You're a monster. I just realized how big this review is. I thought it was all disconnected segments. Thank you very much for giving this to us/the guitar community as a whole. Best Wishes/Regards!
Excellent work, thanks! I recently got an MG-30 and this is such a cool little device! A couple questions: I'm trying to activate the Para.follow at the Global Settings and can't find a way to make the switch go to the "on" position. Also, is there a way to enable the Noise Gate on the unit itself, or I do have to use Quicktone to do it? Please keep up the good work - subscribing right now!
Hi can I sync DAW tempo to the delays in the MG30 via MIDI? Thanks
I really don't know the answer to this question. But if you are on FB, there are some very informative user groups about the NUX MG30.
The MG-30 can work as sound card for recording, would it be' a benefit to plug it into a Focusrite Scarlett before to plug into the PC? Is that a good idea?
That's what I do in my most videos. Not that I have to, but just because I had the Focusrite anyway.
how did you do it can you share with me , thank you
Could you please do a "Nux MG-30 vs. Focusrite Scarlett" type of video. I'd love to hear how it performs purely as an interface, before I order it. You know, how are the native ASIO drivers, is latency acceptable when playing with VST amps (Neural DSP plugins and such...). Or at least comment on it in one of these upcoming videos. Thank you!
That's a good idea and surely interesting for many of us. I'll do a comparison and publish on March 5th (the official announcement day).
@@helmutshatner Wow, thank you so much! That is basically a deal breaker or maker for me :) I need an interface for playing with VSTs, and some effects for playing with amp. So I'll either buy Behringer UMC202HD and some cheap pedals, or MG-30 since I'd like to have everything in one box :) Thanks again!
@@gaddebeli Please be aware, that I am a Mac user. I won't be able to share any ASIO driver experience.
@@helmutshatner Oh, that's a shame, for you it'll just work :D Thanks anyway!
Great review, congrats 👊🎭
Do I need the IR's when I go directly into a power-amp -> guitar cabinet?
No, you won't. Just choose the right Output mode that sounds best for your ears.
@@helmutshatner : thanks for the quick answer. Turning the IR's on/off does nothing when going into the power-amp - interesting.
@@DizzyKrissi The easiest way to check this out would be to step through the different Output modes.
One note: only the last 2 signal blocks can be run split from series to parallel. Had my hopes up for running overdrives in parallel, but no joy...
Yes, you are right. Maybe NUX could consider this for a future firmware upgrade.
From where can l download the quicktone editor software please Thanks
www.nuxefx.com
Enjoyed the tour of amps, FX etc. But this is not a review of the box. Misleading title.
The title is related to a whole series of videos about the MG-30. Did you notice them in the playlist?
Hi can you help me? My Installed my quicktone editor and the updater and I can't see the amps on my screen?
Please check the NUX MG-30 group on Facebook. There are people from NUX who can help.
@@helmutshatner Thank you Helmut.
Thank you again. If I want to learn to download presets from other users, they could help me too?
@@AngelMartinez-qs3cf Yes, there are also plenty of links for free patches.
@@helmutshatner Thank you Helmut. You seem like a nice guy. Sorry for the many questions.
