Fun fact buster( guitarist) of hlb mixes a bass amp with a lot of gain with his main amp to get a thicker string sound/ twang out of the low end where you want it’s crazy and sounds insane
Not to mention he's using a 8 string with that last 8th bass string and EQ'd so it doesn't sound like flappy ass! Part of Vildjharta and HLB success is the clarity of 8strings that buster mixes so the 8th string sounds tight / not flappy.

He strings his guitar weird, he's a lefty playing left-handed guitar like its a right handed flipped around. The other guitarist plays it normally.
so guitar isn't strung upside down it's a left handed guitar
it is strung upside down. Buster plays what you imagine a regular right handed guitar but switch it on the left without restringing it so your 6 string would where 1 should be
