I still think this was the BEST show I've ever seen - and I got to see it in person at least twice. I was a Sky Ryder (guard '80, '81) and my brother was a Freelancer (sop, '84 &'85). Dave Wailes was in my HS band (and my chemistry lab partner for one quarter). Awesome show, you guys!
I must have 120 memories from this season. One is the practice before the evaluation show and Cindy organizing how to get everything off the floor lol It went something like, OK this is how we're going to do it. Just pick up every piece of equipment you can get your hands on before returning back to the block. What ever is left, the staff will get. OK, Go lol The best season and staff ever!

Dave Wailes was not only a great soprano soloist, but he is/was a super sweet guy!
