Omg omg yessss!!!!!! Thank you for speaking about these folks! It helps us remember them and also to keep an eye out if we ever do go hiking in those areas. These poor souls, may the find peace.
Thank you for reporting on these missing people, who simply want to hike and enjoy the amazing outdoors. We pray for their loved ones, and their sad and tragic losses. 🙏🏼❤️😔
This has always been one of my favorite channels. He shows so much respect for those who got lost and much respect for the families. Good job Rusty.I Look forward to the next one
Every time I hear Kevin MacLeod's Long Road Ahead at the end and the pictures of the missing hikers it brings a lump to my throat. Excellent work Rusty and a voice for these sad missing folk, thank you.
Thank you Rusty. I get excited when you post, it’s strange in away too. I pray for the missing people and their families. I adore your voice and content
@@philtripe Definitely possible...but youd think that the husband would've heard something. Sound can easily travel a quarter mile. Maybe a scream, or a gunshot. Or youd think there would be blood or some kind of evidence of a struggle.
Those wolves are on the increase . They have been for quite a while now. There's a few Vets living out there as well that cannot handle society. They suffer from PTSD. It's all top secret stuff. They take the shoes or boots for obvious reasons. Mentally ill but highly trained in jungle warfare.
@Jennifer 6strings I actually believe that not every veteran that is homeless living on city streets actually does live on city streets. There's thousands of homeless veterans throughout America. Many of them have PTSD and other mental illnesses. They are trained soldiers with total knowledge of jungle warfare and abduction techniques. The boots and shoes are often missing in many cases while in other cases the clothing is folded in a neat pile. While certain articles of clothing are never found. If it fits...wear it. People have been located after walking many miles with no skin on their feet due to being forced to walk these distances without boots. People also vanish during winter because these elite soldiers will eat anything that walks moreso if they have mental illnesses and they are thrill kill cannibals. This is just my observation and guess work. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this is happening. Mountain lions and wolves will also prey on the elderly no problem. They know these people are elderly in their domain.
Hunter. I was thinking the same. It is like something watches and waits, not with all the missing, but some. I would always make sure I was never alone on these hikes.
For those wondering, how a person can get lost in a very small area, well, I have been an avid hiker myself and have been helping with ultra trail races in my small home country for years, generally, there is no place in the woods in our country further than 5 - 6 miles from civilization, yet I managed to get utterly lost in an area very well known to me, some 1 mile from the nearest village. It was in the evening, darkness started to fall, just have taken a wrong turn somewhere and all of the sudden I had no clue where I was. Fortunately, I had my sleeping bag and a bivak bag with me, which I carry exactly for a case like this, it was a warm summer night, so I just stayed where I was overnight in order no to get lost even more. In the morning, within 40 minutes, I was back in civilization and we had a good laugh at it. BTW, If you go hiking in these huge and remote areas, get a personal rescue beacon, they send an SOS signal and your gos position and even can be tracked without you sending the SOS signal, if someone else knows its ID. Some of these US national parks are about the size of 1/4th of my entire country with no civilization for miles and miles on, if you wonder in a wrong direction, you will be forever lost
Absolutely right. I do a fair amount of summer hiking in the northeast, and if you wander even a few feet off the trail in a small park it's easy to get disorientated and not be able to find your way back to the trail. And the fact that the tree canopy hides the sun makes it difficult to use the sun as a directional guide. I've found my way out using a map and compass--always carry them, and a flashlight.
You're so right! It's extremely easy for someone to get turned around in a familiar area! If you're ever lost, hug a tree and stay put! Always carry the hiking essentials, an InReach, and some sort of protection! I too have my backpack prepared for emergencies; sleeping bag, 4 days worth of food (dehydrated food barely weighs anything), water filter, rain poncho, emergency blankets, extra socks, etc...
He steals all this research form canam missing project by David Paulides - this guy is a fake and just gets Dave’s endless research and just narrates it - what a thief
I’ve read all of David Paulide’s books, seen both documentaries and I watch his YT videos. I don’t feel like Rusty West is stealing the information and he has some I’ve never heard about before.
Don’t be first, don’t be last, don’t stop to take pictures, crickey I am staying home! National Parks have a way of disappearing people I don’t feel in a hurry to experience.
@C-Ann W who will grab them? And why do you think the governments involved,I'm not being sarcastic either I'm just really interested in everyone's veiws on this subject!!
