Thanks Terry n Jill! Big call to be your favourite place on this particular trip so far. Glad WA has come out shining for ya. Long distances in-between but rewarded well 😎
They are amazing, aren,t they. They are in fact the largest sand dunes in the southern hemisphere. I got there going down Elevator Hill (heart in the mouth stuff) and got back up via Conveyor Belt Hill.
loving the content Terry and Jill👍 welcome to the West coast (the best coast), curious to know how you guys ended up migrating to Aus and where your from? cheers Steve
It’s an amazing coast Steve, just love it. We migrated from Canada about 30 years ago now. I do a detailed explanation of what got us here in a future video when we are traversing the Canning Stock Route. I trust you can join us for that one. Cheers👍😎
Loved it, Bilbunya is such a special place, and the run from there to Israelite Baty and then onto Cape Arid and Esperance is definitely bucket list stuff that leaves awesome memories. Welcome to WA guys :) If not on your list already as you come through the south west, try do the run through Yeagerup Dunes to warren Beach, run up Calcup Hill then back onto beach and south to Summertime Track. You will love it. PM me if you want a guide :)
Ill be there this week with the crew! buggys and bikes. We do it every year or so , the joys of living in WA, i have seen the lads out there on the bikes, they do an awesome tour.
Good job on knowing when to back off before you get bogged too deep. Makes getting out a hell of a lot easier! What exhaust system are you running on your 200? Sounds good!
Your not wrong mate, I dislike making more shovel work for myself because of a heavy right foot😉. I’m running a straight through, I detail it here with sound bites and dB measurements👍😎 Straight Pipe Exhaust | Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series | Should You Do It? th-cam.com/video/NDs2f1o4DCY/w-d-xo.html
Thanks mate, this was one of my favourites so far. I carry approximately 270 litres, 93l in the main, and 180l in the Long Ranger. In the sand I’m getting ~25l/100km which gives me about a 1000km range in the soft stuff. It’s awesome, I can cross the Simpson and back without a top up and just finished the Canning without having to take extra fuel👍😎
Great vid guys and those dunes are just amazing. Tell us, have you seen any rangers along the tracks? We want to do and take the 2 dogs along the trip!
That place is a hidden gem of Australia, that’s for sure! We did not see any rangers along the way, but there are 1080 sign’s EVERYWHERE. I’d keep that at the forefront of your mind. Cheers👍😎

Very cool and I did not know they were the largest in the Southern hemisphere, thanks 👍😎
Great clip again Terry, not sure about the emu export though. Cheers Steve
Thanks Steve. I certainly prefer great northern but it was drinkable 😂😎
That sand is sooooo white. It does look like snow in some of the shots you've shown. 👍
It really does, and trust me I know what snow looks like😉😎
Now that is one hell of a dune..... I've seen some dunes before... but nothing quite like this one.
I hear ya mate, it was epic👍😎

Would have loved to do it but the whole SW corner of WA will have to be for another trip. When we do, I’ll definitely take you up on the guide offer👍😎

I’m very jealous, one of my favourite spots. Go well mate👍😎
Water can be found along all coastal dunes, usually dig behind the first of dunes from the beach. 👍
Cheers mate👍😎
