Like so many people I also grew up with this band! Meteora was one of my first albums as a kid... they really created amazing music that will live forever! \m/
Meteora is my favourite album too! By the way, I know I told you before but I looove your videos but I wish you could make more covers often especially from Linkin Park :3 Can you make cover of their song Numb? Pretty please?

I love how you don't actually explain EVERYTHING there is to explain. You just show the tune and the tabs. This helps me more than videos that explain the song. Keep it up!

Strings&Tabs apparently the police launched a murder investigation because they think someone killed him, then made it look like suicide. and apparently his wife also says he was murdered

I got a question.. how are you playing the notes with "x" or "dead note"? I just got an electric guitar and I couldn't figure it out..
Hey, you put the finger slightly on the string so it doesn't produce a tone when you hit it. Maybe there is some video tutorial for that here on TH-cam as well?
strings&tabs I couldn't find a video that explains it man.. These "x" notes are on a lot Linkin Park's old songs like Faint (I would love to learn it!) One Step Closer and Somewhere I Belong. Maybe you can make a video about those notes or songs?

Thank you but the video shows the normal muting.. I want to mute a single string like you did in this video. How did you do it?
Also, I did put my finger slightly on the string but it sounded bad. I really want to learn these songs but no one explained how to do it. What should I do?
I know this video is "old" but how do you mute only the string in the middle between fe. 9 and 7 fret?
With the ring finger. And you play the 9 with your pinky and the 7 with the Index finger
press on the 7th with your index finger and mute all the strings below by slightly touching them. Make sure your index finger doesn't rest above the fret or it will produce harmonics. Then press on the 9th with your pinky. That way you get only two notes ringing. If you are playing this shape (called octaves) on the 3rd and 5th strings, which is pretty common in Linkin Park songs, also mute the 6th string with your middle finger.
