When I used these functions for the first time, I quickly came up with the idea to ask the cabin crew for a coffee. I was certain that I would either get no response or a wrong one. But I received exactly the answer shown in the video. At that moment, I realized: this is truly an amazing step forward for flight simulation, which brings so much more immersion than I could have imagined. I struggled with the subscription at first. The product has developed excellently, the price has dropped, and the scope has expanded significantly. I’m glad I did it. SI is always my companion today, whether flying a private aircraft or an Airbus A320.
Great video, thanks. I just did a trial flight yesterday and immediately afterwards I purchased a subscription. I was in all when I took off from a private field and after climbing a few thousand feet the approach and asked to activate my IFR flight plan. Unbelievably, it worked. This is as close to real life as you can get.
And that’s where AI falls a little short. We don’t use F40 in gusty conditions. F40 speed limit is 162 KTS on 800. 175 for F30. If I get a gust forcing the speed to spike to 163 using F40 we will get flap blow back. Using F30 provides better margin in these conditions.
Out of all the impressive stuff in this video, the one thing that triggered me a bit is when the AI says "Boeing seven hundred and thirty seven" instead of "Boeing seven three seven". Its minor, but its something that is happening all the time with the current TTS in MSFS 2024 and it drives me crazy, along with all the other ridiculous things that the TTS in MSFS says. SI is lightyears beyond what is available in MSFS, but it just goes to show how even the smallest details can be immersion breaking in something like that. I'm still sold though. The only thing I wish MSFS would do is allow for these services like Say Intentions and BetterATC to actually REPLACE the in game ATC functions instead of it needing to work along side it. I hate having something as great as this, while also still needing to utilize the simplistic and dysfunctional default ATC system.
I wish the merch had an airplane somewhere or something referring to flight simulation a little better so it tells the story . kinda like if i had a herkey emblem I always want it to say iowa above it so if im somwhere they know hey...
How do you get the cabin crew to adress you by a chosen name instead of your simbrief ID? Because my simbrief id has a number in it, which sounds a little weird. Also, the safety instructions aren't read automatically during taxi (XPlane 12)

I don't understand really, no ATC ? What's the point ? There are already guided paths in MSFS, and Entourage manage only some sorts of AI crew for touristic tours ?
This is what MSFS 20/24 should have by default not as an payware addon... you wouldn't say M$ is owning the biggest AI in the world... but they do like the 4 year subscription... :D :D
The ONLY thing missing is regional accents in ATC coms, as amazing as it is right now it is quite unrealistic to hear perfect english everywhere at Innsbruck for example, some german coms or accents, even italian ones because Italy is very close would be great!
This is incredible and it just baffles me that MSFS 2024 has the absolute garbage voices and voice lines that it has. Its the most rudimentary and outdated TTS system I've ever seen. It was so obviously just tacked on and barely tested or touched. Imagine something so in depth like this being native within the game, at least in the career mode. It would be on another level entirely. MSFS and their career mode/ATC/voices/voice lines, etc. is a straight up embarrassment and I'm so happy that this exists to substitute for what the game itself is lacking.

I had emergency, and I asked cabin crew to calm down and explain passengers what is happening, and they did it!

With the coffee thing, I could totally see SI being able to dispense a coffee cup from the user’s computer in the near future!
So when can I ask the Crew for a Coffee and my Smart Home switches my Coffee Maker on?
@@DasNik25 Smartphones can do that, so I don’t see why SI wouldn’t be able to do it in the near future!

But the Tower does not sound like an Austrian/German Controller.