Don’t let these stories keep you away from nature. The chances of you going missing are extremely low. If you’re careful, respect the environment and go in prepared you’ll be just fine.
Thank you Rusty. I can't help but believe you have already saved lives with your efforts and either made folks think twice about going into the parks and wilderness or made them safer by carrying a weapon and/or GPS device. Thank you for what you do. There's only one Rusty West!
Rusty, thank you so much for these recent updates. It is all very eerie. I totally agree that it is wise to have someone with you on these types of adventures... the poor missing people and their families
Rusty, there was a guy that was just found alive in the grand canyon after being missing for 2 weeks. It said it was unclear what happened during the time he was missing.
@C-Ann W According to reports he was doing one of the most difficult hikes in the canyon. Lots of rock scree, scrambling and washes. He medically cleared once they brought him to the canyon rim. There had been snow and rain for 3 days during the time he was missing, and he was found sheltered under a rock ledge, the same place he was when hikers encountered him the day before. He may have been suffering from hypothermia and staying sheltered to dry off and stay warm.
@amy benje At least not after the encounter. He dosnt seem to want to talk about what happened so we wont know unless the hikers speak up, or he decides have an interview or write a book.
I like how most of these are like "they went missing, they searched, still missing", but i can't stop watching. It's amazing how quickly you can get lost. I spent nearly an hour off trail on a simple hike at Zion. Just failed to pay attention for a second, took a wrong turn, continued for a bit then turned around to see i was in the middle of the woods with no sign of the trail. I was totally unprepared because it was a quick 1 mile out-and-back trail that was rated moderate, when I had done a 15-mile hike the day before. There was nothing difficult about this trail, i just let my mind wander for a bit and it was that simple to get lost. Now I don't go on trail without my locator beacon and offline maps, even if it's just a quick little hike near a road. If i start after like 2pm, I take simple shelter so that I can wait it out if i'm not back by dark.
You are right it is very easy to get lost and to get lost very quickly. And then panic will set in and you lose all your energy. Then you can’t think straight and you make mistakes. I spend a lot of time outdoors, it has happened to me. I had to stop, gain my composure and concentrate on what I needed to do. Really, the only way you learn how to react is to get lost. For many, when this happens they don’t survive.
Thanks Rusty. You notice how when a person goes missing in these national forests when search & rescue goes in to look for the individual the weather all of a sudden gets real bad in that area where they have to halt the search. It seems like it happens on around 80-85% of these cases.
I think Man can control the weather either with technology or with spiritual means. I honestly think someone is manipulating the weather to clear their own tracks.
@@H1Hummer If the search and rescue teams had a open mind concerning weather manipulation then they would not have to cancel their parties so quickly. The moment the weather changes is their chance to find vital clues of a missing person. Canceling the search is letting the bad guy get away if its not a natural cause.
Happy New year, Rusty! Thank you for doing the Sree case his son has tons of faith hoping he's stuck somewhere as he was very well trained maybe he will be found alive, we can only hope.
Within 6 months apart when James Pruitt went missing there was 3 more went missing just like he did in the same place. This is recent as well 2018 - 2019.
You may be correct about the parks being hunting grounds for food. That's why no traces are being found. But the cause is probably giants (the Nephilim) as orginally recorded in Genesis Chapter 6. They were cannibals. An example of this can be found with the ancient missing Anasazi Indian tribe who were neighbors of the Navajo. They witnessed an incursion of giants who arrived through spiral portal/gateways near to their homes. These giants started eating the Anasazi so they moved their dwellings high up on the cliffs for safety. You can view these cliff dwellings today and see the petroglyphs the Anasazi left behind showing the arrival of the giants and the feasts they made of their people. Unfortunately they had to come down from the cliff to hunt for food and that's when the giants got them. Eventually the neighboring Navajo went to check on them and found all the Anasazi missing or cannibalized. Today tribal shaman say these giants will be returning again soon. I think they never left, they just hide in the wilderness areas. See attached detailed account of the Anasazi. legends.atavist.com/the-anasazi-legend-where-did-they-go Sasquatch may be hiding there as well. I believe the bigfoot are related to the Nephilim but are a more animal like hybrid. The Nephilim were the hybrid offspring of fallen angels and humans that lived before Noah's flood and also after. These giants were the reason for the flood. They were incredibly strong, had 6 fingers and 6 toes, were cannibals and traveled via portals/gateways which are located all over the world. For a more recent encounter Google the Kandahar Giant of Afghanistan. A group of military specialists were on a mission when they suddenly disappeared, no distress call was given. Another group was sent to find them. When they reached the last known coordinates they were attacked by a giant who was living in a nearby cave. He skewered one soldier on his lance while they fired everything the