interesting. I highly recommend "Icons", good reading during summer.
Better give Wiggo the permanent contract he's carrying you boys hard

Up there on The Tourmalet 2012, that is one TOUGH climb btw
Had to go back and watch stage 15 of '05 tour. Got chills and remember it like it was yesterday. What an awesome day for you Sir Hincapie!
i would pay a LOT of money to have been there in person.

Girmay looks good for green now. Was actually tipped up last year.
Lance - please have Sir Wiggo join the MOVE
Funny AF, 😂 and factual … Sir Wiggo needs to be a permanent fixture, the three person format works so well with you guys.
Keep Sir Wiggo or start a 10 min spin off pod with him analyzing the stage just as he used to do in the tour moto 🏍️
Yates is doing well, also Ben Healy FAIR DUES

Why is Poge up in front and almost in the sprint at the end? This kid really has no tactical cycling sense!
That was awesome!! George go faster lol.
I remember that tour.
Great show tonight. Proper laugh out loud stuff. Look forward to watching Wedu as much as the Tour stage itself.

Lance can Roka not make with your prescription?
It's VingeGARD (if you can't pronounce Å) not VingeGO - that's just weird
Hmm, everybody seemed ready to write Pogacar off after Jonas took Stage 11. The psychological blow and all that. Looks like we still have a game.
Shared on WAF & 'Lance'..

Hahahaha! Better every day boys😂
Just get prescription lenses Lance for your Roka sunglasses🤷🏻♂️
Pogacar was not alone in the Xwind..... he had his nr2 with him....
Btw, "Jutland" is pronounced "yutland", like most European languages except from English and french for example, J is pronounced as Y in English.
