I worked at walgreens for 4 years and I've been a housekeeper for almost 2. I agree with Rhett when he says it's better to clean up shit than deal with people's attitudes. Retail is crazy but I've become numb to cleaning up feces.
They should just put a secondary mic in the back. They don't have to include the audio-track whenever it's not necessary, like if they're just laughing, but whenever they do talk it should be added alongside the normal audio-track.
EMTs, doing the same thing as the ER with 1/8 the room, less people and at 70 mph..... Still called Ambulance Drivers. We are paramedics who do critical care on the scene. We don't just throw people in the back of an ambulance and take them to hospital.
I’m an EMT and I can guarantee we all love it. We love the blood, guts, gore, panic, and the help we give to people. It’s the most incredible feeling to be there for people who are in such immense need. Bless all first responders!
My dad works as an EMT and has been for years. He's told me stories about some of the worst nights and I give such high respect to EMTs because of the high crap-factor they have to deal with. They have to deal with people yelling or confused as to why the EMTs or police won't just take the injured people away or why it takes a while. He says the reason why they can't take them away immediately is because they need to give a report to the police, do some paper work, and then something else and they have the "O.K." to go. I give respect to any first responder (EMT, Fireman, Police, etc) because you guys are literally life savers and have to deal with a lot to make sure people get to where they need to go and safely as well as getting yourselves there safely to deal with the situation. THANK YOU!!!!!!
TH-camrs moving their careers to TV doesn't really equals to success. Take Fred and Annoying Orange for an example. (although their shows are kind of crap in the first place imo).
Going to build a bear is so funny because no matter what they try to keep the magic alive, i was getting one for my nephew who is 2 and the woman was like "Do you want to kiss the hear and make a wish" and it was so hard not to laugh :V

***** I apologize if that wasn't your intention, it was probably a bad choice of words. No problem with being a retired Paramedic, I was just pointing out the age difference.
When I was in a really bad wreck I appreciated the ambulance driver. My ribs and sternum were fractured, my foot too. Those ambulances rock quit a bit and unfortunately he had to drive over the lane divider to get me to the hospital the quickest. He shouted from the front to prepare and that he would be as gentle as he could. Every move made me scream in pain so I covered my mouth. He tried really hard, one tire at a time, gently walking us over it. Sometimes it's all the guy in the back but with me, every decision the driver made effected me. I appreciated him understanding that.
I work on a supermarket counter and it honestly isn't that bad. 95% of the people I interact with are friendly or at least polite. I used to work in a bar and that was 50x worse. I can imagine working somewhere like The Job Centre would be way worse.
I think an extreme crap factor would be, being an RN and working in the Trauma Room of a Children's Hospital. My mom does this and she sees children from 5 days old to 17 years old die at least once a week. Sometimes she comes home with really heart touchingly sad stories.. I can probably tell one discreetly. She had a patient who was with one gaurdien and while he wasn't with her, the child ran into the road and was hit by a truck. By the time she got to the hospital, it was almost already too late. No matter what the parents both screamed to try something else because she has to live. This story actually made me cry. It's one of the worst jobs in that case. Though it does pay well. And I guess it's also an amazing job considering when the children do live, you know it's because of you and the rest of the team, so you helped save a life.
Worst job factor, definitely dealing with peoples' attitudes. Its as if once you're behind that counter, it gives them permission to vent their frustration at you. And im not talking about if I made a mistake, that I can understand, but if theyre just having a bad day or someone else messed up, then I cant stand it when some one is rude. Of course this isnt with everyone but you just need 1 in every 5 coming at you with a 'God Complex' and it stuffs your day up completely.
i get this when i work at a charity shop, people look down on you, and think they are so much better, though i wouldnt trade it for anything, especially the look on their faces when they find out that being rude to someone giving their free time to help out a charity mean they aren't going to play the same as someone getting paid, my rule is your rude to me im rude back.