had into his body, which did not even slow him down. Their superiors told them to fire headshots only and that finally killed the giant. In the Bible David killed Goliath ( a giant with 6 fingers & 6 toes) with a headshot guided by God. How did the superiors know to do this? The bones of the missing troops were scattered all around him. He had eaten all of them. The body was transported back to the US where current status is unknown or information is blocked. Eyewitness accounts said he was a man 13 foot tall, 6 fingers and 6 toes, bright red hair and beard, and weighed 1600 pounds. You can still find some of the old interviews on TH-cam, check out L. A. Marzulli. There is a newly released documentary from Steve Quayle and Chuck Missler called "THE DISTANT THUNDERS, " which discusses the Nephilim giants, the alien/UFO agenda and great deception (aliens are not extraterrestrial but are interdimensional), the 10 existing dimensions, the coming two witnesses, our holographic universe and much more. There is reason the US just created the new SPACE FORCE. Watch teaser trailer here. You can also find at stevequayle.com. th-cam.com/video/gv2Kw7qvhSc/w-d-xo.html

He steals all his info from canam msissing project by the guy who actually researches this and has spent his life doing so - I would unsubscribe from this channel and find Dave Paulides - he is the true hero - this Rusty idiot just takes all his info and regurgitates it - what a loser
#7...the Rick Raymond Eastep case....seems like he fell to the coast line....back injury... couldn't move above tide line.....high tide pulled him out to sea I think.
Not entirely impossible, but suppositions like this always seem to completely disregard the subject and their care for their own safety. Sure, people do really dumb stuff, and sure, the Lost Coast Trail has some very watery spots, but I haven't known hikers to be thrill seekers, or people who do things before thinking it through. .... inexperienced people who try to through hike the PCT first go, maybe, but all that aside. It's an idea you have, but an idea in a place where no one needs one. Everyone in snow country was buried by snow then? the lady in the desert was carried off by coyotes or no, fell into a cave no one knows is there? .... we can use your same method to explain away every lost person case, and keep in mind - Rusty's top 10 videos aren't exactly detailed accounts - there could be more info. My question is why would you try to explain that someone who went missing was careless or totally naive - while presenting no facts from the case yourself?
well actually there are a few places on the Lost Coast Trail that dip below the high tide line. if one went past a certain point and got stuck by the rising tide they may have to chance a water crossing to avoid being stuck after dark. one sneaker wave or slip on a mossy rock and your crab food. this stuff happens on the Northern Cal and Oregon coast's fairly often.
Ty Rusty for sharing your videos and time and information with us ALL. Watched full video. Well done in honour of the missing but not forgotten. Happy 2020 to ALL
As you stated at the end of the video Rusty: NEVER hike alone. In this information age and all of these missing people still mounting in numbers, it blows my mind how so many people still seem to think "it can't happen to me" as they insist on going alone, or separating from their group. Many missing people who were hiking with a partner, family, or group, disappeared ONLY YARDS AWAY from the rest, and some in only a matter of seconds. It's downright scary, and folks need to wise up.
@@nicholaswilliams4336 I'm assuming you're talking about the extremely large birds of prey ( related to eagles, hawks, etc ) that many folks have witnessed, that modern science claims "doesn't exist". Personally, I believe that many of these witnesses to giant birds with wingspans of 8 to 16 feet are telling the truth. And of course, they are indeed known as "Thunderbirds". Several Indian tribes have the age old stories. If a large eagle or hawk can swoop down to pick up a small child, which has happened a few times ( it's very common for eagles, hawks, and large owls to swoop & pick up small dogs, they even have small deer being swooped up on video! ).......I could certainly believe that a Thunderbird could attack a human weighing less than 160 lbs. What else can explain such a sudden disappearance.......one second they were right there, now they're gone without a trace........no tracks, no signs of s struggle. I also believe Sasquatch and/or some other cryptid (such as "Dogman" ) may be taking many of these victims. On the subject of "Dogman".......I used to think that was total bunk. Not anymore. Noted Sasquatch researcher Scott Carpenter didn't believe in Dogman either. That is, until he wound up seeing one with his own eyes, hanging off the side of a tree, and only 30 to 40 ft away, just staring him right in the eye. Scott stated he was so terrified, he pulled his pistol and slowly backed out of the area. He has documented footprints and SEVERAL VIDEOS/IMAGES of Dogmen!!! These videos are shocking......especially the video showing a Dogman crouched only several feet behind him, with an even stranger "alien" looking entity perched on it's shoulder.......you can literally see both creatures moving in the video, I kid you not!!! ( Scott was using a method he calls "backtrail camera", where he always mounted a camera on his shoulder facing backwards, with a gymbal device to stabilize the camera/video footage. This method is what enabled Scott to capture many videos/images of Sasquatch and Dogman. They always peek out at people when their back is turned. ) Check out his video entitled: "The Dogmen are real". This is a long video, very disturbing, and should convince even some of the toughest critics.
