    Australia and NZ wages were much the same until His Government destroyed the NZ Unions.
    Our pay went south, Australia's went north, and here We are today.

    A somewhat underrated Prime Minister who faced challenges at every turn.
    Looking at the protests of 1991-93, they were much more confrontational than the current events. If Jim survived a term of turbulence only to secure another 2, Chris Luxton has nothing to worry about come 2026.

    He was always a contradiction. A genuine caring person and politician who oversaw some of the worst policies of any government since Muldoon. Unfortunately for him the policies resonate far louder through history than his personality