Ditto. I also hate when people get mad at lower-level employees for things they have no control over. Like, "Oh my gosh! How can you charge that much! This is horrible! What's wrong with you?!" And you're just sitting there thinking "Why yes, these prices are absurd. But as a minimum wage employee with no control over anything involving this large company, I can do nothing about it. If you don't like it, leave!" Which, of course, you can say none of.
At the boardwalk I've gone to, there is this ride that always has the same operator, and he always looks really happy and he smiles at the people on the ride, he seems to really enjoy His job
Anyone else think she was a very pretty lady? Another job with a high crap-factor is McDonalds. It kinda depends on how busy the store you work at is, but it can get pretty bad. Almost to the point of just leaving and never coming back. So many people expect to get their food immediately and when you have to make 30 different sandwiches along with cooking the replacement meats, it can be challenging. Not to mention the days where the shift manager asks you to empty the trash in the main lobby. I have never seen so much garbage juice in my life.
After high school, I worked as a Parking Enforcement Officer (aka a "meter maid,") for a few months. I would say that's my job with the highest Crap Factor. I was required to wear a short sleeve polo shirt that was literally neon, highlighter yellow, because it was the "safety color." I would shine like a beacon any time the sun was out, meaning that every time I wrote someone a ticket, they could find me right away.I had a one-mile loop that I had to walk around constantly, eight hours a day, with no variations. People would come up to me all the time and call me all sorts of vile, nasty things over a $5 ticket that they clearly deserved. On top of all that, the police force that I worked for didn't like me because I had long hair (apparently that's unacceptable for men). They called me Bon Jovi for awhile, and eventually forbade me from working until I got my hair cut. All in all, a miserable experience.
My sister says her work is terrible (restaurant) because everyone is so on edge 24/7 (her co-workers). She gets yelled at for no reason, customers can be rude, everyone is stressed and it makes her stressed. I would imagine most restaurants are like this too, behind the scenes.
I work as a hostess and I get complaints ALL the time that are completely out of my control. On my first day of work, a party was going on upstairs, and our restaurant doesn't have an elevator, but a chair that is on the side of the stairwell that glides from the top of the stairs to the bottom. So, this one man who was part of the party was handicap, and I had no idea how to operate the chair, so I had to stand there smiling waiting for my boss. While I was waiting for him, this one woman who was obviously related or friends with the man came up to me and asked if we had an elevator and I responded, "No, I'm sorry, we do not have an elevator, but we do have a chair that'll take him up." She then bursts out in anger at me, and says, "that's absolutely disgusting, how despicable can that get." I had no idea how to respond, due to not expecting her to scream at me for something I had no control over, so I kind of stared at her for about 5 seconds and lightly said, "Okay..." she then gave me a dirty look and walked away... This is not even the beginning of what sh*t I have to go through at work...
I love how BABW does things like have you give them a heart, make a wish, give them a "shower" with air, ect. It's heartwarming and makes getting a teddy bear feel special.
When I get out of high school in a couple more years I want to become an emt, mainly because for years now I've had to help my mum throughout her health struggles and many medical emergency and although it's hard taking care of her it makes me feel good to know that I am making a difference and I want to be able to keep making a difference in many people's lives because that's what makes me happy.
I went to build a bear with my girlfriend at the time and they tried to get me to do the little dance and say all that stuff and I was like look, I am not getting out of this store for less then 100 bucks so you just fill the damn bear and take my money so I can leave.
***** Lol they were like "Hold the heart and sing this song and dance with me" I was like I am a grown ass man they ain't paying me to dance so I'ma just watch you. But I forget the song but they make you spin around and jump a few times and stuff to make the heart come alive and fill it with joy or some crap haha
I think we all overlooked the fact that Rhett poured water into his coffee mug thus forever solving the mystery of what beverage is in the mythical mug!
I work at Build a Bear and I absolutely love my job! The parents definitely can ruin it, yes every employee dreads being a party host, and yes we call them skins.
