Villa's net spend this summer transfer window was about £0,as our sales covered our buys,so i was surprised given the extra sponsorship deals that were much bigger than previously & knowing that the champions league windfall incoming this season which should be about a minimum of £50 million even if we get knocked out after the initial 8 games,so on this alone would give us approximately £80 million extra from last season. Also we've got to conform with UEFA's rules aswell as the premier leagues FFP/PSR regulations & maybe we're still paying for the mistakes made in the past, but with the long term injuries coming back & our new players we look pretty strong in depth anyway,a couple more would've been better, but us fans don't know all the financial details, but we need to trust Unai & his staff,as they've done very well for our great club so far & they wouldn't put Villa in peril unnecessarily which i personally respect & can coach the players we have already & improve them, alot of managers nowadays rely too much on spending heavily & it's not sustainable for Aston Villa fc right now & the majority of football clubs for that matter...... up the fuck'in Villa!!! 😁⚽✌️
In fairness to Dean Smith, had great eye for talent, alot of players he brought in were and still are brilliant for club and worth alot of money. Emery and his team are geniuses to get us where we are now already with the mess ( I didn't go to Saudi for the money) Gerrard left behind and his self absorbed buddy Purslow. Probably will set us back a good few transfer windows. Unai and co will clean up mess. So lucky to have them.
I think most loan deals would have a clause in the contract to recall players if needed in case of injuries or other unseen circumstances I would've thought,an example was last season when we recalled Kane kesler Hayden from his season long loan at Plymouth Argyl when we had no cover at right back due to injuries. I'm not 100% sure, but reading between the lines that's what makes sense to me,as the parent club doesn't want to be at a disadvantage with players loaned to other clubs & have no right to recall their own players if necessary, but maybe some loan conditions vary to others,I think maybe only club insiders working in recruitment could say for sure,as contract details are private & not shared around to people outside the small group of people concerned in my opinion..... up the fuck'in Villa!!! 😊
There’s no way Felix was ever a possibility if Villa couldn’t even get a Right Back in on loan !
Fantastic show lads. Love it.

Jacob is going to have an Ornstein like future
Tanswell’s secondary source is to wait and see if Romano or Ornstein tweet about it.
UTV 💜💙
Dan and Jacob, do you know if Barrenechea and Illing Junior can be recalled in January window, is it on their loan terms?

Why couldn't AV sign Carvajal?
1. We don’t know that Luiz refused a contract.
2. If it was always going to be Luiz that was sold why did Luiz say he thought he was going to stay?
Street cred? Luiz was miles off it in 2024
