    I found out that cinch machine does not cut through plastic sleeves! Was going to make a book to hold embossing folder..now the flimsy sleeve is caught in my 'pink version' cinch. Is there a way to release the down pegs up so I can do this? Michele

    Hello! I have a question, can I punch 6 holes on an A5 sized paper with this? I have a beautiful planner but the darn refill paper with 3 holes on each end is impossible to find. I just want to do it myself at this point and hopefully make my own books. Thanks!

      Yes, you can do that with The Cinch, but the new Planner Punch Board is perfect for this as well. Check out the Planner Punch Board videos on our channel here.

    I love my cinch but I would like to know when can we expect to get larger coil wires maybe an 1 1/2 or 1 3/4 inches? The 1 1/4 inch doesn't always work for when we have a thicker album. This has been my problem when making albums for my grandchildren.

    • @WeR_Makers
      @WeR_Makers  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Estelle Howe We will pass your request onto our product development team.. Unfortunately, the 1 1/4" wires are the biggest size we sell for now. You might be able to find wires that would work on Amazon or eBay that are bigger...

    My sister and I have been looking for a way to bind her writings in a book when I found this item on Amazon. It is great to have tutorials from customers as well as the company.
    I have a question regarding the binding after it is cinched. It appears it does not come together completely so if that is true then is there any problems with any pages including the covers coming off the binding? If so, is there a way to prevent this from happening?
    Do you have any suggestions for putting designs on the cover such as, should there be sprayed glue used on the paper to get it to adhere properly and then when decorated is there any problem with punching?
    Is it possible to use a plastic cover sheet that is thick kind of like the chipboard and it be punched?
    Thanks for your help and any suggestions. I would really like to get some of her (my sister's) writings in books.
    Also, is there a difference between the round and square punches when laying a book open flat or bending the cover and/or pages back flat so one could write in the books? If so, which is better?

      @WeR_Makers  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Angel Limato The Cinch would be such a great tool for your special book! Here are some thoughts to hopefully answer your questions:
      *You determine how tight you want the binding to be based on where you turn the knob on the backside of the machine.... So you can make the space between the wires tighter if wanted.
      *The possibilities for decorating the front cover are endless! Spray adhesive works really well and punches perfectly after adhered to your chipboard. We also love using acetate covers to add protection and a more finished look. Our Clearly Bold Collection is perfect for this! (www.wermemorykeepers.com/default.aspx?PageID=956&CategoryID=830&ProductID=11954&RootCatCode=08000)
      *Both Cinch's - whether round or square - work the same! The only difference is the hole style preference.

    • @WeR_Makers
      @WeR_Makers  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! The size of your binding wire will depend on the depth of the items you're binding. If you measure the depth of your project that needs to be bound, you'll want to select a wire that's slightly larger (at least 1/2 inch) to give it some room to move. Hope that helps.

    • @SusanRoseArt

    Can someone please tell me, what is the newest version of the Cinch, when I do a search I see yellow ones, blue ones, and black and white ones....I went to the we r memory keepers website and typed Cinch binding machine in the search box and all that came up was accessories for the machine and not the machine itself. I looked on both the Michaels and Joann Fabrics and couldn't find one, is this a discontinued item? Just to let you know, I am asking this question on other TH-cam sites.

    I have a question that you can hopefully answer. How can I bind a book with more than 20 pages?

    • @WeR_Makers
      @WeR_Makers  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Inspurration - Pet Art & Photography So sorry we didn't respond sooner! You can bind books that have many more pages than 20.. you would just need to punch them in batches less than 20 sheets. The best way is to place your wire binding on the side of the tool, punch a stack of paper, place on the binding, punch another stack of paper, place on binding, and repeat until you've punched all the pages you want to include in your book. Then you just Cinch the binding together with the bar on the back of the machine. Hope this helps!
