May I ask where one could purchase a pibgorn? Can you tell a little bit about your pibgorn. I have been wanting to purchase a pibgorn to add to m y many Welsh interests. Thanks so much.
So far as I know there aren't any makers of traditional style pibgorn meaningfully active currently in Wales, though it might be worth contacting Jonathan Shorland. Of the makers of my own two examples, John Tose is not making any more and I'm unsure about John Glennydd. I think Gafin Morgan is still offering his plastic ones, but haven't checked recently. I know of two makers in Europe whom I believe to be currently active, T Sonoda (www.bagpipesonoda.eu) in Germany and Guy Jaillard (jaillard.guy.free.fr) in France. Of the two I think Sonoda may be the best option.
