    What a wonderful video. I used to live in Reading from 1977 to 1979 but it was sooo expensive and I took a job in Canberra (Australia) where I still live. I hardly recognise the place in this film - lots of big new buildings and very lively at night. The Thames and Caversham area still look very pretty.

    Great effort. Hats off to your patience while making this video. I lived in Reading from 10 August 2011 till 28 May 2015. I really missed Reading. Hope to visit this lovely place some day in near future. With love from INDIA

    Awwww, thank you so much for the walk. I was born in Reading but left many years ago and now live in Cyprus. It was SO nice to 'visit' home although so much has changed and is unrecognisable!! But, it was good to walk the familiar roads and remember..,.... Would love to see more, but it's such a big place to cover!! Thank you again 🤗

      It's a very nice town. A lot of the 'commuter' towns are changing fast! I bet you don't miss the cold winters! 🥶

    i lived there 95 to 2002 this reminds me of walking home from train station after work up oxford road to west reading on summer nights knowing there was a beer waiting in the restoration or pond house

    I lived in Reading from 2009 to 2012 and it was and it is a very special city, I loved it. I had a small flat near the canal in Gas Works Road, good memories many thanks for your video 👍🏼😊

    I grew up in reading whitley from when i was born in 1979 an left 4 ireland in 2001 only been back twice its changed so much walking thew smelly ally on a saturday....

      I don't think there is. I know there was one that was closed down in the late 1960s