I'm just so touched to see somebody so lovely love little children like I do. In all seriousness, I would absolutely pay 500 dollars to see her stuff my bear with such care. Thank you Stevie, for garnering love and hope in our next generation one cotton fluff at a time. I'm totally cheesing you out on purpose but you probably don't read comments anyways so I'm safe :))))))))))).
I know this is an old comment but, yeah he was. I think partly because he looks good in grey and partly because he was a little freer with his dirty mind. Actually, both of them were. haa
Always been a huge fan of GMM and all their other channels.. I watch the show religiously it's the highlight of my day and it's always a good day when u start it with a nice big cup of espresso and an always great episode of GMM.. I only wish I had an official GMM mug to feel more like a part of the gang.. speaking of which Stevie is adorable she should be in more episodes but don't feel bad Jen I think ur very cute as well
Hi Stevie! It's nice for you to have your own appearance in Good Mythical Morning, since most of the time you are block by Rhett's large stature. Also love your giggles in the background of all the episodes xD
My dad was an EMT and was then a paramedic. They don't just have to respond to important things. If someones tooth is loose and blood is coming out they might call the number and they have to come. No matter what time it is. You have 24 hour shifts too so you might not get any sleep. They also have to deal with fecies alot.
I can't decide who my favorite crew member is. Stevie is great. Lizzie has such a great sense of humor. Mike and Alex do nothing and make me laugh. This whole group is amazing
I have to interject slightly.. on your scale of 1-10 on the crap factor of jobs, anyone that has to deal with the general public automatically starts at a 5, in any of these jobs, you will always have to deal with unhappy people.
You have to wonder if Rhett knows what a FLUFFER is (outside of the build-a-bear context of course) given his giggles n comments, "constant fluffing" "don't put your mouth on that" "when the fluff thing gets out of control" LMAO!
***** Nah, dishes are great. Two years in fast food will make you love it. Put it this way: I've never had a pan yell at me because I supposedly got his order wrong. The only bad thing about them is that after a few hours, that water is naaaasty.
Yeah, fast food restaurants have a turnover rate of about 6 months, so managers almost always side with the customers in order to make the store look good. I don't work drive thru anymore because I couldn't stand getting yelled at. It's really dehumanizing, and I sincerely wish everyone had to spend at least 6 months working in a restaurant.
Fast food is rushed. Brain surgery is not. Simple as that. If you want you food fast, you're gonna have to put up with a miscommunication now and then. But if you try to get me fired for it, then you're in the wrong.
As an artist who works on commission, the crap factor in my job is pretty high. You get tons of people who want to pay you beans for hours of work, because they don't understand that custom design is going to cost more than something you'd pick up mass-produced in Walmart. It's one person working for hours to make you something one of a kind. Can't afford it? Don't buy it! But don't expect us to work for pennies an hour! >_< like, "Yes ma'am. I understand that you can get your daughter's name printed on a pack of birthday invitations at the store for $15. I am DESIGNING the cards personally, to suit your daughter's interests and tastes. 10 hours have gone into this design. And they're going to cost $60. ... you do understand that you're essentially paying a skilled, professional artist, who's studied their trade for nearly a decade, about $6 an hour as it is... right? Do you STILL expect it to be cheaper?!" o_e;
6:38 Lauren Bacall moment! As a cold wet English man this episode was a real Californian dream. Got to admit the guys got funnier with stevie on set. Cheers all lots of fun today always love the guessing game eps helps to give it some structure
I'm 16 and I went to Build-A-Bear to get a panda bear in a Thor outfit. IDK WHY. But the woman asked me to make a wish and I couldn't think of anything so I just said.. "Uh Link Neal?". o.o
I've been watching GMM for years but I only just saw this episode. I had NO IDEA that Stevie was also from NC like Rhett & Link. She's probably my favorite crew member.
