- Marko Hietala wins the second season of Masked Singer Suomi (Finland) as Tohtori ("doctor").
The translation is by me. I'm a native Finnish speaker but my English may contain mistakes. The purpose of this video is just to share Marko's journey in Masked Singer with people who don't understand Finnish.

Marco is one of the few who could not only keep up alongside Tarja but make his Phantom part sound all dark and creepy like I feel it should be. He has a great voice - his version of High Hopes was amazing.
Interesting thing about Marco is that he said that he was finally able to "unleash" his full singing potential only when Floor joined the band ^^ Their voices fit much better, they kinda meld into eachother since Floor can sing harsh.
I'll never stop to love Marko. He's my favourite singer and musician ever. Thanks for the translation... greetings from Mexico!

I don't know enough about Finnish celebrities. When the judges kept saying "we were so close" in terms of their guesses, how accurate was that?
Hmm, not very accurate in my opinion. Two of them did guess Eicca Toppinen from Apocalyptica, but I wouldn't say that's a "close" guess; they're both Finnish musicians and both are very well known internationally, but that's it. Jufo is a musician yes, but a rapper in a not so well-known band. Antti Holma is as far away from Marko as you can get.
Only Maria ever mentioned Marko by name during the entire show and that wasn't a guess but a comment about the Heavy Christmas shows.
@@sanni4368 Well, Eicca is also in a symphonic metal band just like Marko, so it's still a bit closer than "they are both finnish musicians", but yea still not that close.
@@Sanquinity Your point is valid, but I did not believe the genre of their bands was relevant. Maybe it is, even tho they have such different instruments and Eicca doesn't sing. I should also add that Eicca has been in Raskasta Joulua as a visiting cellist, so that clue would also fit.
Yeah I wouldn't say Eicca is a close guess either. I mean I GUESS some of his older band photos with NW might look KINDA like Eicca and they both are metal... But that's about as close as I think it could get. They've probably shared a lot of commonalities in like gig locations/festivals etc... But nope
@@renlosee5223 I frankly don't know how anyone could think that Eicca would have this level of ability to sing while never singing on any releases. It's frankly a ridiculous guess.