Thunderbirds are in fact related to Crows, DNA Might tell us something different, they might be an offshoot of Teratorns. They are all sorts of sizes not all of them are giants, but the giant ones are very impressive ( w/spans up to 60 feet ) and like all birds of prey, they fold their wings, drop like a stone, snatch a grown person and fly away with their prey in complete silence, gone in the blink of an eye... You Wanna see one ? Have a look at the Crosby Grace Travel Guide for 1st time visitors to Yosemite National Park... look closely right at the beginning, talk about 20 foot wingspan ?
The recurring patterns bout Thunderbird attacks are always a person going ahead of a group or falling behind, its like the birds are watching groups of people thruout the forest, just waiting for that moment of separation, when someone goes out of sight of the others or people that are injured, elderly and slow, children or just about anyone on their own that they can surprise from behind... think of Lions on the Serengeti.. thinning the herd
People never cry out cos they’re unconscious straight away, but not dead... they actually wake up in the Thunderbirds giant nest. The bird realises it’s prey has little chance of escape so it doesn’t have to kill it straight away. The humans cries for help are futile, carried on the wind and if heard by people on the ground cos they can’t determine where the noise is coming from, they assume the person is stuck in another dimension
I really hate to say this, but I think the answer is in your description. National Park. I have lived in various wilderness areas for 35 years of my 60 years on this earth. I have experienced what I would call paranormal situations 4 times. All 4 times have been on National Park managed lands, and I don't have words to explain the experiences except that it is an overwhelming feeling of fear and dread. Over the years I realize there is a lot more out there than we can see, and I try not to draw any correlations. But I would say it is a strong energy and it really fills you with fear and kicks in a solid fight or flight. Only, it's nothing you can see. The last one was about 20 years ago. I was camped way outside of the National park in the Glacier Peak wilderness. Only things out there besides me were black bear, wolves, and coyotes. One morning I get up and there is a beautiful black lab at my tent door, curled up and sleeping. I got up, made breakfast for both him and me. It was fall and it was pretty cold. I was camped about 24 miles from my car which was at the very end of an old logging road. The dog had a collar with the park ranger tag on it so I knew where he belonged but I wasn't prepared to hike out that day. He and I just hung out, fished, got fire wood, and went about our day. It was really cold that night so I let him in the tent and he just laid down next to me and slept all night. We got up early and I told him we have a long day because I need to get him back home. I didn't break camp, I just fixed up a backpack with survival gear and food and water. We made the hike to the car and then the 30 mile drive to the Park service station, which was closed by then. So we walked to the service housing and I immediately got that feeling, I looked at him and he was pulling away from the rope I used as a lead. The closer we got, the worse I felt and the more he struggled. I should have just turned around and went back. But I figured he was a very valuable dog and he belonged to someone that loved him. I started knocking on doors and finally someone came out that knew who owned him. The guy didn't seem really happy to be reunited and I had a bad feeling. But I turned the dog over. I got back in my car and drove all the way back, but couldn't make it to camp based on the time. So I slept in the car and hiked back in the following morning. I got back to camp around 4:30 in the afternoon and guess what? The lab was sitting there in front of the tent waiting for me. So he became my dog from that point on. I truly believe there is some real evil within National Park services, but I don't have any backing evidence. But I also believe there are forest energies that fight this, just not in a way we can understand.
Wow Michael that sure is creepy I would have been so scared being there alone. You are so sweet and kind taking care of the dog and bringing him home I'm so glad that both of you are safe. I don't think I will ever go to the parks anything can happen its so terrifying.
As usual excellent rusty. I hope maybe someday one of your videos could help in some way to find some of these poor folks . Keep it up Rusty and Happy New Year.
