She should be fired. It doesn't stop to amaze me how that shit crazy these advisors are especially in community colleges. I had one like this back in the days of dsl. Which was the early 2000s. I wish I had a camera phone then. I was complaining about a horrible math teacher who embarrassed me in class and told everyone in front me did It class I was failing and should drop out. I told my advisor about it. And she said "well u know there are people (assholes) like that all over the world, u just have to deal with it." I told the Dean of the community college about it and they did nothing!! I WISH I HAD A CAMERA PHONE BACK IN THOSE DAYS!!

Since this was a college campus, I'd bet it's actually radical feminism, not racism.
I couldn't tell you on whether this adviser is actually a racist or not and I have doubts on whether race may've had anything to do with it. According to other reports this person had an attitude with a variety of people from all genders and races meaning that her quality of service is possibly in question.
This is an ongoing thing at most universities. People have put teachers, professors, and college employees on a pedestal and they now think they can do whatever they want.
To that I remind people, those who can do, DO, those who cannot TEACH.
She needs to be fired because she is no advisor. A real advisor is positive and helpful.

I have worked as an advisor/counselor at a university and I admit that some students are pains in the a**. But they are your bread and butter. You never call security unless they are a threat to themselves or others. Clearly this guy wasn't.
She was harassing him and he should sue the advisor and the school.

This young man acted like a gentleman, that so called "counselor" is a horrible example of a professional. It seems to me that a lot of people don't want to really work, she's getting PAID! Bad attitudes are everywhere, and I really believe that she wanted this to escalate into him getting arrested, or worse. Thank God he is all right.

There is one more thing that everyone recording needs to be doing that I never hear anyone address. Everyone needs to know how to send those recordings to their own or someone else's email, post it to Facebook, etc. fast, super fast, so it can't be deleted by cops or whoever if you lose possession of the phone. Better yet, when possible, stream it live so it gets out there on the net. We all know that when something gets out there, it can never be taken back. Just don't let those you are recording know that it's a live stream, or they are gonna do everything they can to shutdown that recording, no matter what it takes!
