    Elephants are an important part of the festivals in Kerala. They have their own elephant spa and a huge fan base. But its crushing what I've been hearing in the news about a pregnant elephant that happened to meander out of the forests and into a village.
    Also how can one eat animals and then say, "I don't like it when animals are used for anything."

    • @whysoblahsphemous
      @whysoblahsphemous 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @V B I don't think you read my comment because nowhere have I mentioned that it's okay to torment animals for hours because any kind of animal abuse is unacceptable whether it lasts for hours, minutes or seconds. And if one can't help sustaining off of them in some way due to fewer options or geographical climate then one should at least not harm them them unnecessarily.

The view of changing decorative umbrella is a sheer treat for eyes and of course the fireworks at the end. Elephants are Kerela is part of culture and pride as well. Most of them are treated well and considered to be the avatar of Lord Ganesha. But still, some exceptions also there those elephants abused for its physical capability like lifting large goods etc.

    Bad day to post this guys. I am a Malayali n we do love our elephants like anything. But whats in news its so disheartened and sad, cant express how it feels. My maternal grandparents home used to keep posters of elephants. I remember a huge poster of Ramchandran elephant(a famous elephant in kerala, yes we love them so much they are like celebrities for us too). When i told my mother what happened with those elephants, she was in disbelief and she cursed she said actually wished for their bad fortunes who did this to that poor elephant and her unborn baby.

      If you love elephants then please do care about them in the wild. Elephants are not meant to be loved and cared only when they are dressed and worshipped. They are not supposed to be praised for their ivory. Respect them in the wild state, thats it. They can live on their own. Thank you🙂.

    This is such a great honour for us Keralites to have you react with such respect and love to the Thrissur Pooram which is such a Mega Event where though it is known as a hindu festival, it is a festival for everyone because everyone contributes towards making it a beautiful spectacular event and is absolutely enjoyed by all and is a source of pride and joy to everyone 🙏😊❤️😍n No the people who play the instruments (it is headed by Peruvanam Kuttan Marar Sir, the gentleman with the blue sidecloth who is seen playing, enjoying and helming the orchestra - the Ilanjithara melam) have a specific time for playing the first performance n then on the concluding day.. Even then, it is a special n wonderful sight of coordination between the people, elephants, the mahouts and the ones changing the beautiful umbrellas with a beautiful jam packed crowd enjoying the festivities. The pandals are set up days before with an awesome exhibition highlighting the Thrissur Pooram. The time after the umbrella event is for families to come pray at the temples and roam around enjoying the beautiful scene n it culminates in the noontime the day after.

When a pregnant elephant is fed with pineapple filled with crackers and it dies in agony standing in a river. When dogs are cruelly killed of using sword as target practice or being thrown off river or building for tik tok or when pregnant cats are hanged for viral videoes.

      @@korantemakan9762 Each time voice has been raised.. But only during Bakrid nobody can raise a voice in India because indirectly you are questioning the religion and it's practices and the whole Hindu Muslim Drama will begin.I quote you another instance where Animal Lover Activists raised millions of questions against the chopping off of Shark fins in China and then the Sharks being thrown back into water. Beef is still banned in many places but then many people eat pork ,beef and on questioning by Animal Rights lovers they react as to "Don't question our food choices".Everytime people raise their voices and then shut up with passing time. And I am a vegan talking btw. I don't eat chicken, eggs, mutton, fish and I don't have cows milk as well. So I have raised my voice in every instance. Even this time I stand against cruelty to animals. Now say.