Stephen sou.. Mt Washington is the tallest peak east of the Rockies. It holds records for the highest winds ever recorded on Earth. Above the tree line, the walking is very difficult. The trail is mostly stone so there is no worn path to follow in many areas. Small piles of boulders mark the path at close intervals. I've been on the mountain when the visibility was so low we would squat at a marker and look in every direction trying to find the next marker. Repeating this over and over. Sometimes we would use whistles to find people in our group that were only a few yards a way but obscured by the weather and fog. The idea that someone would lose the path, go missing, and not be found does not surprise me in any way.
OMG...I couldn't find my boyfriend and his brother from the evening to the next morning at 8:30 am. I was frantic...!! They had hiked down to the ocean and never came back up. I yelled and screamed and honked my horn ALL NIGHT LONG...!!! I called the Park ranger then 1 hour later here comes a park ranger with the 2 of them in the back seat...OMG I was so relieved and happy... 🐳😱🌺
You were relieved and happy? I wouldve been pissed off they left me all night alone. Especially to leave a woman al night alone? What a selfish scumbag your boyfriend was
Exploring the Unknown: mistakes can be forgiven. Forgiveness is part of a relationship. As long as the person isn't planning to continue the offending behavior
What blows my mind is: the dogs can never track the person lost, most animals are afraid of ppl, plus if animal attack there would be shoes, clothes etc left, animals would leave this stuff where they lay. Always bad weather moves in durning the search...... GREAT JOB RUSTY !!!!
Why is that search and rescue people never suddenly disappear or vanish without a trace while looking for these people? I mean they go out searching for days, sometimes weeks-and you never hear any of them disappearing and vanishing to never be found. Doesn't make any sense. Maybe this could be a clue.
Never go hiking alone. Never leave your party. Stick together. Rusty, you have the most amazing voice and the way you phrase things in your videos is very dramatic. The music is dramatic too. The story sounds very dramatic too. It makes me feel really sad about those missing. 🌹🌿🙏😥.
Wow, the woman that went missing within .25 OF A MILE from her husband just breaks my heart! Especially out in the Mojave desert where there isn’t even thick or dense brush. It just makes no sense. How sad :(
Re: the term "recovery" is used when retrieving a deceased victim. It is incorrect and presumptive to state that after only "several days" that the SAR Team was now conducting a recovery effort, when missing hikers have been found alive after more than two weeks. FYI.
*just some tips for the hikers who likes to scare themselves before hiking by watching these videos!* if you ever find yourself lost, *never* continue to wander. stay exactly where you are when you notice you are lost. *always carry a six foot rope.* in case you need to move from the spot you are in to maybe sleep or avoid predators tie that rope to a tree & hide yourself. also can be used for climbing & repelling! *always tell family and friends your plans so you can get recused in case of becoming lost* even if you’ll just be gone for 30 minutes. you never know what life has in store for those 30 minutes. play it safe. tell someone even if it’s a gas station clerk by the trail you intend on hiking. if you find yourself to have fallen and are hurt for this *glow stick(s).* as silly as it sounds but it could literally be the only thing someone sees. it could the difference between them overlooking your body. dead or alive. always, *ALWAYS* carry an extra 20 ounce bottle of water & at least a few snack bars. *never go out without checking the weather!* also know that bears *can* climb trees. know your animals and learn what they can and cannot do in case you encounter one in the wild! *learn about the plant life* this is so important if you’ve run out of food! learn what is edible, what is poisonous, & what can cause rashes/heal. & *always carry some form of protection.* whether it’s a knife or a gun. if you carry a gun, bring enough ammo to fend off large groups of wild predators. stay safe & stay rusty y’all. 🖤🤍
The lost persons cases are chilling listenings. Espescialy those who disapear without a trace. Its a big mystery what happend to them, the reason can be almost everything. Something or someone hit them and prevented them from going back. Whatever reason. People disapear in Norway too, but its not connected to crimes. Rather to homicide or suicide.
Rusty, How I love ❤️ ur voice! Soothing yet so unique as to never tire of hearing it! TBH, I wonder what u 👀 like: whence such a voice comes... I picture u as a strong, friendly 🐻 like in Goldilocks & the 3 Bears! (Er, am I even close?) Lol Btw that was a compliment. Thank you so much for all your hard work to make these stellar vids.
This music is so depressing. I'm a survivor of this setup. The spirit world interacts viciously with us now more than ever before. Do not go into the wilderness if you are seriously depressed.