Whoever left the one dislike, I don't know who you are. I don't know why you did. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you apologise and like the video now that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
I agree with Stevie, always choose the other stores over kids stores. Not that I don't like kids, but it's really hard to be visibly cheerful all day long. Especially on busy weekends. I worked at American Girl and it was so hard to stay cheerful when you had to deal with overbearing and neurotic AG parents, especially during the holiday season. I once had a parent sitting on the floor, throwing a temper tantrum because we were out of what she was looking for.
I cracked up when Link said "You wanna make a bear together~?" XD Ive gatta animate that...but I cant cut out audio. This has to happen .3. someone halp andholysheet this was posted on my bday. happy fakin birthday 2 me
At around two years old, my parents took me to build a bear. That was around 2003, I remember it a tiny bit. They got me the special edition spring bear, and I remember putting the hearts in. That bear is still around.
I've only ever had one build-a-bear, and mine burst while in the fluffing/stuffing machine right in front of me. So they got me a new, idk, bear shell? Skin? I remember it all being quite traumatic.
I laughed a lot harder than I should have while reading this😂
Rebel Arms lol I never got one. ... not enough 'doh'
when I was like 6 my cousin stole my build a bear and hid it,we still haven't found him
Rebel Arms your bear builder over stuffed your bear
Bear Shell. XD
I work at an airport, occasionally at the gate. And it's crazy how many people do not understand what bad weather means. They insist YOU personally have cancelled the flight for the sole purpose of inconveniencing them. Or they think having status magically should fix EVERYTHING.
god why would anyone insist to travel with bad weather . thats scary
At my job I feel like I am getting paid to watch GMM. Gas station, practically no customer traffic inside.
awww best job ever!

Agreed, crap doesn't talk back or try to take its bad mood out on you. It just sits there and then its gone.
I wish they would put subtitles or something when the crew talks behind the camera.
They should just put a secondary mic in the back. They don't have to include the audio-track whenever it's not necessary, like if they're just laughing, but whenever they do talk it should be added alongside the normal audio-track.
Konoshy do you still watch GMM?

This is honestly better than any morning show thats on TV lol they should be on tv "the today show with Rhett and Link"
Nah if they were on T.V they would be told what to do. Instead of using their ideas
I love this format and would be extremely upset if they moved to TV.
TH-camrs moving their careers to TV doesn't really equals to success. Take Fred and Annoying Orange for an example. (although their shows are kind of crap in the first place imo).
If they made a TV show, the international audience won't be able to enjoy GMM. Please don't take away the one good thing of my day in South Africa...
Marinel Mostert Yeah, it needs to remain international. Well I hope you have a great day, maybe 2 good things will happen today! :)
7:30 is priceless. Stevie let one slip & Rhett's reaction was great. Had me cracking up

They called me Bon Jovi for awhile, and eventually forbade me from working until I got my hair cut. All in all, a miserable experience.
Someone tried to make me cut my hair so I knocked them out, guess who's banned from K-Mart, totally worth it tho
Bon Jovi😂
My sister says her work is terrible (restaurant) because everyone is so on edge 24/7 (her co-workers). She gets yelled at for no reason, customers can be rude, everyone is stressed and it makes her stressed. I would imagine most restaurants are like this too, behind the scenes.
I worked at my aunts restaurant and it was pretty good. Everyone was nice to me and we were all friends. It is in a smaller town though.
SicariusVG I'm in a fairly small town, but the restaurant gets really busy, that's probably why everyone gets so stressed.
Tori Brubaker wow that's terrible! chairs like that are just fine in my opinion, they work as well as an elevator.
yep, I just quit my job at a restaurant for that exact reason. It's not a very calming atmosphere, to be sure.
I love how BABW does things like have you give them a heart, make a wish, give them a "shower" with air, ect. It's heartwarming and makes getting a teddy bear feel special.
Rhett's "I would rather deal with people's feces than their attitudes"😂😂😂
Oh my gosh, I laughed so much when Stevie came on camera. She's awesome! Love all these people who work on the show. :3
Now I want to go to build-a-bear...
