Your DR love challenges my love for the DR-Z.
I hold you, your skills, your adventures and your videos, responsible for me straying. I don’t deserve a third bike but you made me do it.
Top stuff! You’re truly an inspirational and genuine human. Glad to have stumbled across Skids n stuff.
Life is short.
Thanks.
Thanks a ton, sorry about your wallet :)
The ease of which you and the pig handle the sand sets the bar! Legend🥇You’re positively hauling ass in this video and have a great attitude while doing it. Pleasure to watch, and have learned a lot from your channel thus far. 👍
Being on the East coast I love seeing the tracks and scenery in WA. So different in some places and so so quiet compared to over here.
We can ride for days over here and not see a soul. But I hope to ride the east coast some day
Pure awesomeness! Wicked trip!!
Great vid skids, you and Mongrel Dog really get the job done! Must be something in the water over west🤟
Thanks 👍
Doing 80-90kmh in the sand , commenting, one hand off pointing somewhere, stunning scenery.. I ve just purchased a dr because of you! :)
Thank you Egor enjoy the ride!
Awesome riding, stunning south WA coastline, and no BS. Your vids are second to none mate. Thanks.
Much appreciated!
Excellent video - Amazing scenery - Really enjoy the bits of you filming yourself ride - Sick skills, Bro.
Cheers Jay thanks for dropping a line
I´ll make sure to visit Australia, at least once, to do a ride like this before I die.
shit yeh dont wait til ya die thats for sure
Good fun!
It is!
Fabulous video! So fast and I Iove your commentary and music. I'd better go back and look at some of your others.
Thanks Pippa hope you enjoy the others!
Another amazing video! The paces you can ride are awesome! I was worried you were going to run out of fuel. Glad you made it and thanks for such a beautiful, inspiring video Skids!!
Cheers!
So was I! Spewin' because ya can head west into Bilbunya dunes proper from Wylie camp but I was worried about fuel, did NOT want to be stuck on Eyre Hwy in the heat.
DOC!!
Hey Skids, another great video, thanks for taking me along mate!
Glad you enjoyed it Stan my man
Mad probs mate. Well put together, good editing skills, really immersive. Landscape looks stunning too, what an adventure for you. Keep pumping content mate 🤙😎
Thanks alot TMAC glad ya enjoyed it
Thanks for the great info and heads up about track conditions and the fuel situation we can go without a 5 dollar Can of coke but can't go far without fuel and if they didn't change 5 bucks for a can of coke they couldn't afford to stay out there and sell us fuel so cheers to the people that stick it out and support us adventures with the goodies that keeps us on the right track
Pretty sure they do alright selling fuel alone out there, cars and truck filing through getting hundreds of dollars worth at a time.
You do it well ...... the riding ...the video. I crashed at least 10 times putting myself on your handlebars ...:(
Haha that's what I like to hear
love your videos! i have my first ever bike, a 2005 drz400s and it's the best, you're an inspiration!
Nice, ease into it and check out some of our riding tips videos when you're ready. Have fun
Another great vid Ben. I was just checking out those dunes for a plan to head down there myself.
Must try a hammock out!
Thanks, in the interest of trip planning, if I was to do it again I would shoot straight through along the coast track and behind the dunes rather than all the way along the 100km beach
Nice to see some of the history and the beautiful beaches. Thanks!
Our pleasure! :)
Beautiful mate! Driven similar in the 4WD a few years ago, but after seeing this I’ve definitely got to take a trip down on the bike 👍
great as always, its such a bummer when they close tracks like that, good thing there's no shortage of amazing trails😁
True that!
Bloody lovely part of the world🙂👍
too right, thanks for watching Mark
Nice one Skids looks like you had fun not as much pushing 😆, awesome vid thanks dude 🤙🤙
haha yeh beaches bit firmer out there!
Bloody crazy trip! Awsome solo riding adventure thats for sure thanks so much for the wicked content you share with us!! Im sure where there must be times where your really doubting weather you have chosen the right track ect but ya definately got some balls of steel to keep smashing through those dunes and sand tracks to get to the other end!!! Great stuff man!
cheers Pete
If my memory serves me well the bella roadhouse had a 10L/Coles Spring Water bottle on offer. FOR 28 $ XD Great vid / content mix.
they can keep it, I had a heap of water on me still for the next leg of the journey :)
Brilliant trip mate
How many litres do you get into the safari tank?
Hey Great Vid keep it up man
Thanks, will do!
Awesome video mate! Love it! Thought of doing the whole canning stock route?
Yeh probly go for a scoot up the CSR mid year-ish. Thanks!
@@SKIDSnSTUFF good stuff im looking forward to seeing that video! i plan to do it mid august
It’s such a great place, recon you’d have enjoyed the old Tele track heading east from Israelite Bay, some more “Natural Terrain MX track” in amongst the slippery AF salt pans, tree roots and rocks 🤣 - was out there myself again end of Jan.
Yeh I reckon if I did it again I would just take the Tele track out until it forces onto the beach after Wattle camp. But I wanted to see what it was like cruising along the beach for 100kms.... can't do both at the same time unfortunately
@SKIDS n STUFF yeah we did a ride out from Esperance and back, one way up the beach and back via Telegraph track. This time I base camped at Israelite Station and did rides out.
th-cam.com/video/0GwGUkCrnRI/w-d-xo.html
Not as slick as your video but give you some idea of the track
cool
cheers for dropping in James
Wicked content once again mate. 👍 What brand hammock ya running and how do ya rate it ?
Amazon cheapie like this one but with different straps from my previous hammock (more webbing loops). Its mint, cant fault it

In minute 1:02 you turn to the right, did you lock your rear brake while or before getting the curve or just steady throttle?
I think that's just throttle
Are you going to do tours WA seems to have the landscape for it lv only done the top of WA and some central desert stuff l would think you would do alright at it
doubtful what with insurance and all the hoops to jump through
@@SKIDSnSTUFF all the other guys are charging between 5k to 6 k per head bike supplied and there mostly on the east coast even tag along tours are 2.5 k to 3k per head and that's mostly set on 5 or six days with the adventure market the way it's going it's not a bad opportunity
What tyres do you run on the DR?
Shinko 244 rear in this vid cos it's all I could get in Esperance on short notice. But typically Motoz Rallz rear and Desert front. You can see my reviews on this channel.
The Bilbunya sand dunes are constantly changing and can not be be given a definite height. Sorry,. it's my backyard.
Hey mate what mic and camera setup are you using?
Gopro9 with mic converter. Microphone is some cheapo earphones with built in mic, but with the earbuds cut off
@@SKIDSnSTUFF ok cheers mate it works perfectly…
Just been on an adventure whilst at work, "Working"....
Looks choice as and Fing Miles away from anything. 5 dollar coke. Not bad🙄
shame you missed out on poison vreek the beach run over the rocky headland is the best. but then you probably wouldn't have made it on fuel anyway.
Would like to check out that whole coastline from Orleans Bay Road area over to Poison creek some time but yeh fuel was gonna get me on this trip, would have to be its own thing.
@@SKIDSnSTUFF i've been to many places in Aus and going from poison creek east down the beaches and over the rocky headlands was right at the top. would be well worth it's own trip.
I hate it when they rip you off. That's just pure greed. great vid though,
I just necked a nutbar I had on board and got the hell outta there :)
My mum can ride better than this
I don't think that's what your dad means
You win