I went into the snow peak area of northern Idaho twice. Once in 2006 and then again in 2016.The first time in I took 2 back packs in one full of dried food one with clothes. Being toward the end of May there was still a lot of snow on the ground so I had to pack my gear in.The next morning I took enough rations out of my food pack then climbed a tree and hung it out on a limb because of bears. The distance to the sawtooth campground from there is about 12 miles . so i got there stayed the night ,next day went back and before I got back it was pouring down rain and my pack was gone no trash around nothing but a perfectly built mound of my granola about 7 pounds worth piled up in a perfect pile I mean with a point on top. But saturated and like oatmeal. The funny thing there is I had it in 3 separate bags. So I stood under the tree that night because of the rain. Next day the rain had stopped. I took off my rain poncho laid it on the ground and tried to sleep and something for the next 2 hours or so would start screaming at me.I don't know what they where but small critters of some sort coming from all sides a very loud shrill like scream. I was to tired to chase after them to see what they were. I did finally make it into the little north fork of the Clearwater river which was a nother 8 miles from sawtooth. Both times when I packed into this river, at night I could here music coming from the river. This would happen when I would lay down and be the voice of a woman. Trip number 2 I was moving my stuff in a different way along the river. Where I set up my first camp was at the spotted loui creek. The second camp was at canyon creek. I went in with a lot of food in five gallon buckets because I was going to stay for 6 weeks looking for elk antlers. To shorten this story on one of my trips back to spotted loui from canyon, I got to camp and there was three separate forked sticks stuck in the ground around my campfire spot 8 inches tall at most. They were an eighth of an inch in diameter at best . I thought for sure someone was playing a joke. I pulled them out and looked at them noticed they had been sharpened to a point on the end that was stuck in the ground . I set them behind where I was sitting got up to get something out of my food bucket. And when I went to look at them again they were gone. Then all hell broke out up toward spotted loui trail sounded like 2 trees being beat together. This went on for five minutes or so. I just stayed in camp. I don't carry weapons but a knife and an axe.Another weird thing is I bought a wind up flashlight that has a radio built in as well. But the radio never worked but that night it did(i was allways messing with it to try to get it to work) and all I could get was a basketball playoff game when the game was over the radio died again and to this day it still doesn't work. Thats my story of weirdness in the wilderness. Take care.
@@maureenanderson4272 I feel super human like in spirit when I go hiking. Not mean just super duper. I walked upon a bear once that was sleeping under a tree. He woke up and looked at me for a second then took off. That time I did feel a little scared. Goodbye.
I hike Big Bend park in Texas. I am so careful to the extreme. But even then, my attention lapsed and I got lost temporarily. I was near dusk and I was scared. Lost for over an hour. The only thing that saved me was that I had stuck to staying on well traveled trails and was eventually able to backtrack my way to my camp.
Sad, and our condolences to the families. We were lucky. When my nephew went missing, his body was found three days later. We know what happened, and I can relate to the desperation of having a lost family member. Thank you, Rusty, your delivery rings with respect for them all. Well done, as always. 2020 should be the year of seeing clearly. Maybe some of them will be found this year and ease some burdens.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I am glad that your family was able to find your nephew and learn of what happened to him though. At least getting closure has got to be better than never knowing what happened.
Rusty, I liked when said in the beginning Outdoorsman and hiker enthusiast continue to go missing this shows that no one is exempt. A fully experienced Hunter or explorer can't face the odds of not going missing unless they are rejected by the force that is taking them.
ALONE!!! Don't dumbass hike alone; a common sense. "Oh; i'm going for a hike alone and be back a couple hours later' ...I'd never let anyone I'm with go hike alone!

Glad to see your back Rusty. Missed you.. but it seems to me to go hiking in the national parks, need a permit which requires your intentions, and safety stuff. Like flares a tracking device.. etc.fire kit, water, and signal whistles. Before your issued you permit.and protien bars, light weight dehydrated foods.bear spray and weapon of sorts. Just saying.why, because it takes lots of manpower etc to look for hikers lost it injured..
All these cases are so recent, which makes me realize that people, in good health and with hiking experience, go missing all the time. Excellent video, Rusty. And in the event that news of these hikers surfaces, please let us know.