Me too
Thay have pikachu... And I'm 23 and I bought one 😂😂
+SUPERGIRL47 i have one as well i got it for my b day haha i gave it a super hero outfit xDD
+SUPERGIRL47 #Build-a-Bear
#PikachuBuild-a-bear
Good mythical morning everyone
Is it weird that I like watching link cuss?
+Victoriya Rath nope (:
I've never heard Link cuss.
Where did you see that
i dnt know but i love watching him cuss, do you know any videos were he does?
I don’t remember them swearing in any episode.
I love being an EMT man. It's an incredibly rewarding job.
OMG Stevie is hot
ummmm no... so is that coffee *
Actually it's water
You are all absolutely mistaken, it's actually hot Soylent garnished with stem-cells.
OMG you're a creep. get a life.
I'm sure she can't wait to have your cheeto-stained fingers fumbling awkwardly over her body.
Link seemed like he was in a good mood today and it put me in a good mood! Thank you for that
Hope it doesn't offend Stevie, but for just a second, i thought Avril Lavigne showed up.
I went to build a bear with my girlfriend at the time and they tried to get me to do the little dance and say all that stuff and I was like look, I am not getting out of this store for less then 100 bucks so you just fill the damn bear and take my money so I can leave.
midnight80090 "The little dance?" What is the dance? Please explain... xD
***** Lol they were like "Hold the heart and sing this song and dance with me" I was like I am a grown ass man they ain't paying me to dance so I'ma just watch you. But I forget the song but they make you spin around and jump a few times and stuff to make the heart come alive and fill it with joy or some crap haha
midnight80090 BAHAHAHAA! That's amazing.
***** Lol its crazy! you need to go there as a couple and make one just to see how crazy it is.
***** Very true sir, she could have been like "Now stuff this heart with a message to fill it with joy!" and I just shove a dime bag in there.
10:43 "Let's make a bear together. **laughing with crew offscreen**"
My ultimate dream is to work at Build-A-Bear
SAME
Erin Donovan me to
These aresome of the best videos. Anyone else remember when their MAIN videos were just them telling stories?
I finally went to a (fake) Build-A-Bear last summer, despite being a little too old. I got a duck with a cute little outfit and named it Sakura.
Derp Nottus I ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO ONE IM SO JELLO MAN XD
Kayla Marten XD Well, it wasn't technically a Build-A-Bear, but it was close enough.
Hope you get to go to one someday!
Derp Nottus would it be weird if a 19 year old went in and built a bear? I'll take my sister with me and pretend its really her who wants to 😂😂
Kayla Marten Might as well, could be weirder!
Took someone there when I was dating her (I sound like a playboy...). She was too childlike to care. No one else did, either.
I love Stevie's fashion sense, like I want to be Stevie when I grow up XD
how was this a build a bear disaster?? sounded just like normal work stuff.
Right? Sounded like a really easy job.
I'm just so touched to see somebody so lovely love little children like I do.
In all seriousness, I would absolutely pay 500 dollars to see her stuff my bear with such care. Thank you Stevie, for garnering love and hope in our next generation one cotton fluff at a time. I'm totally cheesing you out on purpose but you probably don't read comments anyways so I'm safe :))))))))))).
rhett's p hot in this...
I know;)
I know this is an old comment but, yeah he was. I think partly because he looks good in grey and partly because he was a little freer with his dirty mind. Actually, both of them were. haa
SixRaven Eight o disagree if anything they have gotten alot dirtier as time went on.
the style of shirt he’s wearing is so flattering
Always been a huge fan of GMM and all their other channels.. I watch the show religiously it's the highlight of my day and it's always a good day when u start it with a nice big cup of espresso and an always great episode of GMM.. I only wish I had an official GMM mug to feel more like a part of the gang.. speaking of which Stevie is adorable she should be in more episodes but don't feel bad Jen I think ur very cute as well
The Crew needs a microphone.
I guess they don't really want to be heard. But it would be nice if we could easily hear it when they do want to add something.
