Anyone know how to play these NTSC Ali express mod cartridges on a pal n64? I’ve installed region free slot but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated
First of all, thanks for setting the TV to 4:3 ;-) Two things for potential investigation 1. Does the PCB or the chips have any Nintendo branding, perhaps compare it to the innards of Goldeneye and that may give you a feeling for whether it is original or reproduction 2. Take the shell off the NTSC cart and put the PCB in the PAL N64, if it's legit then I think it shouldn't work, but they may have made a region-free reproduction board which may work in everything, if they have it would be interesting what ROM they used for it, as the NTSC roms would likely run at the wrong speed in the PAL N64

haha - NTSC strikes again. You could have bought another n64 with the amounts of bits you bought.
You can get ones for about £40 that have 340 games on it and come with an sd that goes in the cartridge so you can add any game you want
If that is boot leg they did a fantastic job on it. The Genesis/Megadrive boots I've bought from Ali felt cheap.