Yeeehaaaawww thanks Rusty been waiting to see you upload a new video I been filling the void by rerun's of your ol' Videos. I'm not complanning mind you it's just nice to see your new videos. Cheers
If these people were attacked and killed by known predators, you would find ripped up clothing not far from where they disappeared. Clothing is not usually consumed along with the body. It is a leftover that should be easily sniffed out by those sniffer dogs.🤔
People think people have only been going missing for the last hundred years but people have been going missing for thousands of years. Aliens use teleportation technology and they are beamed up to a cloaked ship and this is why people vanish so quickly and why dogs can’t find any scent. Search and Rescue never look in the mountains only up it and around it. This is also how young kids are found along way out with clean footwear. The only way people would know there are cloaked shuttles in the area is if there is a mechanical problem with the shuttle. National parks are feeding grounds for different aliens some eat the human body or some take our souls. Humans are also taken to sell as slaves in space and fellow humans sell humans in space.
Done it alone since I was in my teens. No issues, ever. Always prepared. Camped alone too, no Bigfoot, or aliens. If I think it will be a dangerous trail, I move on.
Hard to accept that even in these well traveled very familiar not very remote areas, people vanish without a trace. So many in their senior years who felt comfortable enough to hike alone in them. Very baffling mysteries indeed.
Sometimes people think its odd that only a person's clothes are found and they wonder why they've been discarded. But the fact is it's a sure sign that somebody was lost and panicking because it's very common for somebody to panic and run and work up body temperature. They shed clothes off without even realizing they're doing it. Then in most instances they die from exposure also known as hypothermia. Even in warm weather it can and does happen. As a big woods hunter I have learned first hand that its imperative to keep your head when lost. And that is MUCH EASIER said than done.
One of my sons and my brother often go hiking solo which I don't like but I made sure they both carry a a personal locator with an SOS emergency button. We live in CO and my son also likes to go mountain climbing...I hate it when he climbs alone but the locator with SOS gives me some piece of mind.

Cases like Number 5 always surprise me. How could she not be found, when she was a quarter mile from their RV!?
...Murder...
@Jennifer 6strings
I actually believe that not every veteran that is homeless living on city streets actually does live on city streets.
A compass maybe, and a map, how about that?
what country are you talking about? just wondered about it's size
@@JamesPlatt88 Slovakia, some 50 000 share kilometers

Rusty, there was a guy that was just found alive in the grand canyon after being missing for 2 weeks. It said it was unclear what happened during the time he was missing.
Nothing happened. He was just lost.
@C-Ann W post a link here or it didnt happen
@@topherjoe1 prob write a book and do a movie too.
Don't be out in late afternoon: 3 to 7 pm.
I can imagine how easy it would be to get lost, thankfully its not my kind of thing. Please stay safe
@ThatOneDude702 how did you find your way back?
@@Ag.317 why
Thanks Rusty. You notice how when a person goes missing in these national forests when search & rescue goes in to look for the individual the weather all of a sudden gets real bad in that area where they have to halt the search. It seems like it happens on around 80-85% of these cases.
I think Man can control the weather either with technology or with spiritual means. I honestly think someone is manipulating the weather to clear their own tracks.
If someone or something has the power to manipulate the weather then really what chance do we have to prevent people from being snatched up.

National Parks = Flesh Farm/Hunting Grounds
See attached detailed account of the Anasazi.
legends.atavist.com/the-anasazi-legend-where-did-they-go
Sasquatch may be hiding there as well.

Thunderbirds ?
Thanks for taking the dog. Bless you.

John Rowlinson Yes. And fog & bad weather move in very very quickly too. My family is from the area.

*just some tips for the hikers who likes to scare themselves before hiking by watching these videos!*
if you ever find yourself lost, *never* continue to wander. stay exactly where you are when you notice you are lost.
*never go out without checking the weather!*
also know that bears *can* climb trees. know your animals and learn what they can and cannot do in case you encounter one in the wild!

Take care.
@@jonbrooks2895 Were you afraid or nervous ? You didn't take off?
@@maureenanderson4272 I feel super human like in spirit when I go hiking. Not mean just super duper. I walked upon a bear once that was sleeping under a tree. He woke up and looked at me for a second then took off. That time I did feel a little scared. Goodbye.
@@jonbrooks2895your backpack camping's. That's witchcraft, with the sticks and weird events.
Happy New Year Rusty!! Keep the great content coming. I look forward to your uploads.
Welcome back Rusty, Thank you for another great video! 👍
welcome back brother marvelous once again
#2. BAFFLING --#7 & #1 NO SURPRISE
Good morning to me. Happy Saturday everyone ! Thanks for another great video Rusty !
Thank you rusty for another great video! Happy new year!