Hi Stevie! It's nice for you to have your own appearance in Good Mythical Morning, since most of the time you are block by Rhett's large stature. Also love your giggles in the background of all the episodes xD
Am I the only who got Rhett's fluffer joke?
+Tommy Wiseau Paused and then went to the comments just to check for this.
Stevie now has an episode a week where she is the host. Good decisions cause Stevie is amazing
5:07 Gas mask? Are you my mummy?
My dad was an EMT and was then a paramedic. They don't just have to respond to important things. If someones tooth is loose and blood is coming out they might call the number and they have to come. No matter what time it is. You have 24 hour shifts too so you might not get any sleep. They also have to deal with fecies alot.
"Dang it, autocorrect" XD
Omg as soon a Rhett said "don't put your mouth on that" I was about to eat cereal off my spoon lol
I'm a dishwasher. My job is 100% crap factor.
Are you a robot, or a human that stands in the kitchen of a pub/bar/cafe/restaurant, washing dishes at a sink?
***** Herb, I believe.
You must be one of those new kitchen appliances that has an internet connection.
Worst job ever for me is doing dishes!!! Don't like the feeling of wet hands just creeps me out!! Will do it but don't like it eeewwww!😰
*****
Nah, dishes are great.
But if you try to get me fired for it, then you're in the wrong.
wear gloves :p
That's my job
“I’d rather deal with people’s faeces than their attitude”
I’ll give it to you Rhett: truer words have never been spoken.
Build-a-bear is the best job ever!
I've been at the point that Emergency Reception even reject me in the hospital. I didn't even get to sit and wait.
As an artist who works on commission, the crap factor in my job is pretty high. You get tons of people who want to pay you beans for hours of work, because they don't understand that custom design is going to cost more than something you'd pick up mass-produced in Walmart. It's one person working for hours to make you something one of a kind. Can't afford it? Don't buy it! But don't expect us to work for pennies an hour! >_<
like, "Yes ma'am. I understand that you can get your daughter's name printed on a pack of birthday invitations at the store for $15. I am DESIGNING the cards personally, to suit your daughter's interests and tastes. 10 hours have gone into this design. And they're going to cost $60. ... you do understand that you're essentially paying a skilled, professional artist, who's studied their trade for nearly a decade, about $6 an hour as it is... right? Do you STILL expect it to be cheaper?!" o_e;
Any branch of the military, anyone who delivers KIA/MIA/POW messages. That's the worst job.
Rhett was cracking himself up with the fluff jokes but i don't think the other two even got it.
She so pretty
She rivals Jen with how pretty she is.
"Kids you wanna learn where the bears come from?"
"They come from the mama bear"
hahaha lmao XD
u guys are A. W. E. S. O. M. E. awesome awesome totally
The image of Stevie commanding Rhett and Link to do stuff (being the producer) is very amusing in my head.
make a will it bear? episode xD
The mythical hat looks awesome I want one!
"Remember when we went down in that man hole?"
-Link 2014.
i will literally never forget Stevie saying 'ok kids pick your carcass' as long as i live.
Sorry :(
3rd dislike kill me
I am now going to unlike and dislike.
They definitely can be worse then the kids! (DISCLAIMER: I HAVE NEVER WORKED AT A CHILDREN'S STORE)
I cracked up when Link said "You wanna make a bear together~?" XD
Ive gatta animate that...but I cant cut out audio. This has to happen .3. someone halp
andholysheet this was posted on my bday. happy fakin birthday 2 me
Happy late birthday 🎂
Happy even later birthday
Happy very late birthday!
omfg thanks CX I was actually expecting people to ignore my comment or something, i dunno why xD
HAPPY B-DAY HOPE U GOT LOTS OF CANDY HAPPY RAINBOWS FOR YOU !!!!! THAT IS MY BIRTHDAY GIFT
At around two years old, my parents took me to build a bear. That was around 2003, I remember it a tiny bit. They got me the special edition spring bear, and I remember putting the hearts in. That bear is still around.