@@byteme869 Thank you. That's what I think, too. Better to know, even though it's devastating, than to spend years worrying and wondering. 😔
good to have you back rusty great video
Thank you Rusty I’ve been waiting for a new one! So mysterious
Never hike alone. That's it.
it's more peaceful that way
And never be at the front or back of a group!
You don't hike anywhere anyway stop lying. Only hike yall take is across a parking lot.
@@indegostalker2259 Well we've hiked in many States in the US and in most countries in Europe (where we live) But you "have a nice day"...
Indego Stalker It’s extremely good advice to never hike alone, and don’t separate from others. Point of separation is when people go missing.
Rusty, I liked when said in the beginning Outdoorsman and hiker enthusiast continue to go missing this shows that no one is exempt. A fully experienced Hunter or explorer can't face the odds of not going missing unless they are rejected by the force that is taking them.
Yay! New Rusty video!
BawSE Bawse Yes.
Glad to see you back, Rusty. Too many of these in California (San Bernardino) are close...
ALONE!!! Don't dumbass hike alone; a common sense. "Oh; i'm going for a hike alone and be back a couple hours later' ...I'd never let anyone I'm with go hike alone!
Prayers and respect for all the missing and for Rusty for his valiant efforts and results.
Carry a weapon and never go alone, and dont split up and leave you're plans with a timeline to be home with someone.
And carry a transponder.
Preferable at least 2 guns and a good knife .
Thank you for continuing to do an excellent job on posting these. They are very fascinating cases & really make you wonder...
Happy New year Rusty from a cold and frosty night in Scotland, Thank you for your work
You deserve so many more subs.....congrats on 60,000 plus...been here since beginning, let’s use our brains and and tracker...
It would have been higher, but Rusty took time off for a while.
I hope my name i’ll never be on your list
On this show😉👋🗽🇺🇸👊👏🌍
Rustys voice gets me every time
#7 Rick Raymond Eastep case....
He texted he was injured on Monday but the text wasn't received until Wednesday evening.
#7...the Rick Raymond Eastep case....seems like he fell to the coast line....back injury... couldn't move above tide line.....high tide pulled him out to sea I think.
Toten Shimmer ....yeah he texted a friend Monday that he had fallen, had an accident, and broken his back.....but his friend didn't receive the text until Wednesday evening
amy benje ....by the ocean? 🤦
Ethan Allen cougars or deep out to sea?
Carol V ....cougars? 😂
He made it clear he fell and injured his back by the coast. Why would you suggest cougars over high tide drowning him?
Welcome back. I love listening to you.
Also, a written itinerary of your planned journey in case you do get lost. Plus, the buddy system would also be well advised.
Right on. Excellent idea; makes sense!
Happy New Year Rusty! Always great to hear your voice and see your videos. Thank you so much for bringing these stories to light.
Cheers

I freely admit I put on your videos if I can't sleep. You just have such a soothing voice.
Haha I do the same.
If these people were attacked and killed by known predators, you would find ripped up clothing not far from where they disappeared. Clothing is not usually consumed along with the body. It is a leftover that should be easily sniffed out by those sniffer dogs.🤔
Yes wild animals don't eat boots.
Love your voice. Love your videos. Good to see you again, Rusty
Wow I’m in Humboldt and didn’t hear about that case 🤔 thanks Rusty
Why would anyone go hiking alone into the wilderness.....especially when you’re up in age.
I've always done stuff like that, but these accounts make me think about it differently.

Reckon I'll be talk'n like Rusty fer the rest of the day.
Rusty, its is your voice that keeps me on your channel - it is strong and soothing.
Sad, But interesting. Thanks Rusty!!
Thank you rusty been waiting for a new one

Sometimes people think its odd that only a person's clothes are found and they wonder why they've been discarded. But the fact is it's a sure sign that somebody was lost and panicking because it's very common for somebody to panic and run and work up body temperature. They shed clothes off without even realizing they're doing it. Then in most instances they die from exposure also known as hypothermia. Even in warm weather it can and does happen.
As a big woods hunter I have learned first hand that its imperative to keep your head when lost. And that is MUCH EASIER said than done.
Thanks Rusty 👍🏻🦊💚
One of my sons and my brother often go hiking solo which I don't like but I made sure they both carry a a personal locator with an SOS emergency button. We live in CO and my son also likes to go mountain climbing...I hate it when he climbs alone but the locator with SOS gives me some piece of mind.
